It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami or CSI:NY

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

CSI Miami is good... but it's on too late and I've tried to watch it 6 times and fell asleep somewhere in the last half hour each time. I'm convinced an entire episode can't be watched.

Therefore, CSI: Crime Scene Investigate... the original!

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

I don't watch CSI: Miami much cuz of the time and the way it's filmed ;)

So I like the original CSI especially because of the characters like Grissom, and some of the great two-part episodes.

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

Yeah there was, that's what I was thinking of ;)

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

Exactly, very creepy ;)

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

i definately like the original csi one better..i just think that its betetr all round, plus well i like grissom and nick

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

The original. Miami seems to focus more on the investigation, and less on the science which is what makes the Las Vegas show cool.

Plus I like the characters much, much more on LV. Gil Grissom is a cool, goofy, and well likable character, where as Horatio is just a know-it-all prick who broods and chews on sceenery.

I watch Miami last night, and while it was fairly good I missed things like TMI and Osment cams to take us into the action, and the investigation.

I guess, Miami is OK and I can watch it, but I prefer LV much more.

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

I really enjoy Miami. The regular CSI is on at newstime, which is a pain in the ass, I keep forgetting it. Miami is on an hour BEFOREHAND and I have my own personal reminder **winks at Kass** so it's easy to remember to watch it.

Oh and it has my favorite redhead on it too. That helps. ;)

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

I remind you about CSI too!

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

CSI:Original.

I've only seen one episode of CSI:Miami and just couldn't get into it. Doesn't help that I really don't like Caruso.

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

Definitely CSI LV. I do like Miami, and I think that the different slant they have put on the investigation process there is good, but it is the characters that make it for me. Grissom is just in a class of his own in terms of a recognisable character, he is just the figurehead of the whole thing.

Also, being female (and single), I do tend to slant towards male characters in programmes (not ALL of them...) but Catherine has made a definite impression on me as a very strong figure, and I like her. I like characters that are less than squeeky clean, and the Vegas guys really do it (special mention here for Warrick who is very sweet :D )

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

Hi, I'm a newbie. I prefer the Las Vegas one, more darker plus the characters seem to gel better whilst on the Miami one everyone seems to be distant. Maybe once the series gets going that may change. Also I have a bit of a weak spot for anything Vegas! And you can't beat Grissom and his bugs!

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

o__O!! The original CSI, definitely. For some reason (and you might think it is odd) I find the familiar casts very soothing and not at all scary. CSI:Miami is like.... cold. Distant. Where else in CSI Vegas, I find warmth and familiarity. Would you believe it? I'm nuts! *LOL* Still, kudos to CSI:Miami. New cases, new stories. A true CSI fan watches the show because he/she is interested in forensic science, and not merely about the casts. :p

Re: It has to be asked CSI or CSI:Miami

CSI. I've been watching Miami, but Caruso is too broody and too bombastic, and the rest of the crew just hasn't quite gotten it together yet. Except for the blonde gun expert (Callie?), I don't feel that they've really nailed the rest of the characters yet. Yes, the one woman talks to the corpses (and has kids, apparently), but we need to know more than that. The two guys are basically indistinguishable to me. Maybe they'll get there, but the original has great characters and the stories tend to be more science-oriented, which I happen to like.
