I Have An "LV" Episode/Character Question *NO Spoilers* P2

The clearest example of his name is the episode title "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?"

Desertwind, could you name the episodes ( or scenes) where Sara calls him Gilbert? I tried looking and couldn't find any. All I could find were the other variations of his name used by the other characters: Gil, Griss, etc. Thanks. :)

I have no doubt that Desertwind can answer that, but I'll give you one. :) The infamous "Hello, Gilbert" in Dead Doll. But that's the only one that I know of.

Thanks Smokey! :) That also explains why I didn't know where she said it.

Another quick question. Does anyone know Catherine's stripper name or even if it was revealed at all? I thought that it was Weeping Willows but that's the name of an episode so that can't be right. Thanks in advance if you know. :)

In 1x06 Who Are You, when Cath & Detective Evans go to the club to talk to Ted, the owner. As they're talking Ted says to Evans: "You should have seen this lady dance. Ooohh, Mink here, was she good!"

So, I've always assumed that her stripper name was "Mink".

Wait a minute though. I thought that the episode title "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom" was a reference to that old movie "What's Eating Gilbert Grape". I never thought it had anything to do with his actual name...well, thanks for the info though.:) Where would I be without you guys to answer my CSI related questions?

Thanks kaylyne for answering my Cath's stripper name question. I would have never had guessed that it was Mink.

Yeah, I believe 'Dead Doll' is the only time Sara called Grissom 'Gilbert'.

Hi I have a question. Why GD left CSI? Was he fired or was it his decision to leave? If he was fired because of personal problems, then I think it's unfair especially that Sheen is still in Two and a Half Men. :scream: Personally, I believe WP left CSI because of what happened to GD

I just watched For Warrick on CBS for the nth time. :D I really love watching episodes here and there no matter how many times. CSI is such a good watch. :)

Gary choose to leave on his own, he wanted to live in Spain again and probably wanted to spend time with his kids, though he was arrested on drug charges before this (his exit) was announced, but you never know, I don't know in an interview I read he didn't sound happy with CBS but that could be for any reason

William Petersen had wanted to leave since like season 6, originally he supposed to leave at the end of season 8, but the writer's strike occured so he agreed to stay a little while longer, I don't think he left b/c of GD, but again you never know

Actually, I thought it was pretty much confirmed that GD was fired from the show and that it was said he was leaving to save face.

GD was constantly late to the set and held up production. I think tptb hit a breaking point.

As for Billy, he wanted to get back to the stage and had been wanting to leave for quite awhile. It had nothing to do with happend GD, though what happened to Warrick is a lot why Grissom left.

yeah Gary could have been fired but from what I undersood he refused to sign another contract

Thanks sharp and speedy! :) I didn't know WP wanted to leave earlier, so that changes my view about his departure. But character-wise, I assumed Warrick's death might be one of Grissom's reasons to leave CSI. Warrick was Grissom's favorite right, so that must have been so hard for him.

You got it Smokey, and thank's, the one you said is correct, I guess I was thinking of all the FAN-FICTION where she does call him Gilbert, but as far as episodes the one you said "Dead Doll" is the only one in the episodes where we actually hear her call him Gilbert. And on GD, he was busted after going to the Coachella Music Festival, and was passed out in his car on the side of the road. With major drugs found in his trunk [which he claimed weren't his]. He was assigned to go to rehab, which he did. Maybe Carol Mendolsohn thought it was risky to have him continue on CSI. To me, it was all kinda of vague and murky as to why or if he left on his own accord or was fired:(

Does anyone know if Nicky was molested as a child? I read somewhere awhile ago that he was and that's why he has such a good relationship with kids that are involved in cases.

What episode, what guest actress...?

I thought the episode was "Weeping Willows", i was mistaken. I recall:
An episode with a young up-and coming actress who played a cyber star (willow in her screen name maybe), where she played a victim, but in all it turns out that she was acting, even a blogger came out and was ticked off because they used his script (to the T). What episode is this, and who is the young actress?
