Well anything is possible, we fans have seen some crazy things happen within this franchise, and it would be nice for a little surprise guest appearance at some point. But that article...at the time, was only talking about trying to get him back for a cameo just after he left, solely for a rating boost (seeing they dropped just after his departure).
But you know, nothing is ever carved in stone so...

Does anyone know if Sofia Curtis's character is British or not? I know the actress that plays her is but I'm not so sure about the character. One episode Sofia talks about how her boyfriend and her sat in a trolley. Trolley is a British thing, right? But when she talks about her mom being captain of the police department it sounds like her mom is American.

I'm not sure if she's American, but she's not British. The actress has a british accent, and it comes through a little bit in her voice when she's acting so you can sometimes hear a bit of it. I remember that episode, and I guess depending where you're from or how you were raised, you might use some brit terms, I know that people here in Canada use them quite a bit..

And even then, only certain regions of the U.S. will call a shopping cart a trolley. I know that in the South (or at least Tennessee), they refer to it as a 'buggie'. And in Arizona, it's just a cart. (gee, can you guess where I live now and where I used to live?)
As for Sofia, she has stated that her mother is a police officer for Las Vegas. I'm going to assume the family is at least native to the U.S. - perhaps the Southwest. No proof for that really, just my assumption.

I don't think her heritage has ever been officially anounced, but to be fair, I have quite a few friends who were born in Canada, but their parents were born and raised in England, both with strong accents, but they have flawless Canadian accents, but still tend to use the lingo.

(My guess is that "The Ladykillers" was an earlier title for the episode, and it got changed to "XX" later on - but I'm not 100% sure, so don't quote me on that!)
