This is a just another random question but when people on the forums refer to "TPTB" or something like that, what is that exactly? Thanks again if you post an answer to my question. :)

What's the name of the famed University the show keeps referring to?
    WLVU? is that right?

    Thanks. :D

Do you mean in this week's show? Yeah, I think I saw the letters somewhere when Ray was on campus. And that's the one they always use when they need a college in LV on the show. Western Las Vegas University. :)

Is WLVU even a real college? I know I could probably Wiki it but why waste the effort when I could just ask on CSIFiles. :)

Well, this is a list of Las Vegas colleges and universities and it has a UNLV but not a WLVU so I guess not. Can't say as I know from experience or anything tho. (I'm across the country and have never been off this coast.)

    No, it's not. :)

But it IS a Christian radio station in Pennsylvania. Now for THAT piece of info I had to use Wiki.

The CSI you're referring to is Ronnie Lake. She was an investigator for the swing shift. The only reason we saw her was because Sara had moved to swing after her relationship with Grissom became known. She was really a plot device to show how jaded and burnt out Sara was. After Sara left, we didn't have a reason to see swing shift again - thus no more Ronnie.

Would it be acceptable for a CSI to date a lab rat? I thought as long as the two people weren't subordinates of each other, like a CSI-3 dating a CSI-1, it was acceptable for the dating to take place? Thanks in advance.

Nope, if they want to date they would have to be on separate shifts. Hodges asked Catherine in, I think, 'A Space Odyssey', and she said two labrats couldn't date unless they were on separate shifts. So the same would go for CSI and a lab rat.

Which, of course, brings up the whole thing that was wrong with Grissom and Sara.
