How Much is Gas Where you Live?

$3.69 for us out near Boston, MA. That's for the premium, mind you. I think regular is somewhere around $3.19.

Ours is $3.85 for regular and $4.05 for premium. It seems to be going up 10 to 15 cents every day.

It's right around $3.49 here in Central New Jersey. I thought our price was bad (which it is), but after reading some of the other responses in this thread, I'm a little less frustrated about it. (Still frustrated, but just a tiny bit less frustrated than I was.)

Gah, gas is freaking ridiculous! I swear, I'm glad I don't have my license at eighteen. I don't waste my needed money for college on gas!

But, to answer the actual question, we're at somewhere like $3.59 or something. At least, that's where we were last time I was able to gather the courage to steal a glance at the sign telling you the price. But... I haven't been able to do that in about ten days. I'm ascared!

*EDIT* Okay... I totally got a glimpse of the gas prices at a Mobile station for Regular... $3.88 o_O *thud*

Gas yesterday was $1.24.7 a liter. I don't know what the damage will be today. Fortunately neither my hubby or I have to fill up, yet.

It hit $3.95 here today! Criminy! It's gone up 59 cents in just the two months since I started the thread. That's how they play with your head. Now they have me WANTING that $3.36 a gallon from March 15.

I filled up with gas yesterday at $3.74, it jumped to $3.79 today. And in Milwaukee (about an hour South from where I live) some stations have $4.00. :brickwall: :censored:

Alrighty... 98 is 1.539€/litre, 95 is 1.509€/litre and diesel is about 1.339€/litre

So those are:
98 = 2.37usd/litre
95 = 2.34usd/litre
diesel = 2.07usd/litre

and us gallon is 3,785 sooo...

98 = 8.97usd/gallon
95 = 8.85usd/gallon
diesel = 7.83usd/gallon

(I hope I converted those right)

Well yesterday I had to fill up and paid $1.24.2 a liter. Gas around here will probably go up this weekend as it's a long weekend here in Canada and oh those nasty gas companies have to make more money off of us :censored:

It is very strange....where I live I have seen it go down as low as $3.71 and as high as $3.94 within the last few days (this was w/i a 5 mile area). Also - in my area several gas stations have been fined for not providing full gallons of gas.

per liter here, where i am living, it's like 1.33 and it's going up again tomorrow like 4-5 cents...now I don't know for sure how many liters there are in a gallon, I think it's like 4 1/2 liters to the gallon...so it's around the 6 dollar mark for a gallon, give or take a few pennies either way.

no matter how you look at it, liters or gallons, it's ridiculous!

Wis. man won't buy gas for 31 days, maybe longer
May 16, 3:37 AM (ET)

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (AP) - Brian LaFave couldn't care less how high gasoline prices climb these days - he's parked his pickup truck and is refusing to buy gas for a month, possibly longer.

"The goal is to not use one drop of gas for 31 days," LaFave said, calling it his personal stand against the oil companies.

Now LaFave, 31, is riding his bicycle or walking everywhere he goes. He won't even let friends pick him up unless they already planned on being in the neighborhood.

"If they're not going out of their way, I can take the ride," he said. "But if they're going out of their way, then ... I'm still consuming gasoline so it kind of defeats the purpose."

LaFave started the effort May 11. He bikes to his third-shift job at Aldrich Chemical in Sheboygan Falls, a 9-mile commute.

"I did like a practice run ... two days in a row to make sure I could do it," he said. "I'm not in the greatest shape. The mornings are the worst. It feels like it takes forever. I get like a mile down the road and I want to die."

It's a big change for someone who put 300 miles on his truck the week before he stopped driving it.

LaFave fills out a chart each day listing how many miles he bikes, the destination and the gas price that day, among other things. He plans to compute his savings and donate that amount to a charity that provides food to children in Africa.

"I think just with the gas prices being so high, everybody complains about it but no one ever really does anything about it," LaFave said. "People continue to drive nonstop and not think about it, but I just wanted to take a stand and say, 'I'm not gonna pay this much money for gas.'"
