That just leaves me to wonder what is in store for the rest of season five. If Yelina isn't there for very long, they might not abandon the H/Y storyline again, but we might not see it for another long period of time. It's a shame Sofia's schedule takes away from CSI:Miami.

However, the writers are on their way to gratifying their mistakes with the renewed H/Y plotline. One can only hope they handle season five a little more tastefully than the previous season.

I think t we should blame only writes, Sofia waited too long to be asked to come back, and that` s the bigges mistake from their side, so now I can understand her for not having enough time to do Miami but still she ` s my fav of this show :)

It is and the blame has to lie very firmly at the writers feet for that one, as polina said too. They, as Tally said, decided to put Yelina in 'temporary storage'. Sofia had to move on with her career. Grrrr. :(

you know, when I read Yelina was supposed to be back on season 5 I wondered if she really made it back to Miami. But on SM's homepage, if you look at "WHAT'S NEW?" then you'll see she honestly will be back to Miami, so that makes me think SM will have some more screentime for CSI Miami apart from her schedule for DESIRE... soooo, let's just grab a cup of tea, hold our breaths and wait... wait and wait *lol*

I like the fact, Sofia is a fan von H/Y... that's so good for us.

I just dislike the idea that even though she'll be in Miami, she'll only show up a few times out of the whole season. The big question would be, does she get her job back? As we've seen she resigned before she left for Brazil, so it makes me wonder what her purpose will be on show other than Horatio's renewed love interest. (Not that it's a bad thing. :p )

I'm just interested to see the conversations between Horatio and Yelina after she gets back. They'll certainly be much different considering Brazil will be so 'life-changing' and things have certainly changed around the Miami front. (New lab, new staff, the possible return of Stetler hopefully)

*sigh* But as snickergeek said, let's just hold our breath and wait! :D

yes, Y must be back in S5 not only for the season premiere. like a lot guys here i too have feeling that she will be in some more epis ... :rolleyes: SM a lot time have say that she love her character and this show...(even they have take ride off her so easily and roughly in the end of S3). for my regret all hope is in CSI Miami writher hands again :( if we have to think a little more in S 2-3 H/Y storyline go through 2-3 epis, maybe and this time will be like this. and this busy Sofia's work schedule won`t be obstacle. *cross fingers*

very good questions, but this is Miami and i from long time have stop searching sense in this tv show. if they who must be ashamed can bring back from death some characters, more easily for them will be to give Y her old job :lol:

I always enjoyed the way we would get a fairly intense, emotionally charged H/Y scene now and again in Seasons 1, 2 and 3. Then, there would be several episodes of case related interaction in between. This worked really well and kept their relationship fresh and intriguing.

I know what you mean. They didn't have a moment in every episode, but when they did, it didn't take up a lot of the episode and nothing was compromised plot-wise. (And as you mentioned, those moments were always filled with so much intensity) That was handled very well, and I hope TPTB continue their relationship along that line in season five.

But I did always enjoy their unspoken moments as well as the dialogue bits. ;)

yeah i hope yelina will be in miami during all of season 5, because we know that H keeps beeing concentrated on what he does and what he's looking for, because he's got someone to strengthen his back. I think Yelina will change H in s5 back to who he was...

this is their charm, no need of words. or if we have chat between then is always so short and strong. not only half express, but also a lot ambiguous. this H/Y relationship is never been a soup, hope in S5 to keep going this way.

for conversation only with eyes contact to me come on moment from epi 'Witness to Murder' when Y come to CSI M building to tell H that Evgeni is dead and he know it only when see Y expression one her face. and for half express talk, maybe good example is 'Simple Man': Y or H :How long are we going to keep dancing around in circles?

i agre with u snickergeek H without Y is not the holy hero that we know. she keep him alive and somehow is the good/human part of him.

yeah Yelina makes Horatio smile !! in Season 4 he's about to cry even his voice seems sad :( we missed Yelina please come back soon to see them flashing smiles to each other once and while ==> :)

Aw, lovely pic Luce. I love that expression on H's face. That really is an emotionally charged scene. And the beauty of it is that you can tell it from the pic without even seeing the episode.

I do miss the scenes with H/Y making eyes at each other and sharing that shy smile. The thing I most anticipate about their reunion is the dialouge that's bound the take place and--hopefully--an embrace or--even better--a hug and kiss. :D Oh, and the thing I missed about H in s4...the squiggly moments.
