Ahh..you know we share something in common. The first few seasons were excellent and we always seem to stray there for some kind of comfort. To ensure us that some sparks did fly before they ended abruptly.

I've sometimes wondered what would have happened if Steve Maeda hadn't left. Personally, I would have loved to see what that man have got up his sleeves. His compositions were always so flawless, timing so impeccable, dialougue so captivating. Surely we would have ended up with a different outcome than now. I feel as though the first few seasons, or at least the first two, were carefully written out to bring out the best in each characters. We felt closer to the characters. Don't you think?

Now look what's happening? It's all messed up. Though the return of Yelina back on screen have gotten me jumping with joy, I just doubt that the writers can bring back that 'thing' H and Y often share. For example, take what Sherry have said: That squiggly/wriggly moments. Do you think the current writers can produce that same intensity H and Y had last time? I'm on the fence. With what's happening now, it's hard to tell. However, having Y back is very assuring :D.

I'm upset today actually so..heh, this was just for the sake of rambling. Although, I do hope that I've pointed out somethings that you might consider interesting to say the least.

No I didn't mean that :p lol Season 4 is gooooood too :cool: maybe Horatio looks normal but I thought he was sad! i asked my brother if he saw something different on H he said no, he is the same :D
don't miss Season 4 you have to watch it as well. I've seen 4 episodes until now! and they are NICE!

@pusher: right?( i would say gell? in german, sounds better *lol*) ... Yeah I think Yelina really makes H what he is. That's why he so desperately needs her.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend Season 4. I tolerated the entire season, constantly asking myself, 'Why am I still watching this nonsense? I have better things to do and watch!"

Seasons 1-3 were magnificent in comparison. H's character was truly out of sorts in S4. Not even likeable really. I just hope that the show can somehow find it's feet again in S5. Yelina's return bodes well so I am still hopeful for it's future. :)

^ What MD said. ;) Season 4 was very disappointing, not just because Yelina wasn't present. It was superficial, poorly written and a complete waste of a season in my eyes. As for H, well, he was just a shadow of his former self. Not remotely the same man I know and love from the first 3 seasons. He needs Yelina, no doubt about it.

Exactly my thoughts as well. ;)

I was sitting with my family watching the show the other night, and my dad commented on how "This show seems like it was written by a five year old." :lol: Sometimes, I feel the same way. As you said Lucy, it was very poorly written.

And that is a really great picture! That episode was...'Grave Young Men' I believe? Really great moment between those two at the beginning of the episode. :)

The only thing I didn't get is, why did H wear his badge in his free time? (maybe his gun too.. don't know exactly)
I don't think that Yelina wore her badge.

Perhaps Horatio had gone straight from work to the 'date'. He did have his Hummer with him afterall. ;) But that reminds me of 'Simple Man', which I saw on A&E last night. They were supposed to meet for dinner. Hee.

But that scene actually felt a little cold to me, like Yelina was mad at Horatio. (or at least frustrated with something else) That scene didn't have the same 'feeling' that Dispo Day had. (One of the first times we see Yelina and Horatio converse. Although I believe Simple Man aired before Dispo Day.)

But I loved the bit at the end, where he brought his peace offering, (food of course) :D and how Yelina gives him the shy/smug looks after turning him down twice at the door. :lol: (Dinner, desert) ...And then she invited him in for coffee. *sigh* Such a sweet scene.

Another great pic, Luce. H staring dreamily at her was always a tell-tale moment. Just love when he has that unguarded look and doesn't try to avoid eye contact.

The end scene of 'Simple Man,' was definately a very lovely H/Y scene. I think it really hinted at these two having a long history and it did spark my interest in these two. I liked the way Yelina teased him a bit with the 'turn downs' and you could sort of tell he knew what she was up to. Real sweet scene.

all of u guys have point out very good and strong H/Y moments/epis - 'Simple Man', 'Dispo Day', 'Grave Young Men'... i too like Casp keep wonder can Miami writers make again something similar like S 1-3 with H/Y relationship :rolleyes:

and coz everything was said don`t want to repeat my self....maybe can post one quote from epi 'Dead Zone' (have look too long at HnM banner ;))

Y: What would you do if you found a treasure?
H: What would you do?
Y: Me? Wear better jewelry. I don't know.. travel...See the world. Get Ray Jr. into private school. But you didn't answer my question. If you found a treasure, what would you do?

lol .. so I hope season 5 will be a hit like Season 2 and 3 they are great seasons! I knew there is something wrong with season 4 :lol:

Lest we forget season one as well. ;)

I really do love your banner Pusher, and that H/Y scene was so...Sweet. But as always, H was saved by the ringtone. :p

We need more scenes like that in season five. Just the little moments, nothing too big. I find those are the most rewarding to watch. :)

I liked the teasing at the end of Simple Man too. I'm also quite sure he knew what she was up to. That scene really is very touching as it moves from light hearted to deeply poignant, back to light hearted again.

H and Y do this so well. Whatever the writers decide to do with their future, we can be assured that the chemistry will be as strong as ever. Real chemistry cannot be written. It is just there. :)

I detected a slight sense of frustration maybe. I think the writers wanted Yelina's first appearance to really make an impression and emphasize the effect she had on H. Up to this point, we hadn't seen him blush and act in a wriggly, vulnerable way. The two of them had evidently been 'going around in circles' for some time, and I sensed Yelina may have been a little frustrated at H's inability to face up to things. As they both agreed in 'The Oath', what they have is 'complicated'. ;)

Speaking of that scene.....
will be back in the second episode of Season 5!

Amen. H and Y are completely natural together. It is what makes them so special. :)
