Re: Horatio & Yelina #4 ~'The Romantic Real Deal'~
Ahh..you know we share something in common. The first few seasons were excellent and we always seem to stray there for some kind of comfort. To ensure us that some sparks did fly before they ended abruptly.
I've sometimes wondered what would have happened if Steve Maeda hadn't left. Personally, I would have loved to see what that man have got up his sleeves. His compositions were always so flawless, timing so impeccable, dialougue so captivating. Surely we would have ended up with a different outcome than now. I feel as though the first few seasons, or at least the first two, were carefully written out to bring out the best in each characters. We felt closer to the characters. Don't you think?
Now look what's happening? It's all messed up. Though the return of Yelina back on screen have gotten me jumping with joy, I just doubt that the writers can bring back that 'thing' H and Y often share. For example, take what Sherry have said: That squiggly/wriggly moments. Do you think the current writers can produce that same intensity H and Y had last time? I'm on the fence. With what's happening now, it's hard to tell. However, having Y back is very assuring .
I'm upset today actually so..heh, this was just for the sake of rambling. Although, I do hope that I've pointed out somethings that you might consider interesting to say the least.
Alrighty then. Good'ay people .
