You know? I got that same feeling alter watching that episode…like their dialog meaned something else…I felt like they open the door for the possibility of something actually happening to her.
I'm with you..they keep bringing her so it HAS to be for something!!! :lol:

In the Yelina thread I posted that may be someone could kidnapped her, so H could finally realize how much he needs her and make his move, but I get what you’re saying and now that I think about it I’d be better if he finally talked to her about his feeling (that are probably pretty obvious to her at this point) without any accident or drama…just because he loves her and he already spent enough time trying not to betray his brother memory, enough is enough, period!

I was thinking that something could happen that would make Y go like ”I can’t do this anymore” …then, of course a few scenes with H thinking, feeling horrible…and then H going after Y like “I can’t let you walk away again, I did it before but not this time”…awwww…sorry, I totally pictured that on my mind and it was so perfect!! *sigh* ….

I am so with you, Tally, on your entire post.

Pusher and I think a lot alike, in that we don't want something dramatic to happen to one of them. H needs to be an adult and consider his feelings and act on them in a grown-up manner. I mentioned before that Y needs to speak to him about moving forward, and that if he can't, he needs to not come around dragging her down. (Just happened to think, do you think that's why he's keeping his distance now? Not because she told him to, but because he knows she wouldn't like that 'hang dog' look all the time.)

But it has to happen right? Thats why they brought Yelina in, as a love interest..

Can we count on the fact that this is still true? They have a habit of bringing people back only in order to kill them off (Ray, Ray's partner, what's-his-name) *slap my face* don't speak such things outloud!

Pusher, I adore your avatar! Would definitely love to see some of that, though I don't think its CSIM style. What if some evening they couldn't resist any longer and fell into a passionate embrace. Afterward, H would regret it, and it would be that same ol' rocky road. But what if Y got preggers. Ha! Way too soapy. . . Emily Proctor said on some show that she thinks its like comic book drama. . .could be. . .

Yes, absolutely. No question about that.

Even if Sofia were to sporadically appear in S6 and beyond, in its current offering, one has to ask if this series is deserving of another 4 years?

Considering the lack of quality on the show at the moment, it really is far from deserving. 10 years is a time scale I have heard mentioned, but that could well be tptb talking themselves up. DC often says things like, "we haven't really got started yet!" Is it just me, or does anyone else find that really annoying?

You've got to admire tptb's sheer bloody mindedness at persisting with this "let's make it up as we go along" summer machinations which spawned s4 and s5 and looks to continue in similar vein (refer to s6 opener spoiler) for s6.

That is exactly what they are doing - very well put.

I'm also not really a fan of something dramatic happening to one of them to make them face up to their feelings. I just get the impression that this is possibly the way tptb will approach it, because they lack the creativity and astuteness that's required to tackle it any other way.

A belated welcome to the thread Patricia!

I do think they realized their feelings for each other, but so many things are/were between them.
Sometimes one of them is a coward, then they tried to be happy with another partner and the best thing was ( ) that a dead man rose from the death.

Well they'd have to be stupid and blind to not realize the other ones feelings. They more or less expressed it in "Blood Brothers". Yelina is Horatio's sister-in-law and that's not going to change.. the same barriers are still there. Yes Raymond is dead, but back then they thought the same.

I don't mind that they're going to continue there dance. I'm rather fond of it. It helps raising the questions "what will it take to H to make that leap?" cause it's up to him now. Or will Yelina try to kiss him again? Be careful girl, he's got quick reflexes (think unsexy thoughts, think unsexy thoughts :devil: )

In CSI NY I was kind of fond of D/L but they got together WAY too soon. I've completely lost my interest in them. But to be honest I can't compare D/L to H/Y. H/Y is my favourite ship of all soaps that I watch, and I watch a lot

So like I said I love the dance, if H/Y would've gotten together after 10-7 I would've found it a bit too easy.. And we all know if H believes in something it's very hard well nearly impossible to make him think otherwise. It would've been out of character for him to give in..

Don't think they'll get together by the end of s6. There's still a lot of ground he has to cover before he can go there. But no matter how long it takes, I will always support H/Y and eventually we will be payed for our patience. Think on the bright side, maybe when they get together they will stop showing such sweet scenes between them cause afterall CSI Miami is a crime show..

They are complicated and they're in love with each other. An impossible love. As I recall SM once said she loves the relationship for the same reasons. She also said the journey they have to take is what makes it juicy , I agree 100%

Well if you've read all of my rambling you deserve something. I figured you gals/guys prefer H/Y pic over a popcicle..

Well it's true, but sometimes is hard to have patience. Plus, I think what really gets on my nerves is the back and forward thing...they were good, they were better, something was about to happen bangª! Madison (that her name right?) then the guy that started going out with Y (don’t know who to spell his name), they were starting to be good again...a little better bang! Ray is alive! Then Marisol, she dies, Ray dies and Y kinda disappears...

It's just tiring!

At the end of Big Brother Yelina goes in for the kiss but stupido turned his head so she kisses him on the cheek.

Okay I simply must post pictures of that moment. I'd be a very bad H/Y fan if I didn't.

Yelina: I am going to kiss you on the cheek. Make our fans think there's nothing going on between us ok?
Horatio: Gotcha.
Yelina: When the episode is over, we make a run for the closet ok?
Horatio: Ok, In S4 the lab will be rebuild in glass so we have to spend as much time in that closet as possible.
Yelina: As long as the elevator won't be in glass .. it's fine with me.

Well don't ask what it's like for Yelina cause it's mostly due H we're going backwards. But still I think that's the beauty of it all. In all other shows you have the thing of "do they love each other yes or no?" Here we know it, they do! And they BOTH know it! I can't imagine how hard it must be to truly love someone, who loves you back and you know it, to not be able to be together because of these boundaries that are technicly not crossable.. yeah she'll always be his sister-in-law. Usually I'm not a patient person, but with H/Y I have (almost) all the time in the world.

Hee, you're right and I didn't mean to post that! I meant to just post 'face up to their feelings' and should have edited my sentence. Apologies for being misleading. Also, I've been thinking that Yelina has pretty much faced up to things, many times over. She has always been very direct with him. So, in reality, we just need H to get with the programme and stop being so maudlin!

My post was actually referring to something I have already posted in another thread but you can’t read my mind so I’m sorry…I wasn’t really coming after you for saying they haven’t realized how they felt yet :lol: Plus you didn’t say that! :lol:

What I was trying actually to say is that, the storyline “something has to happen to make them realize how they really feel” would be pretty silly actually because as I said in that post “haven’t they realized it already”

Tati, love the dialogue you put in for those caps. If only they would really say that in the show. Closet or elevator sounds exciting!!

I too don't want something drastic to happen to make H face up to his feelings. And I think they should slowly get into the groove of being close friends again, then realising they don't want to lose the friendship, that they love each other still, then get together. And a make out scene would be nice icing on the cake :devil: But not Miami's style, so I'll settle for a kiss, a real hot one

I'm still optimistic that we won't have to wait til the series end before H/Y get together. I mean look at NY and LV, they got main characters together and I don't think either shows are ending their run soon. I'm still hoping for something to happen between H/Y hopefully by end of s6.

And I still think their mutal feelings for each other are still there. That's the vibes I got from watching parts of 'Burned'. I made these icons some time sgo cos that was the thought that came to my head when I saw the screencap. I thought her eyes still said she loved him still.
