I have to admit I didn't see that part. Would have liked to. I hope you are right!

Maybe we should have photo categories to while away the time. Like we pick a topic and see what photos people post. For instance, we've all seen those we think look like they might be getting married. Or pics with silly faces, or that sort of thing. Unless it would take up too much space on the thread. . .don't know whether there are rules pertaining to this.

I am worried about the new season, and what the ptb might perpetrate against us, so I've changed my avatar to the worst thing that ever happened. I think I'll leave it til there is something to be happier about.

Indeed, lol. After a couple of years of this kind of uncertainty, I really do feel for Sofia as well as all of us. It is of course possible that she has been asked not to give away anything too revealing about her involvement in the show (as mentioned), but with tptb's track record, I am very reluctant to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I think Yelina must be representing her fans in this picture!

Tally, have I mentioned how much I love your wonderful sig? Inspiring much.

Regarding the future of H/Y, I still believe there is a silver lining for us (and them). It will just be a long time coming.

No way,....that episode was aired here todayª! (I got both S5 and old seasons) I saw it before but I didn't remember it was that good!
Actually, when I finished watching it I thought "I have to post about this on the H/Y thread" :lol:

That conversation, wow! Was more than I could take...it was/is so hard to watch...H saying "I always thought that you and I..." and Yelina almost despered "I'm still your brother's wife?" "it wasn't our fault he died" god! Painful, really painful!

But I don't get...H thought they were going to be together and suddenly Ray gets in the middle? Did he do anything to stop the wedding?. Do we have this information? Do we know what really happened there?

^ good questions. we have discuss this subject long time ago. for ours regret we don`t have any info re H/Yelina/Ray Sn. life before S1. don`t know why but i aways have feeling that H know Yelina after his bro marry her. and for me somehow make logic that they (H/Y) get close as friends (of course) after Ray Sn. go to work undercover. He was more and more away from home and maybe ask H to take care for his familly. why not H to be the one who get in there house when Ray Sn. make problems coz of drug addiction also with all this wonderful chemestry between H and Yelina for me when they meet for the first time - the look of love was there

Pusher your avatar just sends naughty H/Y thoughts up my brain. I love it. I really hope to see all that action between them in the future.

As for those looks they give each other I thought it was still very evident in 'Burned'. Maybe I didn't watch the whole ep yet, but of what I saw, they were still giving each other the eye. Especially H, the look he had when they first meet at Anthony's car. But I agree Y made less eye contact with H of what I can recall, but she did give him certain looks which were quite telling in my opinion that she still had feelings for him.

But I do agree, H has to be the one to make the first move this time. And I agree with Lucy we have a silver lining, and H/Y will happen, it's just a matter of when. I hope it's not just before tptb decide to kill one of them off or end the series or something. No don't go into panic, this isn't spoiler info, it's just my random thoughts.

I doubt that we'll ever see something like in Pusher' avatar. If anything I think we'll be lucky if we get make out scenes once they're together.

I want to know if tptb still think the same about H/Y. From what I can recall, they all seemed to adore the relationship so maybe there is hope for make out scenes

You're welcome re the picture. kit, I had to chuckle at your bazooka comment!

You have to remember though, when it comes to that wonderfully heartwrenching scene in the lobby in Blood Brothers, this was followed only a few episodes later by H's emotional backpeddling in Hurricane Anthony's final scene. His poignant "thank you" at the end was oh so telling. Y's patience and understanding were more than worthy of those words, and H knew that.

Re the H/Y backstory, we know for sure that Yelina met Ray before she met H, but I have always had the feeling that when Yelina met H for the first time, it was one of those 'wow!' moments between two people, when there is just an immediate attraction. Okay, so I admit to being a bit of a romantic but this is how I imagined it.

Then, as Pusher said, when Ray was away from home more and more, H was there for her and Ray Jnr. Maybe not that often though, as Yelina explains Ray's absences to H in Big Brother. I think H kept his distance, up to a point, because he was probably afraid of his feelings for her (as he still is). Interesting that he watched over her from a distance then, and he is doing so again now.

Then, when Ray 'died' the first time, H and Y grew closer again and their feelings for each other came to the surface all the more. Until the Madison factor came into play in Money For Nothing, it looked as if things were possibly heading in the right direction for these two.

So just how long do tptb plan on this 'never really getting out of first gear' approach? Are they going to have to force the issue by having something really dramatic happen to one of them? If they really are planning on Miami running as long as it can (we could be looking at 10 seasons), I think that we have a lot more waiting to do. I honestly still believe that H and Y are ultimately destined to be together (I think the writers feel the same too). The only barrier to us in all seriousness, is if Sofia decides she has had enough and wants out. It's such a shame that the writing is not of a better standard. As things stand, she is still being wasted on this show.

Er, I didn't intend for that to be so lengthy!

i don`t follow CSI LV or NY. but from few ava/banners that i have see in this forum - there have some hot scene between main charatcers ( Danny/Lindsay for example). yes i agree with Kit that in Miami there is no chance something like this to happen - but we can dream hehehe :devil:

as i see i`m not the only one who don`t work but enjoy on max this Friday afternoon :lol: what about meeting by the river ?!

Well if they wanted to stretch H/Y till near the end of the show why did they bring her back after "only" 1 season absence? Or are they going to invent something else to keep these 2 from hooking up? As Patricia or someone else said in another thread, is the end of Burned forcasting something? That something might happen to Y? I think it does. Come on the Miami writers wouldn't leave an oppurtunity for drama out, knowing them. Maybe that's what H needs... well I think spending more time with her on the job would close the deal also. Obviously H isn't visiting her much, trying to keep his distance so that's why they have to get involved again @ job. Get that comfortable routine back going than Yelina expresses her feelings and hopefuly H will do the same + this time acting upon them! One can dream. But it has to happen right? Thats why they brought Yelina in, as a love interest..

wow long time to be here if TPTB drag H/Y plot line till S 10

i agree that we desperately need H/Y comfortable routine (re S 1-3) and involved again @ job. but i don`t want H to act on his truth feeling only just coz something awful/dramatic have happen to Yelina or him. as this was said many times, there is so so much big possibility for H/Y development after they become real couple. we are already tired of this style - 'chasing cars' around. most of the tales finish when the hero merry his lady and they start to live happy ever after. but i`m curious by nature and I WANT TO KWNO what happen after this. will they have characters crash, can H change etc...

Smashing pic, Luce. Such a looker, our Sofia. Fair dinkum' on the commentary on how long is too long to wait for THEM to get their act together. *sigh* You KNOW how this continued wallowing in superficiality bores some of us to tears (your dear self included, I would wager), Luce. Honestly, there's a huge-ish part of me that wishes that Sofia would just issue an imperious "Basta!" and move on to projects more deserving of her talent.

Even if Sofia were to sporadically appear in S6 and beyond, in its current offering, one has to ask if this series is deserving of another 4 years?

With 5 years down the Miami road, H/Y continue to have an "always winter and never Christmas" interaction. "10-7" was the defining moment, the closest we came to having Father Christmas break through all that snow and ice. Post-"10-7", even with the abysmal token offerings of the last 2 years, we're still at "the ice is all between".

You've got to admire tptb's sheer bloody mindedness at persisting with this "let's make it up as we go along" summer machinations which spawned s4 and s5 and looks to continue in similar vein (refer to s6 opener spoiler) for s6.

Interesting formula.
