Well they haven't have their "moment" together yet. So I'm thinking we should save it till when they finally get together.

The downside to this approach is that we may be waiting for years for that to 'literally' happen, or in the worst case scenario, it may never happen! *sigh* I suppose I like that title because it is hopeful of what the future may hold. It is more symbolic at this point.

Edit: I think the exact quote by Ildy was, "Kiss her....do it!" ;)

First watched this song "in action" as it were for a Bill & Laura (BSG) clip on youTube. Unbelievably beautiful. Recently watched this same song used for The Doctor and Rose (Doctor Who) also on youTube. STILL unbelievably beautiful......

They have had their moments but when we talk about "A Moment Like This", it's really about the down-to-the-marrow realization and acceptance and the freedom to act upon the searing truth of feelings infinite and all encompassing. The doubts and the past misses are burned away and replaced by the absolute clarity which becomes crystallized in and by this "one moment". This "moment" in its entirety is so far above and beyond just the intimate physical aspect of the relationship; it is the "moment" where one embraces the totality of the relationship and not the mere superficiality of a token exchange. :)

Before this I just want to say that I vote for this thread title suggestion:

I like it a lot. I know that I`m little strange and will go little out of the context but for me even H & Yelina still to not have their "moment" together yet or never have it.... all this strong and true feelings between them is enough sometime even u to wish something like this to happen to u (S 1-3). I know that this is not the happy part for the love, but it`s so ... hummm don`t know what word to use... real, strong, fascinate, memorize etc... from the books/movies romance point of view most of the characters wait (surch/want) 'Moments Like This' ....wow this come a lot silly, not like I want to be, but anyway ... *run away ashame*

I voted for 'Kiss her, do it!' because I died when I first heard it. :D One of my fave H/Y quotes ever. But 'A moment like this' was a very close second.

Not silly at all. ;) Horatio and Yelina are the 'romantic real deal', so their relationship brings out the romantic side in all of us. Good, old fashioned romance has such a timeless appeal. It's great to see you posting such thoughts! :D

Thanks for the lyrics Tally (and Patricia yesterday too). Songs that are played during fan vids are often so evocative when coupled with great scenes. I love 'Wherever You Will Go' by The Calling, since hearing it during a Bill and Laura (BSG) fan video. Some lines aren't all that relevant to H/Y, but I'll post it anyway. ;)

And I've always loved "A moment like this", really beautiful lyrics...and with a voice like Kelly's...
I didn't voted for it but I agree with you Pusher, even if nothing has actually happened between them I still believe that some people would give anything to, at least, feel something like what we know they feel for each other.

I like all the thread names so it was hard to choose. I always like the song by Kelly Clarkson but well I'm still hopeful we'll get that "moment" for H/Y like when they finally kiss or something. I'm sure it's in the cards even if not yet.

I love this song Lucy - first I have it like mp3 and after time when I see the video on MTV I was so impress that young boy have so deep and great voice. Also I agree that some songs in fan vids become more and more good when they are coupled with great scenes and fav characters. Even for me sometimes they look like new songs or with different meaning hehe Time ago I like a lot Evanescence song 'My Immortal' and 3 Doors Down "Here Without You" coz of x-files fan vids and even now when I hear them I always think of Mulder/Scully.

Btw what happen with one old tradition - count-down pics till S6 premiere. :rolleyes: Even some of us to not be so excited for 24 September it`s always pleasure to see some great H/Y caps again. Hey can u hear me Lucy ?! :p

I was just wanting the same thing! Right now I'm still on dial-up and someone else's computer, so its way too much trouble to get to my photobucket account. So somebody PLEASE give us some pretty pics to make our hearts flutter! :p
