I read somewhere that she was asked to reprise her role as Analisa on the Sopranos ending episodes, but she declined because of waiting to hear when she would be working on 'Burned'.

wow this is great for us. but... i`m not sure that CSI Miami deserve this gesture. ok from some points she do it coz of her fans, but i hope at the same time when SM come back in Miami to take all that she can and want - many money and some kind of choice what to happen with her charatcer Yelina. i know that this is a lot selfishly, but if it was me on her place i`ll do it without hesitation... i just don`t want miss Milos to came back in this tv show on any price. she make one big compromise to come back after '10-7' and hope to not make any new compromise ... from what i`m most afraid is all this coming insane S6 spoilers... wow how much soup can have in this tv show ... am i the only one who think that everything is lost ?!... that even Yelina return in this new season premiere is not enough for Miami to make turn in the right direction... sorry guys but if i know for this spoilers time ago and some one ask me did i want Yelina back... my answer will be NO... why wee keep lose ours free time ?! only coz they play with us dirty games - she is back and maybe will come again... no thank... i give up already

I couldn't agree with you more, Pusher. Unfortunately, I don't think its very realistic. I think they will tell her what the deal is, and if she doesn't like it she can go. That seems to be the way those people work. Especially when they don't seem to realize how popular a talent they have with SM.

I hope that if tptb don't know how to use her, someone else will, and will offer her something wonderful. She seems to be a very professional lady, and I would like to see her rewarded for that.

drgnldy, thanks for the info about Sofia being offered that part by Sopranos. By crikey! She should have taken it. She was fantastic during her stinct with that tv series. The writers did her character much justice and were amply rewarded by Sofia's interpretation and portrayal.

So true. I wish she had. That would have shown tptb that she is well enough regarded by others that CSIM could lose her if they don't get on the ball. They already had to wait for her to finish 'Desire, Table for Three', during S5. What does it take for them to get it?

I believe TPTB would hope to have her on a leash so that if they ran out of creative ideas (which happened on many an occasion this past season), they could just whip out a Yelina storyarc out of the blue (like they did with 'Burned', which if you ask me wasn't too bad because it was a reunion between the hero and his princess-in-disguise). She's one of the better actors on the show and it's quite a shame they're throwing her around like this, but they're using her whenever they want to. She could totally play that game too if she wanted because TPTB knows that fans love the H/Y interaction (due to its complicated nature) and if she were to all of a sudden disappear, fans would become more disillusioned with the show and perhaps abandon it (such as the poster who wrote that incredibly amazing canon-verse post). Am I making any sense? It's quite early here and I don't think I am

wow as i remember right, Yelina is part of CSI Miami from the 1-st season. so we need TPTB to come back to the beginning and continue what they start back then in the time. then to keep stone at us spoilers like Aerosol or H 'newt part' of the family. this i can call creative ideas out of the blue ... i wish SM to put end of this 'flirt' with TPTB and we all just to move forward...post S 3 Miami with or without her is the same 'cheesy telenovela'... all i want for this Christmas is to know that miss Milos have new contract with other tv show ...

I have just been looking at some screen caps of the episode 'Vengence', and I must not have seen this one. There are two places (middle and end) where H/Y seem to be having a very intense discussion - she is obviously upset about something. Can someone tell me what its all about? So true and I too would have loved to see her reprise that role. Such a shame that Sofia was unable to fulfill that opportunity and appear in 'Burned' as well.

Once a worthy holder of the CSI name, our dear 'Miami' has degraded to nothing more than as Pusher so correctly put it, a "cheesy telenovella" (although I've also been calling it a primetime soap opera). Lol, I wouldn't put it past them! It's somewhat reassuring to know that our despair at the current state of the show is echoed in some parts of the media. I'm toying with the idea about starting a thread about this in the Miami Forum. Any thoughts?

:lol: Hmm, sounds like a cross between 'Heroes' and 'Harry Potter'. Maybe it'll be like 'Night of the Living Dead' with all those dead people coming to live when the moon is full. Maybe we'll soon find out that Calleigh can time travel and Alexx can talk to dead people.

It's to our advantage that sofia chose to do 'Burned' instead of the Sopranos. I believe she herself mentioned before she loves the H/Y storyarc and I guess she must like it enoungh to see it through. I really hope tptb do justice to her character. Mayve it's time Corey got anohter email from us. And Idly's stil there, she's a H/Y fan right?
