No worries at all Luce. :) I think this must be the month for busy real life activities. Or in my case, hoping that the River Thames doesn't rise anymore (I'm not at risk personally, but I have friends who are very much in danger of being flooded which is such a worry). Sorry, off-topic...

I agree with your take on the Sofia situation, and Tally, I marvel at her return too - but, I guess it's understandable in a way. She must have very mixed feelings about it all.

Where's Pusher? We're missing you! ;)

Argh my computer keeps hanging on me and I can't post all my thoughts except that I hope tptb have more than just bit appearances for SM. But it's too early to tell.

Can appreciate where Sofia's probably coming from Luce as you mentioned but it must have been really tough for her to step back on that set after all that transpired. Intestinal fortitude, indeed.

Good to see ya haven't melted as yet, pusher. 43 C?! Yowzah! Geez, if it were H in that sort of temperature, with his Tundra-like coloring, he'd self-combust and whizz around like a Roman candle. Thanks for the great pic. :)

Very tough I imagine. As MD said, she must have had such mixed feelings. Credit to her for being a true pro and being so dignified about the whole thing.

Well, I just got through watching WTM. Horatio knew something was wrong when Yelina came around the corner. You could tell it on his face and by her expression. Was in tears at the end as usual.

Thanks re the flood concern - my friends won't know for sure until the early hours, when a water surge is expected. Fortunately, they still have running tap water, unlike many others. It's all so surreal, but fingers and toes crossed.

Katpin, I love that scene in WTM when Yelina only has to look at H and he reads her expression. Such a poignant moment - maybe someone can post some pics from that scene? ;)

Pusher, Yay! Glad you're okay, but that heat must be really hard to bear. :( Hope it cools off for you soon.

The temperamental computer I'm using seems to be working ok now. Gosh just saw the pictures of the flood on the news, hope you guys in the UK are ok. And the temperatures where you are Pusher it's crazy. Stay cool! Though I'm not sure how. Global warming... (sorry OT)

Yeah amazing connection H/Y have. I wonder if the spoiler about

I guess H has always carried some of the guilt of Speed's death with him, if he's able to see that it's not his fault, perhaps we can get the old H back. They can confirm Rory's appearance in a couple of ep but not SM's? I do hope they also confirm she'll be back for more than one ep soon. I'm getting tired of this 'bringing people back from the dead' thing. They've done it once already, and if it's in the same vein, Speed's in danger of dying for real after some time. If they bring Marisol back, that'll be the last straw! :rolleyes: How much more soapy can Miami get?

Anyways one more week to 'Rio' for me, can't wait.

Hi, lots of action here while I was on holiday - nice to read it all. Wish I had some of that heat, Pusher, as it was cold in Germany, and I have been cold here in East Anglia for most of the summer! Rather than beer, I drink about a gallon of tea a day.

Hrockz, I had morning sickness all day long for 5 months - hope you fare better!

I have just sent Sofia another e-mail, telling her something of our feelings and asking for updates as soon as she is able to speak. I've been thinking about what some of you said recently about her professionalism in returning to the show after having been treated in the manner she was. I have to agree. I read somewhere that she was asked to reprise her role as Analisa on the Sopranos ending episodes, but she declined because of waiting to hear when she would be working on 'Burned'. That was too bad, as she was well regarded in that role, and I would have liked to see that story finished. TPTB just better treat her right this time!!!

Lots of discussion again I see on that topic we seemingly can't get enough of - that sister-in-law thing. Most of you seem to understand it, but I really don't - I just don't get the problem. He holds loyalty to a dead bro who did his family very wrong above his love for that bro's widow. (Not WIFE - they would not be having an affair for goodness sake.) Weird. I just don't see how he thinks he would somehow be betraying Raymond. Raymond already betrayed everybody.
