Well I think the Stetler move was a pretty good one actually. It was nice to see Yelina move on, and how Horatio would react to that. I still think that Horatio's "walls" have crumbled a bit.

And if they hadn't put in the Stetler relationship, god knows what else they would've put in the place.

I'm not even mad at the writers for removing Yelina from season 4. There had to be changes in the relationship if they hadn't done that move H/Y would've been together by now. Not that that is wrong cause it isn't but then we'd lose a lot of great moments.

I think this is a top time for H/Y. They've been apart from each other for 1 - 1.5 years. Just before she left, she split up with Stetler and told Horatio how much she'll always need him. That moment they were closer to get together then ever. But then her husband seems to be alive and she flies of to Rio, maybe a bit against her will.

A year later, her husband is killed and she returns to Miami. A lot has changed in that year, Horatio got married but his wife got murdered and Yelina well we don't know much about her stay in Rio. Besides the fact that she was very mad and disappointed with Raymond.

And now they're finally reunited. They have to search where they're standing with each other. In the end of "Rio" I think they both find that the other is still attracted and very much in love with the other.

But how are they going to go further?

The fact that this relationship is so complicated and the fact that the actors even spread chemistry when they're talking business, well that's what makes H/Y my top ship!

I agree with that.

But how are they going to go further?

I do hope they will go further. It's not a matter of how, I guess we all kinda know they will, it's more a question of when. I have no doubt that if it was announced that Miami was gonna end it's run, they'd get H/Y together. But since Miami's not yet, I'm not sure about the writers getting them together yet, although I agree with you the time is right for the two to move on with and get together.

I don't like the P.I job for Y, mainly cos it makes things hard for her to be a regular in the coming season. Only CSIs, MEs and Detectives are regulars, I don't see how you can write a PI into every episode. But I hope to be proven wrong. Maybe she'll eventually return to MDPD as a det. Just my random thoughts.

I think she will return as a det. Just because the PI job is very dangerous and you don't have regular hours..

It'd be funny if Horatio went after Yelina to protect her

I think this is the perfect set-up for some interesting moments. The situation is almost more complicated now and will be even more fascinating for the writers, the actors and the audience to explore.
I can't wait to see where they'll take this.

Yelina only appeared briefly in the episode It's the episode with the girl who's parents are murdered and Horatio goes after him, even follows him to New York. It's the first crossover between NY & Miami so it's from "MIA/NYC – NonStop"

I just rewatched "Legal" in the beginning when they're in the bar, I kept wishing for them to go in one of those rooms and you know

For those who don't remember, it was a glass room but as soon as you closed the door the glass got blurry.

I find it both odd (and as already stated inappropriate) that he is able to finally accept and acknowledge his feelings for Yelina while standing in front of his brother's case file.

Respectfully, I don't believe any of us have implied that H finally accepted his feelings for Yelina in this scene. I imagine thoughts about his feelings for Yelina weigh on his mind often, but he's still battling with accepting them. It's an ongoing emotional dilemma for him.

Regardless of what Ray did, Ray is family, and the focus should be on that -- not how he "got" Yelina and how Horatio suffered because of it.

I also don't think we've expressed that the main focus is how Ray 'got' Yelina and how Horatio suffered. I think that is possibly a misinterpretation of the points we are trying to put across (an occasional downside of internet communication, as we all know). I think H's profound sadness in this scene very much reflects how they have all suffered. I think MD summarized our thoughts in a nutshell here:

Yeah I can see that happening now. It'll be great to watch.

Kit your pic is from 'After The Fall' the part where Y and H interviwed the judge whoever, forgot his name. This was one of the cases where H didn't catch his man, well at least for 2 seasons.

The situation is almost more complicated now and will be even more fascinating for the writers, the actors and the audience to explore.

I sincerely hope it would be explored cos I know DC and SM will play it out very well.

Oh and btw if I guessed the ep correctly go ahead and post the next one anybody This thread is buzzing with activity and it's getting a whole lot of fun
