As it's already been said by multiple folks, watching Miami nowadays is a chore and a heartache simply because of the utter waste of all the good work done in S1-S3. I've said it before and I'll say it again; in S4 and S5 up to now, miami tptb went looking for something and found less than nothing. Scary thing is they're happy with this situation because of the ratings game. They can dress it up Barbie-style but it still stinks like last week's doo-doo.

An ep or two or three with Y will not suffice. No sirree bob. In order to semi-reverse the deep-seated damage done, there would have to be a level of writing consistency on par with the regularity of the ocean tides. In view of the sad state of affairs with current tptb, we would have a better chance of being hit in the ass by a meteorite.

Lol, a few of us were making the very same point in the Miami Forum a few days ago. We were highlighting the absolute lack of quality now on offer in terms of writing, storyarc development, well, everything really!

Exactly. Let's just hope that there maybe a writer out there somewhere who can restore some much needed quality, starting with the reintroduction of Yelina and a storyline worthy of her character and H/Y.

silly me, i was wonder from long thime what video clip remind for S5 Miami - it have to be Aqua - Barbie Girl :lol:

and now serious as Lucy have say in Miami Forum a few days ago - what make me sad and irritate me a lot was the fact that a lot peoples still find Miami entertaining - they even enjoy this so ridiculous direction that Miami keep from the end of S3. yes, maybe coz of this this tv-show is still with high ratings - as long as the rest don`t trouble that Miami is perfectly example that tv can lead to stupidity.

hope that one Cory Miller e-mail to polina (1-2 month ago) is still valid/available and csi miami writers think to bring Yelina back in this tv-show. for now theirs justification was coz of a lot busy SM work schedule, but now...

sorry, to disappoint some of you, but I don't think that Season 4 is soo bad. 'Fade out' is the last episode so far I've seen.
maybe it has to do that a certain character (points at my icon) has some nice storylines which don't overhelm the complete episode. and I honestly have to say, as long as they don't mess up with him completely, I will watch the show.

I also have to say that the cases are more and more less realistic (even for Miami) and they have too much plot twists and holes.
I miss Yelina, she added some more power woman touch to the show.
Her scenes with Horatio don't make me cringe like scenes with another female character do.

Those who were saying that they still find Miami entertaining (in the Miami Forum), also admitted that it had lost it's quality. I suppose we all watch (or not!) for different reasons, and something that is so lacking in substance doesn't entertain me at all, especially when it was once so good.

MD made a very good point in the Miami Forum too: since the end of Season 3, there are far fewer posts in the episode threads and many fans who used to post regularly have long gone. This is no coincidence and is a great shame.

well even to have re-watch it, i still find this epi a lot disappoint. maybe be coz of some promo pics that don`t show at the screen or more probably coz of too rush plot line somehow even still to have chemistry between SM/DC this epi wasn`t exactly like some cool H/Y moments from S 1-3 (BB,HA,SM)....i miss this special and sweet scene between H/Y - like 'stammer' and 'blushing' H or Y - pushing H button again and again *sigh*

Lovely pics Pusher. Thanks! The chemistry was still as strong as ever in Rio, but the dialogue was poorly written. It just didn't flow, and their looks said so much more anyway.

Oh, how I wish that H and Y were thrown together in some kind of dramatic situation! I would love to see them forced to confront their feelings (particularly H, who is so robotic these days), in the same way Marguerite and Roxton were in TLW.

Well the dialogue wasn't as we were used to. But hey we got spoiled in seasons 1 till 3 right? I hope we get more H/Y moments soon, since I've almost seen all episodes of Season 3 I've added another song which resembles (in my opinion) H/Y relationship perfectly.

I heard the song some days ago before I went to work and I had it in my head the whole day.
and of course, I thought about H/Y.

Hm, Rio. I liked the moment Yelina saw Horatio. Her look said so much. She was happy and surprised to see him, but she was also sad because his wife died and Ray was in danger.
and maybe it's only me, but it seemed that she was feeling Horatios presence.

aw, I wish I could watch 'Lost World'.
I saw a few episodes, but the Austrian TV station cancelled it after the first season. I liked the show! *pouts*

You're not alone in thinking that inge. Infact, that scene was my favourite of the episode. Yelina definitely senses H's presence (that was a nice touch with her arranging the flowers). I really liked the way he paused at the window, deep in thought and certainly very moved by seeing her again. No words needed.

I wish I could watch 'Lost World'.

I wish you could see it too! It is one of the most uplifting, inspirational TV shows I have ever seen. I had to get it on dvd in order to see it, though it is only available on Region 1.
