Does anyone know when the new season starts? September when?

We all seem agreed that he could stop wearing black but what colors could he wear? With jacket? Or without? Material? Silk shirts, maybe? Raw linen suits? I think dress him as if he were actually in Miami!

If I remember correctly Rio will air on September the 18th but I might be wrong...if I am..could someone please edit this post?...

But it's true that CSIs have done more advanced studies thn patrol cops. Not that I'm criticising patrol cops, but some of them aren't that smart... ( my uncle works on patrol and he tells me that it's funny the mixture of people you get...from extremly bright and cultivated to ...well...you see what I mean...) :D

CSIs get right into the case whereas patrol cops only cover the outlines and are there to stop people breaking the law in the first place. Doesnt really metter whether they are brainy or not.:D

yep ... i see :D ok let's say it depends on the cop ...
maybe there are such csi's too ...

:lol: Horatio's pretty quick when it comes to comebacks. That's what I love about him. People see him as just some old cop, but really he's got a sharp mind and he's playful enough to take a jab at someone. :p

Yes, I love H's smartass ways, heehee. That grandma scene (was it from Simple Man? My memory's getting worse these days, I tell ya :rolleyes: ) will always stick in my mind :lol: and I agree with Luce that he says these smart lines to put someone in their place. I think if he did it more often when it wasn't necessary, then I would construe it as arrogance and probably find his character annoying.

As for new coloured shirts in S5, I have a better plan...how about no shirts at all? :devil:

Horatio really should expose a little more flesh. We need him to unbutton his shirts a little more. We should start a campaign to have this look again.....

I guess these smartlines jsut show that he's in control of the situation. WHen he's interogating a suspect who's provoking him a little, or at least trying to be smart, H puts him back into place...which just shows that he's the boss and that the cop is always smarter than the fellon...that's how I see it anyway!

thegluups, I agree with you in a sense that Horatio is always in control of the situation. He knows how to talk to people, and he knows the right thing to say that will get him the answers that he needs. Even if it means yanking their chain by poking fun at them. :p
