But reading all of the books would be cheaper and last longer. :)

Seriously though I'd recommend getting the first novel at a library since that's what'd be a great intro and explain most of the terms.
 
I love Disneyland. A lot of my friends don't like Harry Potter either. They don't like the magic and fake characters in it. They watch the movies but they don't like them. Sometimes, there are just things that don't grab your attention. Lord of the Rings doen't grab my attention like Harry Potter does, I love the movie but I can't even count how many times I have started to read those books. I love that Harry Potter is magical and made up. But I know it is just a book and I guess I like because it is fantasy, it's stuff that can't happen in real life.
