Harper's Island

I saw some guy squirting blood from his leg, but can't for the life of me understand how it happened; & Tricia (?) swimming with the blow-up doll nearly drowning. :shifty:
Oh, & Abby hugged her ex-manfriend. *wagglewaggle*

If anyone can give me a short review, I'd appreciate it. :)

The heavy set guy (sorry, I can't remember his name, but he reminds me slightly of Hurley on lost) was trying to talk Wellington into going in on some kind of beer company or something, but Wellington's son-in-law turned it down.

The guys all take Henry out fishing (big dude, blonde jerky guy, ponytail guy and some dude with glasses named Booth). They find Hunter's boat with his body (head is gone which is funny considering it looked like on the last show that he was shot in the chest :shifty:). They see the money and gun and debate on what to do, ending up taking the bag with money and gun in it.

Trish takes a walk looking for Katharine (her stepmom) and comes upon this old cellar, hearing someone calling for help. She sees Kathrine tied up and starts to go help until Richard (bro in law) comes up behind Katharine and they start kissing. Upset, Trish runs off to Henry crying and telling him what happened.

Shae and Madison (Shea is bride's sis and Maddy is the little girl) go to talk to a psychic about coming to the bacherlorette party and reading the girls' fortunes. When she reads Abby's she runs out of the room, later telling Abby that "he won't stop until you're dead". Or something like that.

Henry tells Richard that Trish saw Richard with Katherine and is freaking out about Shae and what it would do to her if she found out. Henry says what if Wellington found out. Richard told him to tell him and see what happens.

The guys want to hide the money cause they think its drug money and that the drug dealers have come for it. They draw "straws" to see who has to be the one to hide it and Booth loses. He goes to hide the money, its dark and he's in the woods. He hears something, points the gun (that was found with the money) and it's just the big guy whose name I still cannot remember. I only remember Booth cause of Booth on Bones. Anyway, we suddenly hear a shot. Big guy thinks he's shot but then realizes he's not. He and Booth laugh, then they notice Booth's leg is bleeding. Seems he might have accidently shot himself. But, where the bullet went it, I think it hit an artery cause he's bleeding really badly.

Oh and Maddy tells Abby that she won't get to be a flowergirl. Abby says who told her and she says the spirits did.

And Trish and Shae's mother's china was set out on the tables at the reception hall and was somehow destroyed and no one saw or heard anything.

Abby goes to Jimmy's after the psychic tells her that someone won't stop killing others until he gets Abby. She's scared and near tears and Jimmy hugs her.

Oh and the guys discover that the dudes they thought were the drug dealers after the money are only the bodyguards for the stripper they hired for Henry's bachelor party. It turned out that the stripper was some girl Henry had known since the girl was like ten, so he had to cover his eyes.

Booth dies in the other guy's arms (the guy who was with him when he got shot), but the other guy doesn't tell anyone that Booth is dead. He tells them he passed out and hasn't seen Booth. Then we see him later in his room and he's got the money bag and pushes it under his bed.

Trish decides to go for a swim in the pool. She goes under the water and the cover starts to go over the pool and she's trapped. Richard jumps in, pulls her out and starts to give her mouth-to-mouth and she spits out all the water. Henry runs over and asks if she's okay and pulls her into his arms. Richard says it's a good thing he was there and saw her or it could have been very bad. So, I guess he's going to see it as they owe him for saving her, so they should keep quiet about his affair.

^^^ Thanx for the review. I don't quite understand why the guys wouldn't have told somebody that they found Hunter's dead body :wtf:
I may just have to see if it's on On Demand so I don't have to bug you -- I have far too many questions.

They didn't tell because they wanted to keep the money he had with him, methinks. I actually kind of drifted in and out of paying attention during this episode for some reason.

I kept thinking "doesn't Henry recognize Hunter" until it showed the body and I realized the head was basically gone, so he wouldn't have been able to identify him.

Yeah, it's so weird that it looked like he was shot in the chest and then on the next ep, the majority of his face is gone.

Ooooh, new theory: Maybe Hunter isn't really dead and the scene where he was "shot" was to throw us off (Kind of like Billy being stabbed by ghostface in the first scream movie only to turn out to be one of the killers). Maybe the body in the boat was someone else and Hunter's really the killer.

^Shot off by the shotgun, I'm guessing. No?

I don't think the killer would go back to the boat, just to chop off his head. There's no use in that for him/her, right?

EDIT: @GNRF: I don't think Hunter's the killer. I think the killer has to have a connection to the island, and Hunter's an outsider, so that doesn't add up.
I'm still not trusting Abby :shifty:

I rewatched the part where Hunter gets shot. There's no indication he was shot in the chest (or in his head for that matter). So it could be both.

Yeah, and his head isn't missing- his face is just gone. And don't forget there were a bunch of birds around the boat. They tend to do nasty things to corpses... (See, my years of CSI are starting to pay off!)

Well yeah, I meant to say face, not head. Although in one shot it looked kind of like his head was missing from his neck, but that could have just been the angle.

Good point about the birds. I had forgotten about them.

Is it possible that there are two killers?

Hunter could have a connection to the Island that we don't know though. He could be related to Wakefield. He's probably really dead, but I'm just saying nothings really that concrete in these kinds of stories. Personally, as much of a creep as Hunter was I'm kind of sad they killed him off so soon cause Victor Webster (the actor who played Hunter) is really hot. Although every time I see him I can't help but think "It's Brennan Mulwray!" (That was his character on Mutant X).

I still think Richard and Wellington are good suspects though. But, if Wellington killed Hunter, wouldn't he have taken that money back somehow? that's what makes me think there might be two killers.

The death of Booth, we can't really call him one of the killer's victims because he accidently shot himself. The killer had nothing to do with it.

See, this is what I get for not tuning in & only going by reviews -- I imagined the head being completely shot off & it flew into the water

I'm with you there. I don't have much to back it up except for that she's the least expected, & she could easily have major mental issues.

Man, I was just too tired to stay up and watch the new episode last night... did anyone catch it? I'll probably check it out online tomorrow. I know who I'm hoping gets killed off, but...?

Oh I forgot... apparently we here in Canada are the only ones who get them on Thursday nights. Any Canucks manage to check it out last night?

Anyone watch the new ep the other day?

For the previews, it said the next new ep wouldn't be for two weeks. Anyone know why that is?

I missed the last two eps because of work and other obligations. What happened? I'm alright with being spoiled because at this rate I'm going to miss a lot of the eps. :shifty:
