ROFL!!! Love the scene there. Man would it be funny if Gina heard that...and that's as far as I go on that subject, lest I breaka any rules.

*Nod* Bet I know a bunch of fangirls who'd gladly give him said therapy :D We'd know how to make him relax and have fun

*Ring*
SARA: Hello?
*heavy breathing*
SARA: Hello?
*dial tone*
lol. i would really like to see him drunk though. i mean, he would be more opened up and sociable. and if he was with one of the CSIs or Brass, well, he would likely overtalk about Sara and we would possibly have The Reveal.

i seriously wonder how are they going to do this, let the team know i mean. i see some options but it has to be in a pure CSI style. so i'm raising another question under discussion, which we talked about thoroughly during the summer break but since there is more people now, and S7 opened new ways, we may have some new ideas. so, how do y'all think GSR should be uncovered to the team, when, and to whom first? anyone?

changing the subject, i've got a feeling we won't get a kiss until the finale. it's just my intuition, after we all had a couple of GSR-scarce eps lately. scarce in the meaning there IS some GSR but not enough for some shippers to be satisfied, like me for instance. i don't know, LLV makes a great oportunity for a kiss, but i'm not seeing it all in such a positive light after the last episodes. CSI always did too little than too much in case of personal plots. but, who knows?
Something tells me WP nixed that within the first script read. lol.

CAROL M: It would be hilarious
BILLY: No.
CAROL M: C'mon - it's totally something Grissom would do.
BILLY: No.
CAROL M: But...
BILLY: NO.
another thing i can be thankful to him. *bows*
There was a Grissom/Sara scene that got cut, but by all accounts it wasn't going to be some earth-shattering revelation. Just them analyzing the evidence.
the one there is a promo pic from, when they almost hold hands? i wish it aired *gasps*
Sara brought Grissom a smile. And, they were TOTALLY flirty in this episode. It was adorable. That gives me some hopes for LLV.
oh, i agree 'Lyssa. we could just see the shift on his face. okay, but i made an icon from the "see how it feels" scene, and this time it's not too big to put as an avie (less than 60 kb), like the GSR kiss one. i'm not very good at making animated ones, but i just couldn't resist on this one.

ETA:
i recently read this fic by sweet-surrender5 and i gotta say it's a really good short study of Grissom's mind before the sabbatical, also containing GSR - "Revelations", so i recommend it.

okay i'm going to sleep, it's like 2.30 am. peace.

Of course, Sarah, because you know all about earth-shattering revelations... THAT AREN'T TRUE.

*Glares* I hate you.

CAROL M: It would be hilarious
BILLY: No.
CAROL M: C'mon - it's totally something Grissom would do.
BILLY: No.
CAROL M: But...
BILLY: NO.
CAROL M: Jorja, what do you think?
JORJA: MY HONEY-BEAR IS NOT DOING TAI-CHI!
CAROL M: *backs away* okay! okay!

...I'm actually backing away from my computer screen right now.

BY THE WAY ; I think we've established the fact that Sara saying 'See how it feels' was cute, okay?

WE ALL KNOW.

LOL. We shall all conform!!!

I do think it was cute, and I do think that she was flirting, but I also think Grissom is, in the back of his mind, still going, "Dear GOD I have no idea how secure I am about this".

Also, as for that last scene, I didn't think Sara was on another page. I mean, Catherine was in there laughing at something that earlier Gil had been laughing at as well. So, when he got all serious, that seemed strange to her. For Sara, she walked in, and the mood was serious. She had no clue what the two of them had been talking about, hence her look to Cath as if to say "What the?" Then, she continued on her high because she knew she was the bearer of good news (at least, in her mind based on the evidence). And, that really did cheer up Grissom. The look he gave her was a mix of pleasure at the thought of catching the killer, and almost a, "Thanks, dear. I needed that." I really don't think it was a matter of Gil and Sara being on two different pages. Sometimes, when my darling is sad, I come in being super goofy to make him laugh. I know he feels bad, but I also know joy is contagious.

Well, that's true. And to be honest, I don't mind that TPTB have finally rekindled the bond that Catherine and Grissom share. Much as I love GSR, it was good to see him interacting on an emotional level with someone else.

Especially since he was so down about things. And really, I think Grissom was in a way kind of censuring Catherine for her laughter, and she diverted it when she realized something else was wrong.

I think someone wrote a fic like that that went,

BRASS: But she's SO hot.
GRISSOM: I know.
BRASS: ...you're a dumbass.

how do y'all think GSR should be uncovered to the team, when, and to whom first?

It's going to be someone like Brass. Because he'll make light of it rather than acting "betrayed" or "shocked" the way I think Warrick or Nick or Greg or Catherine would.

My work here is done.

My work here is done, plus a bonus.

What The Catherine-Grissom Office Scene SHOULD Have Been

CATHERINE: You look tired.
GRISSOM: Yeah.
CATHERINE: Why?
GRISSOM: Well...
[SARA runs in]
GRISSOM: Well, hello Sara.
CATHERINE: wtf? You didn't answer my question!
GRISSOM: Oh yes, I did.
SARA: What?
CATHERINE: o_O
[Scene ends]

Oh yes, that- would have been entertaining.. but so not something CSI would do. :p

I actualy think it should be cath, even though she dosnt necessarily like sara, she is realy close to grissom.and she also would understand the whole falling for coworker/age differences(although hers is more of a 7-year-ish age difference)althogh after the laughing thing i dont exactly trust her*shifty eyes*

WE ALL KNOW.

Ok. i finaly know what yall are talking about. the exact moment i tuned in i heard "how it feels" in her flirtatious voice, and hadn’t a clue what she was talking about(my dirty mind had some ideas though  )

HMMMM. I think they all already know.. if you worked with these two for 7 years, and saw what we see, wouldn't you know? Their just all very discreet!!!

^^
I kind of agree.
If someone like warick where to find out he would keep it to him self.
cath, being a good friend to gil, would pobubly confront him, but not blab to everyone else.
Nick I think would let them keep it private.
But greg would go blab it to the whole wide world.

Cute pic desertwind, my two fav ships!

Conversation that Zigs and I had for a while last night because we were really tired and feelin' bored, but basically something I was curious about for this group in general. So I've polled it.

Yay! Poll time. I picked two, because I am happy with the occasional flirting, but I’m not to happy with the things that are fuzzy in meaning (i.e. the pumpkin). And they seem to be at a stand still, relationship wise, but close to possibly going bad (presuming he hasn’t told her about Williams and the leave.)

I picked three, but I'll fully admit that it likely has more to do with the fact that I've kind of gotten sucked into the negativity cycle on a few other boards.

Which I plan to break.

...maybe.

lol.

But my point is more that I think that they've given us all the fluff we can muster. I want some real scenes now.

Especially before he leaves and we have ONE episode to go.

I put "Other" because, while I'm not bored with the GSR relationship, I'm starting to get.. complacent. I'm just so sick of being on the yoyo, wondering if Gil is going to do right by her with the Williams stuff, and if TPTB will stage some stupid, out of character breakup for the sake of ratings.. It's not about GSR being "stale." It's about me starting to just not care as much because I don't want my heart broken. I don't want TPTB to rip the carpet out from underneath me because people are complaining about the ship, or blaming it for the drop in ratings.

I'm just at the point where I was last year, mid season six, where I started to not care about the show anymore because I was just so sick of the back and forth. I mean, gosh, the show has been so much better this season, and I am GRATEFUL for EVERY OUNCE of GSR we've been given. I just think it's all the other stuff, the politics of show business, that is totally killing it for me. I wish I could just blindly enjoy the 'ship without fear of consequences from writers and producers obsessed with money making rather than quality programming, but I can't trust TPTB because of their past history. I want to trust them, but I just can't.

So, I'm hardening my heart towards this show, right now. It's not intentional, but it's like I'm protecting myself. We have a month to wait to see what happens with Williams and GSR and all that, and though LoMo didn't seem to spell "DOOOOM" for our duo, I'm more confident that TPTB will pull a ratings stunt rather than seeing it through to the end. I guess I've just had too many ships ripped out from under me in the eleventh hour to have any confidence in CSI's TPTB whose track record is questionable to begin with.

Do I sound bitter? I don't mean to, I'm just preparing myself for the worst... And, no, there are no spoilers to indicate this. It's just my own paranoia and fears regarding TPTB.

Editied because there's an "l" in complacent.

Oh, COMPLETELY agreed. I think that's the bigger problem. It's hard to enjoy these little cute moments when you're going, "But what if he really just leaves her when it comes time to go and tells her, like, HOURS beforehand?"

So I think I'm sort of waiting for TPTB to... screw up? lol.

It's not really fair, but it's true.

I'm very worried that they're going to play this thing badly. Yes, Grissom DEFINITELY needs time off and I support this storyline, but not if it means that Sara is strung along and then dropped. She's been far too happy this season.

I love it!! keeping it subtle .. not 'shoving down our throats".. it's CSI, not the GSR show.. since S/6 Way To Go" I'm satisfied with knowing their together.. and that's enough with the little hints, and clues they give us :p

i picked no. 2. i seriously doubt there is going to be any shift in their relationship in terms of a break up or anything similar. we need to remember this show is not about GSR, if writers want to boost their ratings, they will figure out an amazing POTTR-like, shocking case. i don't believe they would want to get more people to the screens by making Grissom and Sara argue/break up or whatever.

nevertheless i'm pretty sure we won't get a straight answer to many of the questions we are now asking. we may never know when he told her about Williams, when he made his decision to leave, and how Sara reacted. d'oh, we may not even get a goodbye scene at all.

if the writers want to react in favor of anti-GSR people, they won't break GSR up, but give us less shippy scenes. breaking them up would be IMO the stupidest thing they can do right now. it would just lower their ratings significantly.

i cannot say anything about this negativity y'all are talking about, b/c i don't go on other boards, i don't read anti-GSR threads, neither do i read far-future spoilers which may never come true. so nothing is rottening my fun with GSR, i have a blast to be honest. it doesn't mean that the present developement is something absolutely perfect, no. i think if we won't get anything new, it will get stale (if it's not already).

another thing is that TPTB are building this anxiousness, this impatience, maybe suspence around the geeks. we practically don't know nothing at all about their relationship and i really want to know more, see more. so i guess the way they extend our waiting for something important to happen, is only in their benefit. the more we wait, the bigger the scene will be in our eyes. thus, the trick is to find the "golden mean".

Well... while Grissom and Sara may never sit down and go, "Darling, do you remember how you pinned me against the side of the Denali passionately and we made love in your apartment later that evening when we all got back from the hospital from visiting Nick and you said, 'Let's date for the next year and a half'" I DO think that asking whether or not Sara knows about Williams is valid.

Only because... while the nature of when the relationship started may be an awkward thing to script, I think that her knowing or not knowing before the team would not.
