Gilmore girls

I love this show. Let's see if we can get some discussion going, shall we?

There's so much going on this season. What are your thoughts about:
Lorelai and Christopher?
Lorelai and Luke?
Rory and Logan?
Suki having another baby?
Lane having twins?
What will said twins names be (speculaltion only!)
Where will Rory get a job?

I've heard that there will be another season, but it's just a rumour. Has anyone else heard anything?

I've heard that there probably won't be another season. Apparently Alexis Bledel doesn't want to do another season and Lauren Graham won't continue without her. I read that online somewhere, so it's only rumor once again.

Personally, I'm a fan of Lorelai and Luke. I hope they get back together before the show ends!
 
I've thought for awhile now that this would be the last season. It just seems like a logical place to leave it. That's why I was surprised and skeptical about the rumour I heard.
 
actually i don't really like luke and lorelai together. they should have remained only friends.
i was very surprised that lane is pregnant, that came out of nowhere!
 
Well folks, that's it. No more Gilmore Girls. All good things must come to an end... but it's really sad. This was an incredable show. It had a good run.

Any thoughts on the finale?
 
I did not like the season finale of Gilmore Girls. I was kind of hoping for seeing Luke and Lorelai get married. I didn't want them to end with Rory leaving and Luke cooking food. I wanted the mtot be happy. Luke should have been sitting with them. It should not end. Gilmore Girls was my only non-crime scene show. I am going to miss it. They are going to make a tv movie though. Did Rory accept Logan's proposal I only aw the last five minutes of the finale. I do not like Logan, he is a spoiled rich jerk that gets his daddy to take care of all of his messes. I liked Rory with Dean, he was sweet and nice. He lived with their sarcasm, plus he fit in with Lorelai and Rory. I don't think Rory should date someone rich, because that makes her seem snobby like her grandparents, she should date someone poor like that guy that went with her and Logan on a date and couldn't pay for his food. Her dating a rich guy is like the cheerleader always dating a jock. I think Rory is too good for Logan.
 
Logan is a jerk isn't he. That is why I hate him. His parents are really rude and snobby, I think that is what he will turn out to be unless he becomes broke but with his parents I doubt he will ever be broke. Did Rory say yes to Logan's proposal? I missed that episode.
 
No, Rory ended up saying no, that she wasn't ready, and so Logan broke up with her.

I couldn't stand Logan at first, but I've sorta warmed up to him now. I didn't really see them lasting forever though.
 
I like Jess better than I like Logan, but I ike Dean better than Jess. I thought Jess was a little mean especially to Rory, but I didn't watch too many epsiodes with him in it, so I don't know. I thought Dean was a nice guy though. ;)
 
OMG I had no idea there was a Gilmore thread. :)

Thank goodness for the ABC channel airing Gilmore girls episodes. I got hook to the show when my Sis watched the Gilmore marathon. Then I slowly caught on.....yay! :thumbsup:

That said, I love Luke & Lorelai! :drool: Some say they should have remained friends but we know all along they would be more than "just friends" right?

Like most fans of the show, I was also disappointed with the Series Finale!

It just left me hanging.....was that really, really The END?!

Anyway, thank god for DVDs!!!!! Lorelai keeps me laughing! :lol:

They are going to start showing re-runs on the Soap Network soon. Not sure when but soon.
