great :( sofia wont be appearing secrets and flies again according to csifiles ....i havent seen her since shooting stars...oh well theres always a bullet runs through it.. :D

Now that was a great scenario except for the last line, so don't mind my tweaking.

So there he is sitting behind a mound of files when she comes in and perches herself on his side of the desk. He confides in her that he is worried that the evidence is not going where he wants it to go. He is upset enough that he can't even look her in the eyes. Sofia cups his face and forces Gil to look in the eyes, their faces are only about 10 inches. She tells him not to worry about her and to not do anything to jeopardize his career because she understands how important his job is to him. Just as you think they may be leaning in for a kiss ....

Sofia backs away to avoid an embarrassing situation at work. With a sly smile she says, "When this sort of thing happened to me on a case, I always found a good dose of comfort food was called for. A large glass of wine and a pizza always did the trick."

Gil understanding why she backed away and how this was an invitation to continue away from prying eyes. "Does your corner pizzeria deliver?"

Sofia's blue eyes hold the gaze of Gil's blue eyes, "Why yes they do and I have the perfect Merlot to accompany it."

With a smirk, "Then I'm in desperate need of a dose of comfort food, if you don't mind?"

Standing up, Sofia extends a hand, "I don't mind at all."

Gil deliberately places his right hand into Sofia's - fade to black
 
tazzer! tt was sweet..you should start writing gofia fanfics again...especially when there are so few gofia ones around..
 
Yes I know Arturtle I should get going on the new story to pick up where I left off.

To be honest, I've been busy with other things as well as waiting for some new inspiration (both from the show and another real-life topic to explore. I don't want to write just smut, but would like to impart a life lesson or knowledge within it).

With the holidays coming up, I'm really inspired to write that Gil/Cath & Lily/Sam story, since I need a good laugh during the dreaded holiday season.

Viva Goifa Baby hey I almost bought some big fuzzy Ladybug slippers yesterday.

Grissombutterfly couldnt make up her mind which one she wanted for her avatar.

We need to see Sofia in more episodes maybe the reason is they werent sure she was comming back and already had the first ones written so we'll see more of her later lots more I hope.

Thanks Kira, sorry you haven't been able to get around much lately, I sure miss ya.

Grissombutterfly don't have to make up her mind, that's the beauty of it - never put all your eggs in one basket. Plus Gil is slightly different around each woman and I like to see all side of him.

I got 4 gourds to finish ASAP so after that I'll think about sitting down and pecking away. Fear not, I have been thinking of different senerios while dog walking, just have to decide on the best.

And let's not forget Teri Miller, the way he looked at her was nothing short of orgasmic. When you take a guys breath away, you've hooked him.

Sofia gives him a run for his money on the intellectual level, like when discussing deep issues like DNA verses personality. She is able to challenge his opinions in a non-combative way. Gil is the type of guy that appreciates being able to have these types of mature discussion with a beautiful woman (*Lady Heather*). It’s not by accident that they have shown these two interacting this way on a number of shows, thus building a strong/respectful friendship.

You took the words right out of my mouth, Tazzer. That's exactly the way I feel too, about Gil's interactions with women and particularly Sofia. I don't think it's accident that they have thrown Gil & Sofia together on several occasions and shown them getting along and seeming to inspire eachother both intellectually and, as I see it, physically/emotionally too. Greatly looking forward to what the writers have in store for us Sofia/Gil fans!
 
MBG I hope you weren't chewing on anything when I took those words, ha.

It's not by accident either (that whoever is in charge of that show has continued) the frostyness from last season between Gil & Cath going this season.

It's not by accident that Brass is giddy when Det. Curtis meets up with Dr. Grissom in the hallways at PD.

It's not an accident that we haven't seen much of Sofia as they don't want to OD viewers on her character, so when the two-part show comes on, it will be a surprise for the majority of CSI viewers.

The key to winning Gil's attention/heart is the comfort level he feels with a woman. Guys don't like to be around prickly women especially if they have a stressful job. Like Dr. Phil says, you want/expect your parnter to be your safe place to fall after a long day. Gil's comfort around Sofia is just what the doctor ordered.
 
I just watched Formalities and I just loved the looks he was giving Sofia.

I figure he was either in awe of her or tring to figure out if she was wearing any underwear under the coveralls. :lol: :devil:

ooo..i was watching formalities on cable tv too!haha...i loved the way he looked at her when she started talking to herself...and how she said that ecklie said he had a weird sense of humour :D
 
Gil does have a weird sense of humor, but that makes him even funnier, at least to me. I'm sure Ecklie always over exaggerated whenever he spoke about Griss to his team.

I have to agree with Sofia, thongs are scary and also bad for female hygiene.

Can we please have a bone tonight? How about just a little ogling.

Aaaaaah, Tazzer, great artwork! Love the caption, too! Yes, he did bestow the lovely Sofia with quite a few "looks" during Formalities, didn't he? umbrello, love the idea of him wondering throughout the case if she really were wearing panties under her jumpsuit! LOL. He might not always be the most outgoing guy, but he's still a guy, so I'm sure he was, considering she's gorgeous and he was obviously physically attracted from the get-go! Tazzer's piccie clearly shows one of the several scenes during which he was sizing her up. Can't wait for the 2-parter!
