Gil & Sofia #2-Let's have dinner. Shall we?

Tazzer, love the puckered lips you caught on Gil here. It almost looks like Oooooh would come rolling out of his mouth. Something tells me that dress on Sofia has rendered him speechless. More caps please. :) ;) I agree, this episode needs plenty of attention.
 
I could watch that "Fomalities" episode at last and...WOW!

Oh Kira & the rest of ya'll, you have got to watch Formalities in slo-mo it is a hoot. He's practicality drooling the whole time and can't keep his eyes or mind off of her. :)

LSB would you be so kind and give us a blow by blow account of him playing with his tie on the balcony while she's undressing.

Gotta bring this Killer pic down into this thread too because Sofia needs a CSI, and we all know which one.

Tazzer, my pleasure to give the bow tie account from the balcony scene in Formatlites. Take Taz's advise. I watched Formalities scenes in slow mow. It is incredible!

If Gilbert Grissom had not had that bow tie, I think he may have exploded during the balcony scene. We first see him talking to Brass. Sofia off in he corner begining to put the jumpsuit on, uniforms brought up to her. He is training all his effort into talking to Brass, although I don't believe he is comprehending a word out of his mouth. This is the point where we see him take the bow tie off initially.

So, he slides the bow tie off and the fun begins. This is the advantage of watching a show in extreme slow motion. I never noticed how much action that tie got in his hands. He first starts slipping it through his fingers. Made me think of "Butterflied" when he loved the silk ties under the victims bed. Hmmm..him thinking of a bed while a sexy woman is changing right near him. He, he.

Now he is still taking to Brass this whole time. Brass keeps peeping over at Sofia. Grissom is doing all in his power not to crack and take a peep. So the bow tie becomes his life line. He starts cranking it in circles. Then he looks down and studies it while swinging it back and forth. Then he strokes the material again. Becoming more frustrated cause Brass keeps looking at Sofia, he begins swinging it out from his body. Then he brings it back in close fondling it in his hands again.

Finally he breaks and has to look at Sofia. Even after this though he uses that tie as a control factor. When she spouts the line after she has the jumpsuit on, "Don't worry, I am wearing underwear, as far as you know," in the corner of the screen that tie is moving in his hands again. Like if he lets go of that tie, he will ravish her on the spot. That tie become is security blanket.

Thanks LSB for that fantastic description of that scene. Yes there are many layers of meanings in this show that can be missed on a normal viewing. How he is handling that bowtie (thanks to your observations) to me is as close to, ahhhh, don't think I can go there, but insert your own adjective for him playing with it instead so something else.

After watching him do that tie play, it is now apparent why Sofia had to glue the thing into shape. The poor fabric was worn down to just threads. :lol:
 
Ha, no problemo, just glad I got around to making new caps off the better quality dvds.

Well, I'm not ready to jump ahead yet, I got too many good pics from Formalities and we're not even past the first 10 minutes. :lol: Besides, Gil is soo getting off on her dress or lack of it, so....

Tazz, wow what can I say. Great job on the caps..the one of Billy holding his tie.. wow to die for..and yes he was checking her out in the one above.. GREAT CAP!!! Love it.

And I see LSB has learned very well from Coolc, fixating on that bowtie, hmmm, I know what you're buying for V-day.

I figured out why we see so little of Gil and Sofia together, Brass knows there in a relationship so he won't assign her to any cases that has Grissom in it. It'll be a case of only if no one else is avaliable will the two of then end up on a case together.
 
Yeah, I've been thinking that too Kira. Jimbo hooked them up, but now he figured out no work would get done if they were allowed to work cases together. Their chemistry is too hot. But still, ya can't be mad at the Brass-man for that since he was the one that brought Sofia back to Vegas. He does love to play cupid :devil:
 
Kira, Taz , I agree, Brass must get credit for bringing Sofia back to Vegas.

Taz , I am begining to think I do have a bowtie fixation. I knew watching Gil in slow motion was going to damage my brain. Ha, but in a good way. I think you are right I need a pack of bow ties for Valentines Day. Send one to all the Gil/Sofia shippers. Then make them watch Formalities in slow motion and learn the proper way to fondle a tie from Gil. :lol:
