Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

The one part I did love about that scene was the begining where Cath enthusiastically greets Hank the dog (btw I still can't wrap my head around why the writers decided to name him after Sara's idiot ex-boyfriend). It was like when she greeted the dog, she had known him for a long time, which I think is telling. It was also nice to see how at home Catherine was in the apartment.
Yeah I loved that too cause it lets you know that she's been to his apartment plenty of times to get to know his dog, I mean what more could a man want? I bet they've even took Hank for his walk together.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

I'm not sure they named the dog after Sara's ex lol. The current writers are not the same writers that wrote for the early seasons and I doubt they'd think of making a reference of a role that only appeared in a handful of episodes. They probably had even forgotten that such a character ever existed. lol. Just my two cents. :)

Seeing as we have 900 replies now, it's probably time to think about a title for our next thread. Any ideas? :)

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

And I read that it was Billy's wife that suggested that Bruno be in the show.

As for new Thread names... how about... "He shares his apartment with her" from the recent episode. I thought it was cute anyway.
Overall it was good, I liked to see someone else (other than Catherine) pushing at Grissom.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

You know what...after watching the episode, I actually wasn't mad that they deleted that scene at all.

Heather, it was definitely a different place. Honestly I don't think they could re-set Gil's townhouse after all these years. Maybe it was just easier to give him a new apartment. lol. I don't like this new set, though. Don't get the logic of whoever decided to have that set. The locations of the living room and the kitchen just seemed odd, and a closet in the living room? I'd buy it if it's where his coats and umbrellas go, but I saw suits there.

I agree, the deleted scene wouldn't fit with the storyline. It was an interesting soap moment.

As for Grissom's place, didn't like it at all. :scream: That was not
Grissom's style. Isn't he suppose to like "Fine things?"

Awww Bruno was cute! I just can't call him the other name. It isn't right.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

I agree about Grissom's apartment. It doesn't suit him at all, and looks nothing like what he'd have. I expected him with a much warmer and finer decorations than that. Maybe it's just a stop gap between places?

And that's another thing - why in heaven's name would they name the poor dog after Sara's boyfriend? I mean really. That's just wrong.

As for title names:

G <3 C : Because they share apartments
G <3 C : Seek and ye shall find
G <3 C : Because they can't stand being apart
G <3 C: It's always there
G <3 C: Simmering, brewing and loving
G <3 C: Because they can't help themselves
G <3 C: Sexing up the City of Sin
G <3 C: Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas

Eh, I should stop now. LOL

Of all the names to choose.
I'm sticking with "Bruno."

Drumchik I love "Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas"
That gets my vote! :p

^ Aw you made those? They're awesome. I really like them a lot. Hope we'll get to see more from you, MelC. :)

WP, I think it's a good idea to stick with "Bruno" lol. At least this name sounds so much cuter than Hank. :D

Great title suggestions Heather and Anne. You gals always get the best ideas. ;)

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

Those are some great icons MelC. I snagged a few, hope you don't mind. I'll give you credit.:)

Oh boy, time for a new thread title...I gotta say I think I like "Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas" the best...that's the truth if I've ever heard it! They've got enough to power Vegas and then some.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

MelC those icons are totally fab, snagged them, will credit you of course when I use them. :D Oooh Anne, I really like the titles for the next thread... Erm... I love them all, but my fave is "Sexing up the City of Sin", but I also like "Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas", it's a close 2nd. :D

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

Re Grissom's apartment....ok, the kitchen area is identical to his other apartment, so it looks like they re-used stuff from the other set. But what gives? What happened to Grissom we all knew? and why would he have a dog, *sigh* His apartment is so out of character, its not even funny. They managed to make the most unique tv characters into....well, a normal cliche male character that is found in every tv drama.

and naming his dog Hank....i find really creepy. If tptb think that is continuity, Vegas is doomed :wtf:

I am kind of glad they cut the scene with Catherine, just because of the GSR part of them being in SF, that would be lame.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

I really like the title "Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas." So true.

I don't know, I could see Grissom having a dog. He seems like a dog person (but I highly doubt he would name it Hank. That's be like him and Catherine getting a dog and calling it Eddie). But yeah his apartment (even though it should be townhouse) didn't suit him at all. Where are his bugs and other creepy crawlies? And that awesome couch that we saw Catherine curl up on all those years ago? I miss his old place, at least the little snippets we got. That was good enough for me. That place at least was in his character.

xfcanadian lmao. Vegas would seriously be doomed if tptb ran the place.

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

*giggles at the thought of Gil's dog being called Eddie* Sorry, but I find that so funny.

And yes, I miss his bugs and creepy crawlies (wow, never thought I'd say that) and where is the COUCH?

And closet in the hallway? A little odd...

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

My icons are completely snaggable. Credits are appreciated. :)

and I totally agree that Hank is a very weird (not to mention inappropriate) name for Gil's dog. Naming it Eddie will be hilarious!

As for his bugs... maybe he kept it away so that Cath will visit more often???!!! *ahem*

Re: Gil<3Cath #28: Love Is Sharing Water, Glasses and Everything

Hehe that's our hope as to why we didn't see any... *Day dreams* I seen the ep last night and I have to say that I didn't really like it... Definitely not as good as the rest of the season in my opinion... I think it would have been better if they have of kept the scene with Cath coming to his appartment... But that's just me.
