Well I'm having fun reading all your little comments and yeah they sound good to me!! I can't believe we still haven't got any good G/C scenes still... Aww it annoys me... Well I haven't seen the season 8 premier yet, I don't know where my dad put the dvd, but I'll watch it tonight and report back with what I think... lol!!

^ Despite the many lame parts that annoyed me in the season premiere, there was one thing I liked about it...that Catherine was there for Gil throughout the entire mess, and that Gil actually let her see the part of him that was vulnerable. I'm hoping for a change after the writers' strike ends and everybody goes back to work, but um hoping is hoping, I don't really expect it. lol.

The premeire was okay. I liked the fact that there was very little dialouge. The Cath/Gil scene was sweet. He asked "where is she Catherine?" Gil needed Cath and she was right there.

The Cross Dressing Carp episode had the best line so far in "Do I know how to turn you on, or what?"

^Haha, that line is definately one of the best. I think it's in the top ten of the best GC moments of all time. What I liked most about that line, besides the fact that it's true, is the timing of it in the ep. That line alone stopped me from turning off my TV.

I liked how Cath was there for him, despite the fact that she probably was a bit blind-sided by the revelation plus she was probably a little annoyed with more of his hypocritical behavoiur. I'm glad she was there for him...even though it would have been highly entertaining to see Cath slap him.

^ Lol it may well have been entertaining, but I don't think I'd have like that. =P I watched the ep, as as strong as my dislike for Sara is, the episode was pretty moving. I loved how Cath there for Gris, I really wanted her to give him a hug... Sadly that didn't happen.

Anyways... How many eps of this season have been shot and aired?

Last night's ep, Bull was the last episode that was shot before the strike.

I'm really starting to get frustrated with the show. They were together for two scenes and barely made eye contact. I think TPTB know about the mind sex.

Am i grasping at straws or did anybody else notice how when Gil was reading the cowboy's love poem, he looked up and directly at where Cath was sitting? It didn't show her face, but from where his eyes darted to when he was reading in relation to where she was sitting in his office, he could have looked at her.

OT- Aww, Cath cried in Brokeback Mountain. BTW, how many diff types of men has she dated? There was Eddie the music producer, Chris the club owner, the construction dude, a mascot named Dutch, a geology TA, and now a cowboy. I betcha the entomologist is her favourite by far.

I could picture though, Cath watching Brokeback Mountain wiht Gil. How cute would that be!

DIdn't notice that Gil was looking at her after reading the poem, but I was happy that we had another scene with the two of them at least in the same room.

Feeling very cheated out of my GC scenes. Not just because they're my ship, but because they're like, the face of CSI. You see them the most on the ads, and they're always together. And then when you watch CSI, you're like, "Wait, do those two even work together?" It's sad.

I noticed that! Gil looked at Cath when he was reciting the "but I pray the Lord above that one day you'll come back to me" line.

That was the first thing I noticed too as I was watching it. They both had smiling/contemplative expressions on their faces, and Gil also seemed amused that Cath & Nick were doing the back-and-forth discussions of the poem to begin with on who it was about.

I have to confess that I knew the poem was going to be about the bull as soon as I heard Cath start to read it in the hotel. (I've read too many Harlequin romance books and a lot of them include cowboys)

I totally agree with you Purejoylove. I have only started watching... Well ok, I started in the summer, but it has become obsessive watching in the past few weeks, and I've seen the ads, and on all of the British DVD boxes, Cath and Gil are on the front, but when you watch they are hardly ever together... It sucks... I need some Grillows cuteness. <3 I need to read a fic...

I did notice Gil was looking in Cath's direction when he was reading the poem. That's a good sign. That whole scene with Cath and Nicky in Gil's office was very much like the first few seasons with everyone talking about the case.

For some reason I thought Cath and Gil would be working together more on this case. I could have just imagined the lines that could have come out of Cath's mouth. Similar to the one-liners in Fur and Loathing

Aww, I really wanna see this ep now, what number is it in the series? I wish the strike was over, it is really interupting my viewing pleasures, even though I live in the Uk, but that's because all the shows I watch are American Imports... Aww well, I love American tv, CSI = The Prime Example. Hehe.

Wow...I so did not notice the eyes when he was reading the poem. I think that's more on Billy's part and his desire to look at Marg more than anything. >_< But of course, if we want to be really shippy we could say that Gil was hinting at something there? :lol: Yay Billy <3 Marg. Hated how Cath and Gil were on the opposite sides of the investigation although it was the same case. (sigh)

Is there any talk of a solution with the WGA? I don't know how much I can live on without a deadline for the episodes at all. I really don't think I can wait indefinitely for an episode of CSI.
