Gil <3 Cath #29: PureJoy–Enough Chemistry to Power Vegas

Can't remember the name but it had Cath going to a bar after work, meeting a guy who wrote his work number on a matchbook, walked her out to their car, they made out, she left, and then he became a suspect in a case. His name was Adam Novack (I don't know if that's how it's spelled), but it turned out that Alice's ex (the first victim) did it. xD

I bet they would, but then there's the worry that their child would run/walk into it and hurt themselves. :lol:

Yeah, it might be a hazard for their little ones.:lol:........Oh yeah, I think that was Weeping Willows...I love that scene when her and Gil are listening behind the glass and he asked her if Adam hit her. He had so much concern in his voice and the look on his face was full of hurt, but at the same time, a little bit of anger too because of the possibility that he hit her. There's just so much emotion between them in that scene and beautifully done by both Billy and Marg.

I don't know why, but I get the feeling that both Gil and Cath (especially Gil) have some Irish blood. :lol: We know Gil isn't of ScAndinavian (sp?) decent cause if he were, he would have put that stuff on his foot instead of Greg's. :lol: I'm thinking Gil could have English decent too.

Now that I think about it, that does seem possible. There was an episode where Gil was commenting on the exact shade of green they found in brain blood (don't ask) and he said something about the luck of the Irish. Hmm, what are Billy and Marg's nationalities? There might be parallels between the characters and actors in that sense.

What are the names of some bugs that would work for a kid's name? I thought I remembered hearing one time that there's a bug called a Hailey bug or something... So if there is, maybe Gil would want to name his daughter Hailey. I don't think that Cath would object to that name. :lol:

Hailey Grissom sounds lovely... Cath won't be put off by it 'cause it's semi-normal. I can just imagine Gil calling his baby girl 'Hailey bug'. That would be so adorable!

Yes, the concern for Cath was evident. He was pissed off at her for involving herself with Adam anyway. Although the flirting between Marg and her real-life husband Alan Roseberg was kind of cute.

I love how Gil gets all possesive and protective of her. That's probably why he made the glass houses comments to her at the end of the episode. He was upset that she wound up in that situation and (knowing Gil) he doesn't know how to say/do things that come out right when it comes to women.

And Hailey Bug is a very, very cute name for Gil and Catherine's child.

I love Gil being protective of Cath. My fave protective moment was when Eddie grabbed Cath and Gil came to her rescue. That was awesome. "Go home, Eddie!" :lol: Gil looked like he was ready to punch Ed. I kind wish he had in a way. :lol: And then didn't Ed say something about how he always thought something was going on between Cath and Gil? :lol:

Aww, I also think that Hailey would be a cute name for Gil and Cath's child, especially cause Gil would call her Hailey bug... Awww, that would be so cute, I can just imagine the scene. Aww... <3

As for a bug-baby (which, btw sounds totally adorable), I did decorate Eliza Grissom's nursery with butterflies. I don't know what the two boys have. Hmm. Shall have to think of that.

It's good to see everyone here being PureJoylike. PureJoy is always there - in any episode. We can get PureJoy moments off air!

Hmm... For a little boy's nursery, I can imagine it being blue and green, with colourful bug stickers around the walls, I can also imagine Gil having a little rant about how they got the colours and shapes of the bugs all wrong, and Cath laughing at him and say "But Honey, it doesn't matter, they're just for a baby's nursery." :lol: That would be such a cute scene. <3 If only...

I can imagine that too... Gil is so particular when it comes to his bugs. He'd probably want his boys to know what real bugs look like instead having them grow up with the cartoon ones in the nursery!

That would be a cute scene aswell, but I'm not sure Cath would be too happy, that he was trying to make their kid love bugs like he does... :lol:

I just love reading those fics about 'Max'. He sure does know how to make people take notice....there's some great fics out there with Gil and Cath having kids that I've read. I think someone should write another one considering I've read all the others. *hint hint all you wonderful writers*

I'm not sure about Billy, but I know that Marg's father was partial German and her mother Irish (probably where Marg's red hair comes from lol). She was born and raised in Nebraska, though. It's interesting to bring up Cath and Gil's ancestries because it makes you wonder where their families or parents came from, especially Sam Braun. LOL. Who knows, he could have had many mob ties all over the world (sorry, I was working on the bio of Marg's role in Ryan's Hope and there was lots of mob stuff :lol.

xxeclipse, you probably misread the title back then. I've been participating in the Gil <3 Cath thread practically from the very start, and I'm sure we haven't had our 31st thread yet. lol. But it seems we aren't far away from it.

He totally would... I think the babies would have their daddy's brains. If that happens, then Cath would say that being head of a houseful of Grissom genii wasn't exactly what she signed up for :lol:!

Yeah, they never talk about the parents... I know that Gil's dad died of heatstroke when he was young and his mom is deaf, but other than that, we don't know much. Hmm, Sam having global mob ties? Cath would probably get a kick out of it after complaining how Lily got 'married' to the mob. One day, TPTB need to give us more background on Gil and Cath's families... something tells me it'll be interesting!
