I was wondering why he was only in the lab last night. About an hour after it ended being in Monaco finally hit me. I'll forgive them a light Nick episode because seeing all those pics and video clips from Monaco was worth it.

The story was definately better than last weeks and I really like seeing Vartann again. Vega and Vartann were my two favorite detectives after Brass.

Jacquie (and anybody else) if you want to see next weeks tan check out pic #10 (I think it is) in my theme pics. :D

Oh now that's why we didn't see Nicky. And hey we got a 40 minute interview of him.

I dono't think they will deal with the issue though. I'll eat my scrubs if they do.

Since we are a less than a week away from Hallowe'en, what do you think a young George might have gone out for Hallowe'en as?? Do you think mom made the customs or did the ever popular thing and buy them. We never bought customs. We always found bits and pieces around the house and made customs that way :)

I would like to have thought that George might have gone out as a Super Hero and probably Spiderman. If he did do that then the custom was probably bought. Oh I would love to see pictures of a young George in his customs  I'm sure he was cute :)

Probably Spiderman. He said he wanted to play him in a movie.

Or he went out as a vampire, a ghost.

Or maybe when he was a baby, his mother dressed him like a pumpkin like a lot of us moms (including me) did.

I think either something classic like a skeleton, mummy or something like that. A superhero of some sort. Or maybe even Evel Knieval since he admits to having that childhood fascination and doing the stunts on his bike. :rommie:

I do think his younger years was probably the more classic costume. Then they changed as he got older and more into the choosing.

Victoria & Christopher started out in those pumpkin costumes. :rommie: The year their mother left we had them as Tigger and Piglet. :rommie:

I kind of picture George dressing up as a cowboy at one point....either the team or the kind that ride horses.

I've often wondered if George ever sported a mullet in his childhood......cause that hairstyle is scary.

Oh probably. He was an eighties kid.

Or the Duran Duran poofy hair look!

Or maybe even the Flock of Seagulls look!:eek::eek:You eighties teens would know what I'm talking about:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Although, his father sounded like a drill sargent-he probably would have made him cut his hair if he came home with the Flock of Seagulls look.

Father Eads frog marches George into a barber shop and shoves him into a chair: Do something about this!

Barber: Yes Sir!

Wasn't he rumored at one point to be in the running to play Superman (or was it batman)? I could see him in either outfit now.

But, he might have also dressed up as Superman or Batman when he was younger. maybe The Hulk? Rambo?

Oh gosh! I don't want to see either of those! To me it would look like he was playing dress up. I still can't stand to look at him as Evel.

I totally agre. It would be so cheesey like Evel. I never watched that movie because the previews had me laughing.

I've never thought of that when Grissom mention Nick was in Monte Carlo last Thursday Night. I forgot that George was in Monoco or something. He looks good in tan.

I agree, SmokaHauntUs, it's almost as bad as the pornstache.

*shivers*

We did not buy costumes either (not with seven kids - my folks would have gone broke!), so I was a ghost (read: old sheet with holes) many a year. Sometimes a floral ghost!

As a kid I could easily see George as a Dallas Cowboy or a real cowboy, or something classic like a vampire, police officer, or clown. It was the early '70s, so I don't think the whole Halloween scene was as branded as it is now (although I could be wrong). In high school I can easily see him doing what my brother did, which was ham it up and go as a cheerleader. Or the Church Lady - he did that one year with great success as he could also imitate Dana Carvey :guffaw:

(And this may be a dumb question but Without-an-E wants to know, is spelling Halloween with an apostrophe between the two Es a Canadian spelling?)

Without-an-E questions are never dumb :) Hallowe'en is a British spelling. Most Canadians spell it Halloween. I read far too many British books which is probably why I spell it Hallowe'en :)

Now I have to ask you ladies again what is wrong the lovely stache :)

Regarding Nick's reaction to Warrick's death and what may or may not happen...

CSI Files: Nick was arguably Warrick's best friend, but thus far we've seen little emotional reaction from him to Warrick's death (save, obviously, for the near-shooting of the Under-sheriff). Can we expect more of a reaction from him down the road?

Rambo:A cathartic breakdown just wouldn't be Nick Stokes. He's a leader, and finds the best therapy is showing up and doing your job to your best abilities. That said, he's not made of stone. And he does not forget his fallen friend.

Remember if you comment or discuss to put it in spoiler tags. :)

Well, it doesn't have to be a cathartic breakdown. We could just get a scene of him in his living room watching a video of Warrick or looking at pics of him and Warrick and then just see him shedding some tears. a little crying never hurt anyone. :)
