George/Nick: Texan Charm #13

Watch: On 'CSI', 'Real' Housewife Plus a Charismatic Canine

So, will this dog become a regular member of the “CSI” team? It doesn’t appear so, at the moment. A rep for the show said only that a reappearance by Sam at some point later in the season could happen. But as of now, Sam’s not in any of the scripts that are currently complete and ready to be produced. The thing is, without spoiling anything, we feel it’s OK to report that, at the end of Wednesday’s episode, Stokes adopted Sam — which left us hopeful that Sam might reappear some time.

Our take: Why are we so focused on this dog? Two reasons: One is that this dog happened to be very appealing (although, as is often the case in these situations, we understand that “Sam” was “played” by more than one German shepherd on the show).

The other reason has to do with the long tradition of heroic dogs in movies and TV shows stretching all the way back to the silent era. We just happen to have a soft spot for these faithful canine heroes, and we believe that adding this one to the “CSI” team would be a can’t-miss move on the part of CBS.

Why are we so positive about this? Because we’ve become mesmerized recently by another heroic German shepherd that we found in a very obscure TV series on one of the Spanish-language cable channels, the one known as Vme (pronounced “VEE-may”). This series is titled “Comisario Rex” (which means “Inspector Rex” — which is just too cute) and Rex is a crime-fighting German shepherd that you cannot take your eyes off of. So, we have found ourselves avidly watching this show, and we don’t even speak Spanish.

Maybe since everyone seems to of absolutely loved Sam he'll re-appear in the second half of the season! (She says hopefully!!!) I loved Nick with Sam :luvlove: and Sam has already shown that he could help the team.

they may want to consider having Sam on again - on CSI's Facebook page, over 77,000 people liked the "Sam stole the show" post and over 2900 people posted a comment. Lots of people liked him.

Loved the scene with Nick and DB at therapy place. Very funny. I'm surprised no one brought up Nick and Kristy last night - kind of similar.

Loved what little there was of Nick last night. :) He was looking especially hot in that black jacket. :adore:

Just found this on twitter...

Upcoming interview at the Jeff Probst Show so keep an eye on your local listings. :) I'm not finding any date at the link so I don't know when. :(

Love George Eads from @CSI_CBS? Here's your chance to see him in person when he visits Jeff!

They have a link on the show page to apply to be in the audience. :) Of course, I'd have to quit my job to take off like that with no notice, but...I think it might be worth it!

Thought I'd let you know I saw a picture on twitter of George waiting to go on Jeff Probst show.It appeared to be taken earlier this evening.

I really enjoyed Nick's scenes last night with Eli, although I would have liked more of t hem. And the end was very touching, when he was talking about Warrick.

George was awesome, as usual.

Nice jeans too:)

They're posted over in 'The Ward'. :bolian:

Would have really loved to see a bit more of Nick with Eli. Was a little sad that it didn't seem that Tina even really mentions Warrick to Eli.

I was a bit suprised that Brass and Super Dave didn't know that was Warrick's grave until Nick said something. :(

I knew as soon as the bugs were found that they were going to take Eli from Tina. Right then I was thinking how great it would be to end with Nick and Sara showing up at Tina's with buckets, brooms, & mops to help her clean up and get back on her feet so she could get Eli back.

Nicky did have the most heart warming line of the night (sappy as it may have been! ;)) ~ "Warrick walks beside me every day, he's the source of a lot of my strength." ~ I'm glad that he does think of Warrick so much. :)

After watching the one and only Nick/Tina scene again I wish that there was one more scene between the two of them. To see how much Tina's McKeen comment hurt him (she said 'you CSIs' but you know Nick took it personally :( )and to just leave it like that between the two of them. :(

George was awesome, as usual.
Is he ever not?

Nice jeans too:)
Notice how he changed into an older pair of jeans and a t-shirt for the junkyard.

Nice new looking black jeans and that plaid shirt looked -

I liked this one. I'm glad they didn't gloss over the effect it surely would have had on Nick. And it wasn't too preachy. Seemed like Nick had just the right approach with both Tina and Eli...very laid back.

George was looking so good (nice arm porn!) that I almost didn't notice/mind the hair. ;)

Lots of beautiful Nicky smiles last night.

Indeed. :) He seemed to be having a good time for most of the episode...lots of nice grins. :adore: I like seeing him work closely with the cops too. He always seems to get along so well with everyone.
