Thanks for posting! Now if he would just lose that hat. I think that man has a crazy hat fetish.

Let the man have a 'crazy hat fetish' if he want to. ;)

I'm kinda liking it now. Still don't care for it in those pics from the golf tournament but I've warmed up to it in this. Personally I'm wondering about the skull in the back?

Susan

Yeah, I like the hat a lot more this time than the golf tournament. I still prefer hatless, although I'm flexible on hair, as long as it's not season 6.

I noticed the skull too - made me wonder where that was filmed.

Just read the spoilers for Nick in the spoiler thread. I'm liking what I read. I hope that episode is as good as the spoiler makes it sound like it will be. Us Nick fans need a good Nick episode this season.

Hi!

I have a question about the Grave Danger episode. Has anyone else purchased the HD version off of I-tunes, and if so, did you see the section with McKeen? I'm not sure, but I don't recall this from any previous versions. Let me know if this was added to this version, or if I truly am losing my mind (it's not totally out of the question that I might be losing my mind...) Thanks in advance for the help.

Take Care and Happy Holidays,

Kelli

Hi Kelli! :)

Rather than being added, I think it was cut. Does anyone remember if it was in the episode when it aired the very first time? It's always been in the transcripts and the reviews from back then, but I have never, ever seen it when I've watched the episode on TV or DVD. And I've always wondered why. Anyone know?

I've seen it all as one episode once. :) There was a scene in the middle (like at the 1 hour mark on tv) that got dropped when it was split into two seperate episodes. Guess they needed to cut time to add the end credits after half and the opening credits at the start of the second half.

I remember being mad at myself because I wasn't taping it right then so I didn't get that scene. Always wondered if the version that was sold overseas seperate from season 5 had it.

So the iTunes version has it? Might be worth the download. :D Does anyone have the individual DVD of GD and do they know if it has the scene?

I know it was in the original that was aired as I watched the tape of it many a times :)

I don't have the individual DVD but I do understand that it's exactly what is on the season 5 DVD

I just checked out my season 5 dvd, and that scene was not included in my set...interesting. I think I got ripped off on my dvd set. Again, thanks for the help on this.

Yeah, I know the scene isn't on the Season 5 disc. And we think it's not on the individual DVD either? But it's on the iTunes one?

Smokey,

The high-def I-tunes version definitely included it. Ecklie actually comes across as human, and McKeen is creepy, especially when you know what he does later.

Is the quality really good? I've downloaded a few episodes before with mixed results when I cap them.

Quality is excellent, I actually noticed things I hadn't before. Of course, I think all shows look different on the computer vs. tv. I had trouble with the regular versions of episodes (they didn't stream well) but the HD version seem to work better. Hope this helps.

When I saw that "missing/deleted" scene I was watching it as a Saturday night movie on CBS. Back before they started their "Crime Time Saturday Night reruns. That's the only time I've seen it not split into 2 episodes. That scene caught my eye simply because it was there. I was kinda angry when it wasn't on the DVD.

It's always bugged me because I would see it in the transcripts and in the reviews. I can think of a few other things that the episode could do without that would have been better to cut out tho.

Kelli, I know what you mean about watching on the computer. I've watched that one on my laptop with headphones and it's also amazing what you hear that you never heard before! Things like all of the background voices and what they're saying or yelling and even the dirt shifting in the coffin and falling after the explosion.

I also love too that on the computer you can see so much better after the explosion when the dust is clearing how he is lying there and Warrick has his hand on his shoulder and the Grissom puts his there too and Brass comes and leans over to see too.
