Re: FanFic Poetry... Calleigh to Horatio
Another DuCaine poem. This one I wrote in about ten minutes out of sheer boredom during my shift at the radio station. Therefore, it's not as good as the first one I submitted. I hope you enjoy anyway
The stanzas reflect the conversation at hand: Horatio is the first stanza, Calleigh's response is the second, so on and so forth.
Musings From Tragical Embrace: When Calleigh Rescued Horatio's Heart
Thou hath gathered up my trembling hands
And kissed my gingered mane
To take me from these sorrowed lands
And alleviate this pain
I came upon thee cowered
Heart wrought with agony
And picked you up and showered
Thee with kisses lovingly
As if angels descended
From the welkin up above
Thou hath made me dependent
On thine intoxicating love
Horatio, it hurt to see
Tears running down thine face
You took me in thine arms to be
In a warm and loving place
Calleigh, love, my heart was wrenched
With suffering and pain
For thou hath with thine smile quenched
In my heart a deadly bane
Horatio, I love thee more
Than selfish stars love shine
Your fragile heart I'll implore
To be entrusted onto mine
