Hey!! :)

Here are my two poems. The first was inspired by the hug Horatio gave to Calleigh in 'Lost Son', and is also inspired by the episode in general. The second is just a romance DuCaine poem, and can be told from either point of view. Hope you like! When it comes to Horatio and Calleigh, the words and emotions just flow out of me and onto the page! :)

You Held Me

I never forgot that day
My life, your life
Changed forever.
Fate caused us
To lose a much loved friend...

The pain I felt...
The grief I felt...
The utter sadness...
It tore me apart,
I couldn't breathe.

Yet I didn't cry,
Not even when my own words
Came back to haunt me,
"Clean your gun..."
Oh, Speedle...

It was just us...
Alone...
So long I had wanted this,
But not this way
My heart was screaming,
And you heard it...

Your voice...
It made we weak.

You opened your arms,
And I melted into your embrace.
So long I had waited,
Wanting, needing...

Your arms were so strong,
So gentle, holding me up.
Your breath whispered
Against my ear,
Stirred my hair...
Your heart was beating
Against mine...

We stood there for an eternity,
My tears flowed freely,
You held me close,
You held me tight,
I still feel your touch...

And in that moment,
In your embrace,
I knew I loved you.


Until My Last Breath

Come what may,
No matter what,
I will be here for you...
Through thick and thin,
Through the rain...
Even if the world caves in,
I'll stand by you,
No and forever...

Whenever you're lonely,
I'll be here...
Whenever you're angry,
I'll be here...
Whenever you're sad
And longing for love,
I'll be here...

Know this, my love...
I will love you
Until the very end,
Until my last breath.

Hi Macsgirlme, here's another it's about Eric


Visions

While In my Coma , I sleep and dream,
I see visions of beauty all around me.
Visions of Angels and bright warm sun,
this must be Heaven, I'm dreaming of.

Soft harpsichord music, surrounds my ears,
letting me know this place is not to be feared.
Then I see Shadows surrounding the mist,
this must be the spirits who dwell and live.

In this Kingdom of beauty beyond the earth,
they walk in patients for their rebirth.
Walking deeper into this beautiful mist,
I see silver gates shinning within.

Reaching the entrance I'm stopped at the gate,
by a vision all in white telling me to please wait.
As I wait he opens a huge white book,
and asks me my name while he looks.

I tell him my name and he checks inside,
what he looks for I'm not sure in my mind.
Then he speaks, " I'm sorry my Eric my dear,
for your name seems not to appear.

He looks me deeply in my brown eyes,
and says ,"my child it is not your time.
You must return back to your shell,
there are loved ones who need you to remain well.

So I started walking back into the mist,
and seen myself laying upon a white bed.
Closer now reaching my hand to my shell,
I'm reunited once again inside myself.

Slowly now, opening my eyes real slow,
I see Horatio and Calleigh, crying and praying for hope.
"Please don't cry my Brother and dearest friend of my heart,
I'm back now, please don't cry it's not our time to part.

As they're hugging me tight in our family embrace,
I see Speedle and Marisol with smiles upon their face.
That's when I knew this place I did go,
was Heaven, and one day it would be my home.

Calleigh to Horatio

Hidden Rapture

I have never felt this way in my life before,
I love you so deeply from the bottom of my heart.
That you have captured my soul right from the start,
that nothing or no one can tear us apart.

Horatio, you have given me these nights,
and you have bound me deeply eternal.
I pledge my heart and love to you,
now and always forever and ever more.

I'll devote my life to bringing you pleasure,
as you have brought pleasure to me.
From this day forward each touch we share,
will be together with only gentlness and care.

And when we're making sweet love upon the rocks.
when our hands and fingers begin to interlock,
We will feel the explosive earth shattering bliss,
of our magical love and heavenly bliss.

Horatio, you are my delightment and my tourment,
you are now my world and I am yours.
Together we will be forever and always captured,
under the moonlight of our Hidden Rapture.

Danny

I'm leaving today, not knowing how to say good-bye,
hoping you'll understand it's tearing me up inside.
I must complete this journey before our life begins,
otherwise our future will fail no matter what we give.

Danny you know I love you each moment that drifts by,
I'm counting down the hours before we once again unite.
Please accept this letter and keep it safe till I return,
and try not to worry yourself with so much painful concern.

I need you Danny more then you will ever understand or know,
so please hold on tightly while I brave this aweful storm.
Keep thinking of our friendship and possibly our love,
because I'm coming home as soon as this case is done.

Thanks for your comments macsgirlme. I really appretiate it, now if we could just get more poetry writters we'd be hopping. :lol: :lol:

I think i'm gonna change the title of your thread since it's not only poetry from Calleigh to Horatio :)

BTW MacsGirlMel, would you like to develop more your comment cause it looks like you're spamming in here, one word post are not tolerate by my co-mod and myself

My dearest Mac

Why do you not touch me, when I need it most?
Why do you hesitate to hold me, in public places we do go?
Why don't you ever express how much love is in your heart?
All these things I see and feel the last few times we've been apart.

Why can't you just for one time, grab me in public and hold me tight?
Or surprise me with a kiss in front of people or our friends?
"Mac" it's always like i have to take the first touch for your response,
And sometimes even then, I feel like your somewhere else "lost".

I'm not sure what else I can do, to make you feel more comfortable with what we have,
Just give me some reassurance that you want our love to last.
I love you Mac, more then the sea or oceans that reach the shore,
and I hope you don't wait too long for your heart to open loves door.

Horatio in thoughts of calleigh


The Angel

I seen an Angels shadow upon my wall,
slowly making its way down my cold dark hall.
It came around the corner into my lonely room,
then I realized this Angel was real and it was you.

You came to lay next by my side,
and told me my life would be alright.
That all the sorrow I had in my heart,
would disappear along with the dark.

I cried softly into your warm palm,
while you asked me what was wrong.
That's when I told you my heart was so broken,
because it was missing the warmth you had spoken.

I told you my pain increases when you're not around,
and heaven in my soul can never be found.
Then you said "my Horatio" close your eyes,
and listen to my voice and there I would find"

Peace of gentle warmth blowing in the breeze,
a place for us when I am in need.
Of your touch, your voice, or warm sweet smile,
to help me pass this heartache for a while.

Then climbing slowly back up my wall,
you start disappearing again down my hall.
And I whisper " I love you Calleigh" with all my heart,
and I close my eyes and allow you to heal my scars.
