here's my latest work. i'm warning you now, you may want tissues. it's very heart wrenching! it's a poem dedicated to the loving memory of Tim "Speed" Speedle and it's entitled "My Heart Still Waits"

Sitting here in the rain,
bow your head to hide the pain.
Hide the pain, that covers the shame.
To hide a time left far behind,
the things in the corner of your mind.
All the people who did you wrong,
or the one to say the least.
Atleast now, it all has ceased. (sp?)
It sounds kinda crappy to me now that it is in text, but it sounded good in my mind. And my mind was also telling me that you all would guess who I was talking about so... let me know if you can...

I just felt funky so I wrote a Sara poem =)
She was trapped in harsh coldness
Beneath a sky of velvety black
So ironically beautiful
So tragically remote
That she feared she'd never find back
With what last vestige of strength she had
she hopelessly whispered a prayer
For someone to find her
For someone to hear
On the inside she knew, nobody was there
Alone in the darkness she waited for rescue
Waited for the pain to cease
Some kind of salvation
Some kind of hope
In the end, though, death was her only release
