I truly hope this episode will have her front and center. I just want to watch this episode!

From what I get, I doubt there will be any secret being revealed about Natalia but I hope to be surprise!

PS. I am afraid she might not be in the 4th episode, no sign of her in the promos.

A tiny bit more from Eva about Sleepless in Miami:

Is CSI: Miami doing a Halloween episode this season?
Yes, and it’s one of my favorite episodes! It’s particularly creepy and totally unlike any of the other CSI: Miami’s. It’s about a drug—which evidently is a real drug that’s akin to a zombie drug—and peopletrip out heavily on it. They see aliens and monsters chasing them and whatever their darkest fear is becomes realized in the middle of being on this drug. We find this guy who doesn’t know if he has killed somebody or if he killed himself—he’s in the middle of this humungous nightmare and my character Natalia ends up going undercover to figure out how it happened.

Does Natalia get into any trouble on the case?
I end up getting drugged and shooting at my coworkers and thinking that they’re my ex-husband trying to kill me! But my ex-husband is already dead. I’m tripped out in that episode. It was a blast! Anytime we get a chance to do anything other than being in the lab, it’s always fun.

Speaking of Halloween, what are you going to be this year?
I like being a ghoul. Every year I’m a different sort of ghoul, so this year I’m going to be a white ghostly ghoul, kind of a 1600’s ghostly ethereal looking ghoul. I’m excited!

Oh my! Our Natalia going crazy? Can't wait to see! :p And so Ghost!Nick is trying to kill her. Its Eva's fave episode...so it will also be ours!

Holy Mother Theresa! So Nat does shoot at H n Ryan! :vulcan:

Wooow, Miami is defiantly kicking it up a knotch for Halloween this year! This will most defiantly be my favorite Halloween epie from TPTB and it seems to be cooking up for fav episode :)

But, as I said before, Nat going a bit crazy might be a way of side-lineing her as they always did last season :(:scream::scream::scream::(

God I hope they don't, especially with an episode like this! I'm dying to see it!

Lucky yous, you all get to see it a day before me! :scream::shifty:

So I did some Googling on this "zombie drug", and...

Due to the potent combination of anticholinergic substances it contains, Datura intoxication typically produces effects similar to that of an anticholinergic delirium (as contrasted to hallucination): a complete inability to differentiate reality from fantasy hyperthermia; tachycardia; bizarre, and possibly violent behavior; and severe mydriasis with resultant painful photophobia that can last several days. Pronounced amnesia is another commonly reported effect.

No other psychoactive substance has received as many "train wreck" (i.e., severely negative experience) reports as has Datura. The overwhelming majority of those who describe their use of Datura find their experiences extremely mentally and physically unpleasant and often physically dangerous.

Man! It's going to be awesome, how am I supposed to wait?????
I know! I hate waiting so, so, so much! And Halloween's a big day for me: first up is a cheerleading competition that my cheer team I coach is going to. If we place in the top three, we move onto the Regional competition. (And if we move on from there, my girls get to compete in Disney for Nationals. Very, very exciting for them.) And of course, after the competition I get to come home to a freakin' awesome episode of Miami! I don't care how far football pushes it back; I'll wait up all night for it if I have to!

Oh, I'm am SOOOOOOO there for this episode. I'm so excited to see the scene with the pictures that we've seen come to life! :)

I just KNOW Eva is going to be so good!
I'm going to absolutely agree with you: I think we're all excited for this episode to air and it will be absolutely incredible to watch! Eva is going to ROCK it; I predict a few award nominations coming her way for this episode!

PS. I am afraid she might not be in the 4th episode, no sign of her in the promos.
No, don't say that! TPTB are doing such a great job so far of giving her screen time! (Although, if for whatever reason she does take a bit of a break in this next episode, I'll be okay with it - we'll get tons of her at the end of the episode in the promo for the Halloween episode! And that's what I'm most excited about, anyway!)

But, as I said before, Nat going a bit crazy might be a way of side-lineing her as they always did last season :(:scream::scream::scream::(
Nah, I don't think so. My guess is that this will be a Natalia season. With Emily in a delicate condition due to her pregnancy, they'll probably be limiting Calleigh's screentime. And so, in order to break up all the testosterone on this show, I think they'll be stepping up the use of Natalia. At least, that's what I hope!

:D This is gonna be so cool.

Oh my, she's shooting at her co-workers! Ryan is a good possibilty since he's there in the promo photos, but I wonder if she aims at Eric ....I recall the original spoilers & it was said that during a chase "she" draws "her" gun at him. I always thought "she" was the crazy lady, but ... maybe it's Natalia. :wtf:

All I know is that this is going to be one EXCELLENT episode!

And thanks for the research, Rissa. Interesting stuff there. :)

Good find Michya, after reading that I have to say that it looks like Professor Jonathon Crane has moved to Miami (Batman fans will get the reference). This is definitely on my must watch now

Wow about the 'zombie drug' effects, that is really scary and horrible, can't imagine Natalia going through that and I wonder if it will give her any residual effects in the future. Will it affect her job, etc?

However I can't wait to see how Natalia reacts to it and how she will be 'dangerous'. :p

Wow, poor Natalia! That sounds like a hellof an ordeal to go through just with the drug-part, but also she has to handle almost killing her team-mates!!!! It seems that Nat's defiantly gonna be on an emotional rollercoster in this one!

Ooooooh I don't care if I've got school, I'm getting up at like, 5am to watch this online!

BTW, when the promo for 9.05 comes out, gives a shout please ;) Can't wait to see.

Yeah, I'm leaning away from the baby secret thing now. It was fun while it lasted.

I do think there might be something though, just probably less shocking -- my impression/thoughts is that Natalia suffered far more than most of the audience was/is assuming & we'll finally learn exactly how bad it was. All we really knew was that Nick broke her arm (& the head slaps), but she also mentioned a crime scene (season 4 Shattered)....I would think it'd take more than a broken arm for a crime scene. Maybe he tried to kill her....didn't she say something to Horatio like "you don't know what he's capable of" ...?

So many questions.....:shifty:

No, I think a baby thrown in at this time would feel a bit desperate. I just can't see a way to pull that off...so I hope not. Even if I really could picture her with a child.

Hahahahahahaha, I'm off on Monday so I don't have to go up at six am. I'm thinking pancake breakfast and great entertainment! Damn, I promised myself I wouldn't get my hopes up but here I am.... ;)

I would have loved to have some great Calleigh/Nat action scenes but I guess I'll have to wait!

Yes! Just upgraded myself to "Dead on arrival", awesome :rommie:

Almost one more week to go! Yet I don't want it to go away so quickly either.

I don't remember Natalia relating any crime scene to herself, did she?

Now I am waiting for the promo, promo, promo! Oooh and if there is a sneak peak, hmm, I don't know if I would want to watch it not in order to over-spoil myself.

The crime scene talk was back in season 4. When a drug lord was killed outside Nat's appartment block and Ryan lets her on the scene. He asks her if its her first scene and she says "Her first one by choice"

I agree, a broken arm isn't enough for a crime scene. I agree with mjszud, it would have to have been bad and gruesome for a crime scene to be set up.

And, in Eva's interveiw, she said Nat thinks the teams Nick trying to kill her. That along with everything else said, I think it won't be "Nick's" first attempt to kill her

Someone (tptb or an actor, I can't remember who) had spoke about that scene in 'Shattered' & how Natalia lived in an upscale neighborhood plus the crime scene comment -- they said it was all meant to introduce her ex-husband/abuse storyline. I'm pretty positive she was referring to her own.

Speaking of "her" crime scene --
I wonder if it happened in that garage/warehouse that we see in the promo pics? I'm having a hard time understanding why she'd end up in such a seemingly random place.....does she somehow manage to return to her old crime scene, or does "ghost Nick" chase her there?
And in that one promo pic, Ryan's standing next to a black car outside this place -- is it Nat's car? I'm scared if she actually drives while tripping. :cardie:

Damn...TPTB have thier hooks in me with this one. :p

Calling all Natalia fans! I need a favor... I'm trying to figure out what episodes from what seasons Natalia was in, and how many scenes in each episode. So far, I've gone through all of season four: From The Grave (3 scenes), Blood In The Water (1), Prey (1), Three-Way (1), Under Suspicion (2), Nailed (1), Urban Hellraisers (3), Shattered (3), Payback (6), Silencer (1), Skeletons (4), Deviant (1), Collision (7), Driven (1), Dead Air (4), Shock (2), Rampage (1), and One Of Our Own (4). Is that right? Did I miss anything?

Yes, the drug's effects sound scary as HELL. I talked to someone the other day who once tripped on it when she was seventeen, except it was a very watered down, low dosage. (She'd already heard the horror stories and didn't want such a horrifying experience.) Her trip lasted almost a day... she hallucinated being able to talk to animals, thought there was a hole in the wall that she wanted to jump through to reach a swimming pool (and she did try to "jump through" the "hole" - she had a huge bruise on her forehead to prove it), had a very long panic attack about jumping into the pool since she's terrified of drowning, and walked around holding her breath because she was convinced she could breathe underwater or something. She did the drugs with a friend who was a lot more paranoid than her; the friend was convinced her mother was trying to kill her and the girl actually called her mom to say that she'd never find her.

Will do! The promo for 'Sleepless' should debut tomorrow night right after Miami ends, and I'm sure I'll immediately hop on here to share in the freaking out with everyone else!

...It's so sad that I'm so impatient for tomorrow night's episode just so that I can see the thirty-second promo clip at the very end. :p

Yeah, I'm leaning away from the baby secret thing now. It was fun while it lasted.
What? Noooooooo! :( I'll never lean away from a Natalia!baby. Until the end of time, I'll be convinced/hoping there was a child she gave up for adoption as a means to save him/her from Nick. *stubborn*

Agreed. Nick definitely did more than break an arm and slap her around. I was watching that scene from 'Shattered' just yesterday... a lot more happened than what we know.

I was thinking the same, before I had heard of the "tripping out" I thought Nat was driving with the suspect (since she is undercover and all) and then ended up at the wearhouse but now....

I think your onto something there MJ, maybe she does drive there in hopes to hide (or voices tell her or something) and in the photo with Nat and the gun is with Eric, then she runs, then is found by H:cool: and Ryan:drool: in some other part of the factory.

And also, from reading that info on the drug, alot of the results are fatal! Like tachycardia "dangerous rapid-heart beat", hyperthermia and also mydriasis (where the pupils enlarge and are sentitive to light)

I think in the pic with the gun, Nat's pupils look huge dont you?

And when H and Ryan find her on the ground, maybe its not a "restraining her" thing but a "checking if shes ALIVE thing!" :eek: H does look like he's just found a pulse ands trying to wake her up or talk to her:eek::cardie:

Either way, I'm waking up at like 5 to try find that promo on youtube or something!
