Eric/Ryan Slash--Unresolved Tension

Nothing was said about it, but he was shown buying drugs, and we know it comes up later in the series that he's buying them for Marisol. I think the implication at the moment is that he's using the drugs himself, but we know that's a red herring.

Actually, in Three-Way the Big Boss said to Horatio that one of his team had money problems. Did he mention drug problems? I'm going to have to watch it again. (Not a hardship). I'm just wondering if the Big Boss knows Eric's buying drugs already.

ETA I've just remembered. Eric wrote Ryan a cheque for a charity, Ryan went to put it in his bank to write one big cheque, and Eric's cheque bounced. That was it. He didn't borrow money, it was a bouncy cheque.

inge - No, Eric didn't borrow money from Ryan. Apparently, the lab pitched in for a charity, and Eric wrote Ryan a check for that, so he could deposit it into his account. Then Ryan was supposed to write one big check to give to the charity from the lab. Well, Delko's check bounced due to insufficient funds, and the money problems stem from the fact that he had been buying drugs for Marisol.

Oops... I just realized that AliGtr just explained the same thing.

Oh yeah, I was just throwing out some ideas for a name (I didn't really like OCD anyway, but I thought I'd throw something out there to get you guys thinking :D) I like Hardy Boys and wouldn't mind if that's the name we adopt. :D

So are we all agreeing to Hardy Boys? :p

And AliGtr, you're so right, Eric should have just opened up to Ryan *sigh* men, why can't they solve their own messes? They always have to act all macho and proud and everything :p

I totally agree to Hardy Boys. :D I've been hooked on the name since day one, when SwiftT first used it on LJ or something (that is where it started, isn't it?). I looked at it and was like "Oh man, that's a GREAT name!!" and loved it every since. :D I like that it ties into the show, especially since it's such a great scene. :D

Yeah, on LJ it got voted on immediately, I'm not sure who came up with it though... I can't remember I'll have to look into it :p

I think Hardy Boys really works because we first hear it in the Silencer eppy during the entire blog scene after the scene in the evidence locker
and since that is one of my favourite Episodes concerning our boys and because those two scenes really have loads of slash potential, I immediately fell in love :p

I automatically think of them as the Hardy Boys. I read all the books when I was younger, and I seem to remember I fancied one of them (it was a long time ago), so it's kind of appropriate in my mind :p

SwiftTales , if men could sort out their own messes, they wouldn't need us to write about them.

Totally off topic - I keep looking down at my keyboard and there's a key that says Alt Gr. I keep misreading it and wondering why my screenname's on the kb. *brain melting*

No worries, Shadowfax. Never even crossed my mind that you might be ignoring me. Trust me that I understand how real life can keep you busy. :) As for the fic, I'm writing it in little spurts, but it's coming along. Actually, the surprisingly positive response I got to my little ficlet the other day was really encouraging so I'm going to be working to get my other story finished in the next few days if all goes well. :)

Anyway, when it comes to this ship's name, the Hardy Boys gets my vote. It's simple, to the point, and actually part of canon. Hey, a lot of the other ships had to work at coming up with a name, but we pretty much had one handed to us. Not to mention that "Jake" and "A-Rod" were both so adorable in that episode. :)

Oh, that's good to hear FieldMouse. And I can't wait until you finish your newest fic. I'm excited to read it. :D

And I agree with the whole Hardy Boys thing. Plus the obvious mention of Jake, who I love! (I don't really know A-Rod and had to look up who he is. *hangs head in shame*)

Who is A-Rod? Am I being totally thick? My mind linked that with Adam Rodriguez when I heard it. Thinking about it, that couldn't possibly be right. So who is he?

AliGtr , A-Rod is a nickname for Alex Rodriguez. He's a well known baseball player for the New York Yankees.

I remember reading that Jonathan Togo has had people tell him that he looked like Jake Gyllenhaal so I wonder if they wrote that into the episode because of that. I was also wondering if Adam gets compared to A-Rod too. I think might have found my answer when I was looking for a picture of A-Rod.

You can find pictures of Alex Rodriguez here: A-Rod pics , but then check out the very last picture at the bottom of the page. I think someone mislabeled something.

^ that's so funny. the author of this site is maybe a Miami fan.
BTW, I look forward to your fic, I'm sure it will be great. :)

Thanks for answering my question Ali and Shadowfax!

I wrote this before, but 'Hardy Boys' is really something special. They mentioned it on the show.

Yeah... I thought the same thing, too AliGtr. I actually thought A-Rod was just another nickname for the real Adam Rodgriguez. That's why I looked him up online just to make sure, and that's how I found out that he's actually a ball player.

Oh that's so cool, I didn't even think about that being so close to his real name..cool. I thought it was the chic thinking he looked like a arab or something eh. But I didn't know who Jake was at the time either. I had seen him in bubble boy but didn't know his name. It was after that ep that I watched "the end of the world" or whatever it was called and everyone in my family thought Jake was Togo, they all said it at the same time" hey TOgo is in this." I had to do a double take myself, even though I knew he wasn't in it. I love the Hardy Boys theme, so matches them.

Twiz! *hugs* Nice to see you here! Does this mean you're considering The Hardy Boys ship? *wink, wink*
