!!! Here's the article !!!

I must say the interview is good!!! (But the writer has pissed me off!! Her little write-up at the beginning tells me she doesn't watch CSI!! I have half a mind to email her and tell her what's what!!! :scream:)

It sounds like this interview was done in May though, so it's possible he's not in Ireland. That's probably a good thing...if I knew he was even in my time zone I'd probably faint!:lol:

Anyway, I'm just really glad to see a new article (pictures aren't new though, pity!) and hopefully this does bode well for him in Season 11!! (I particularly took note of where he said he wants more screen time :thumbsup:).

If anyone actually wants a proper paper copy of the magazine, pm me and we'll work something out ;).

ETA: Thanks for the tip SpasmThatCat!! I don't watch much tv and never buy the RTE Guide ever!! :D

Yes, I noticed him saying he wants more screen time too, just as I always felt he would. I mean what actor really would not unless they really had something else going on in their real life where they wanted to be freed up for it.

I loved that he said he wants to maybe do a comedy after CSI.

One thing I can say about Eric in his interviews, he always seems to really be complimentary and well spoken in them. He never says anything that would really come back to bite him. Smart guy!:thumbsup:

At least they did use one of the new promo shots of him and not an old one from like season 6. :lol:

Thanks, egeria! That was awesome! Although I did want to smack the writer. That first paragraph made it seem Greg was incompetent compared to the other CSIs.

I also noticed the mention of wanting more screen time. I feel kind of bad for the guy.:(

I'd love to see Eric in a comedy! TV, movie, doesn't matter. Something other than the doom and gloom of CSI would be refreshing.

And I agree with you, Dizzney. His interviews always appear to eloquently spoken. I know of the other cast members have occasionally stuck their foot in their mouths. Eric seems to measure his response before he says it. A great skill to have.

Exactly! The guy knows what he is talking about.

He says '' a better CSI, a better actor, more screen time... he needs to do a comedy after CSI...'' Good points. I wish we can see him in another projects this summer.
The article should be longer. The guy should talk more.
 
Well Eric has done comedy before CSI as guest roles on a couple TV shows, plus his role in The Net was a bit comedic most of the time. So I would like to see him go that route again.

I wish someone would ask about his online web series that he keeps mentioning every once in a while but we have yet to actually see. Of course he might only be a behind the scenes person in it, but I am still curious to see if it actually ever happens.

So it seems that Eric Will be in season 11 as he mentioned that they will start filming ay July.These are some great news!!:guffaw:
I would love to see him in a comedic role as well.:rommie:

Thanks, it was nice to see. I went to Walmart this morning and saw that the July issue is out now so I missed this one!! Oh well, maybe I'll find it elsewhere. It was a nice article and I loved the photos with it.

I agree with everyone, Eric is so well spoken in his interviews, it's obvious he is thoughtful and intelligent and a great spokesman for CSI!

I wonder if the interview was that short? Or did she ask other questions but only had a page to put in the magazine? I can think of loads of stuff I'd ask if I were interviewing him!!

Haven't had a chance to watch any Gregisodes yet but will do tomorrow. I will be capping After the Show as well :D

I am glad that this interview implies he's returning for Season 11. I just hope he gets his wish and gets more screen time!
 
I don't normally post in this thread but I had to ask a question about Eric not necessarily Greg the character. I was on a CSI fan website and it said that Jorja and Eric briefly went out and he broke up with her in a magazine article. Is this any true? I don't know how legit the website is so I figured I would ask here. Thanks in advance.:)

As far as I know they have never dated. They have always just been good friends. So I would say that article was wrong. Both Jorja and Eric have always said they were close friends and no more.

I remember hearing that rumor at one point and actually managed to find that article somewhere then. If I remember correctly, the interviewer asked Eric about the way Greg was always flirting with Sara and was it possible that they would get together at some point. And Eric's anser was somewhere along the line that it wasn't going to happen and that they were better off friends. Then when the magazine told Jorja about that, she commented something along the lines "I guess we're broken up".

I mean, this all comes straight from my head and there's a big possibility that I remember it wrong. But asuming I'm right, even though it doesn't profe Eric and Jorja never dated, this definetly means that Eric didn't broke up with her through an article.
 
Yeah what they said... :) Eric and Jorja are best friends (which is why Greg and Sara have such great chemistry) but that is pretty much it.
 
I just put "True Vinyl" in the save quene on Netflix. :) I've never seen the movie, but apparently they don't have the DVD yet, but the release date is unknown.
