Great reviews for our Greg, thank you Wojo and Dizz for posting them here. It's great that many people saw that Greg changed a lot.

Thx for quoting these reviews, we all know how great, mature and sensitive Greg is but it's good to know others notice it too :)

I also think he's the one who came the longest way: changing careers, starting practically from the zero point and learning so much - and not only about collecting evidence but more importantly about how to deal with this kind of stuff, with seeing death everyday and witnessing other people's grief. And knowing you have to keep a cool head, try not to get ovecome with emotions because no matter how hard it is you need to do your job.
In Chasing the Bus Greg was so freaked out when he saw real death and suffering he couldn't even call for help - and now he's a seasoned CSI, able to console the father

You know, I'd love to know the conversations he and Ray (LF) have. Greg's been there. He's made a career switch, he knows how difficult it can be. Granted, he was a lot younger when he did it, but still. I'd say the two of them have a lot in common, both personally and scientifically. It would be interesting to see that explored on the show.

That would be interesting to see, egeria. Greg could help Ray through some situations because I am sure he had similar ones during his days coming from such a different background.

It is weird since Ray has been paired with Riley more than Greg, who would be more appropriate seeing as he is a higher level CSI than she is.

I think they're playing catch up. We've had 9 years to get to know Greg, Nick, Cath...they are trying to squeeze a lifetime of Ray and Riley into one season.

But you're right, Greg being a Level 3 should mean he has more seniority. I'd love to see him in a 'teaching' role.

Well Greg sort of taught the new DNA lab techs when they took over for him. I think he has the capability of being a leader/teacher. I still think Greg in the long run could be the Supervisor of a shift. He has the brains, the knowledge now, and the education and patience to be one.

I agree. And I think he brings that unique point of view to the field as well, having been a lab rat. He's more rounded than any of the others. So yeah, I can totally see him being a supervisor.

Although...if I worked on his shift I certainly wouldn't get any work done!

No I would not get any work done either. I would spend too much time following him around like a lost puppy.

How weirded out do you think he'd be if his subordinates were ogling him half the time? My oh my... far too many fanfiction ideas are coming out of this.

Heee, I like the idea. Yeah a future CSI Lab with Greg as the supervisor fanfic...yeah lots of ideas do come to mind.

"Oh Yes, Greg, you want me to come to your office...I'll be sure to lock the door behind me."

Greg as supervisor - a very cool idea and surely nice fics will come about it. But well, I wouldn't be able to work with Greg as the boss. I see myself as a clumsy one everytime while he was talking or only looking at me... Yeah, I would be like a lost puppy too, Dizz:lol:

I actually did read one fic where he was the boss. I can't remember who wrote it, but it was pretty good.

He has the brains on him to be one. I know others who are not Greg fans have said they could see him being in charge one day. We will never see it though. And just what he did last week with that father of the boy proves he has it in him.

I'd love Greg as my boss - I mean I'd like to see him as boss. Maybe when CSI is over and done CBS can come up with a new show: CSI: Criminalist Sanders Investigates
