Okay so going back to getting this thread active and not just the photo thread active, I believe we covered seasons 1 and 2, so how about season 3? What are some of your favorite Greg episodes from Season 3?

Let the Seller Beware
-due to the "You infected me with Mildew?" scene.

Fight Night- I love the scene when Greg comes into the room and starts babbling and Grissom asks him why he always does that and he says it is because he makes him nervous. :)

Crash and Burn-Greg's scene with Sara about the "grass". Another funny scene.

Precious Metal-Greg gets to go out and do his own little investigation with the coin dealer and Grissom sees that he really wants a change.

Last Laugh- Just because he is in this episode a lot and interacts with everyone pretty much.

Play With Fire-Greg finally gets a really dramatic storyline, although still too much focus on Sara's little boo boo and not enough on Greg in this episode as far as I was concerned.

Inside the Box-We get to see a little of how the explosion affected Greg, by his hands shaking. Plus I like the scene in the break room when they are all eating Chinese Food and he teases Warrick.

I also liked the ones you mentioned. Let the seller beware and that mildew scene is one of my fave moments of all!

Play with fire, although Greg got hurt the episode seemed like it was more about Catherine blowing up the lab than Greg getting hurt.

I liked Randon acts of violence. only because the "I thought we had a relationship" scene between him and Nick was cute.

Abra Cadaver -because of Greg wearing a turban and looking adorable.

One hit wonder - making a joke about processing semen is funny.

"I'm done, and no jokes about me being fast in that department."

Yeh, I like the ones mentioned, especially Play with Fire, because, although Greg got injured, it was like his first main, real 'action' that showed that he was more involved in the show.

I like Crash and Burn too for that scene with Sara, "Granny was high."

I also liked Night at the Movies, "99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer, swab one down, run it through CODIS, 98 bottles of beer on the wall." Classic Greg.

Plus all of the ones previously mentioned, mainly little bits of each.

So, I was at the UMC today, getting antibiotics cause I just got really sick, and I was telling my mom about how I think I sent my letter to Eric Szmanda to the wrong address last November, and now I'm home, and my sister walks in, with a big orange envelope, and she's like, "You got a big letter from Milwaukee, open it I wanna see". So I opened it, and started crying, haha, cause it was a letter back and a signed photograph. That like, def. boosted my down sick moodness. :):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Aww glad you got your letter. He's so good about responding to his fan mail. Glad it made you feel better.

Yes he was adorable in that turban. :D

Great csi_kristen:)

Oh, I love this scene. When I heard how he's singing this song it just stucked to my head for hours:D

I am happy for you csi_kristen, I know how exciting it is to hear from Eric. I got that same photo last year (also from Milwaukee). I haven't heard from him this year yet (I've send him a b-day card every year for the past 3 yrs)

That's really nice, Wojo that you send him a card every year. I know that is what I did last year. I have not this year, but technically I still have a week. My signed photo was sent from Arizona though back in November. I sort of wish it had been Milwaukee, then I would have had other mail from there other than my cousins. :)

Even though I'm not a Sandle shipper, I liked the scene in Play With Fire where after the explosion, Sara (who is on the floor) looks over into the lab at Greg and there's this look on her face like "I hope he's okay".

I like his version of 99 Bottles of Beer on the wall too! So funny! And the coin thing was great. I thought it was funny when the guy asked Greg who recommended the place and he said a friend at work and the guy asked who and he said "Grissom".

I don't remember that Nick/Greg "I thought we had a relationship" scene. I'll have to watch Season 3 DVDs again. Greg would always do something to kind of annoy Nick like a younger brother might with an older brother. Like the scene in "Stalker" when Greg was putting those flyers of Nick saving someone all over the lab and Nick got annoyed with him and told him not to do that again or something. That scene was funny/cute. Greg looked a little scared. I don't remember what season that was, but that scene was cute. I always took that as being because Greg's an only child and the people in the lab are the closest thing he has to siblings... so he often does things like this with both Nick and Warrick, but more so with Nick.

I know this is wrong season, but I did like the scene where Greg first came to work on his first assignment after becoming a CSI and he was dressed incorrectly and Warrick told him so. Warrick helped him out with it in that scene so he wouldn't get in trouble with Grissom.

That would be Season 4 "Early Rollout" when Warrick said that to him about how he was dressed and his kit was a mess.

Ah I loved that scene. It's just like Greg is 'why didn't I know that'. Kinda thing. Bless him.

Congrats on getting a reply from Eric csi_kristen, that's awesome!

Did anyone read the news that Billy is going to be leaving CSI after the tenth ep? It says he'll return for special guest star appearances (maybe sorta like Giles did on BTVS after he was no longer a full time cast member), but after the tenth ep he'll not be on as full time cast member anymore. How do you think this will effect Greg? Do you think that he'll get more screentime with Grissom gone?

I remember that Wojo mentioned that some time ago, and I was agree with it... I hope so, I'm too lazy to check few pages back...

Anyway, my answer is yes about the screentime, but... Stupid doubts, I hate them. All about Wendy and Super Dave. I like them both, really, but Greggo is one of my two favourites characters, he's with CSI from the beginning - obvious, he should have more time onscreen (ok, not 'cause he's my fave but if, I wouldn't offence;)). In 8th season (what was mentioned too) he had good much more screentime than in past. In 9th it should be repeat or give even more. We'll see...

Well also mentioned in the main article was that Carol M. said were going to bring in a new CSI and they mentioned just David, Wendy and Hodges getting more screen time.

I do not see Greg mentioned by her because I think she thinks he already gets a lot simply because he has been a main cast member for ages now, but he really does not get the equal screen time that he deserves. I was going through my CSI edits (which just have the Greg scenes) and usually he is only on about 5 minutes of a 42 minute show. There are a few episodes where he gets almost 10 minutes which I what I think is decent screen time. I mean Nick always gets at least 10 minutes if not a whole lot more. So that is why I still think everyone should try to write Carol Mendolsohn and let her know how much we want to see more of Greg now with all these changes.
