Eric & Calleigh Thread #30: "Do it for us"

I wrote something about this on the spoiler thread but I just wonder...

If Cal really reads Eric's file, I don't think it will be because Eric just gives it to her. So if that actually happens we will see a very interesting side of Cal's. I don't see curiosity just getting the best of her very often. IMO she's more of a, respect boundaries cause I like my privacy, kind of person.

Maybe that will be their first fight. Eric will be very mad if she reads that. I know that I would be... But still, I hope she does it. I would really like to see her reaction... And she can't always be perfect. We all do some crazy things because we are in love... I just can't wait.

Actually what happens when she sees him reading the files and tells him legally they can't read them. He replies that the only way to catch the guy is to read them. Without a rebuttal fo any kind, she silently walks over and picks up some files on her own and begins reading....he never actually hands her any....she randomly picks some up. So it is possible that while they are rummaging through the files, she, on her own comes across some part of his. If in fact, what TV Guide described yesterday (her learning some of his secrets) actually happens or if Matt was just interjecting his own comclusions on what can be read in the spoilers it will be b/c she picked up his final on accident...not that he handed it to her.

It is an interesting little twist of events b/c then she is able to learn a lot about him and his therapy w/o any actual screen time or actual dialogue having had been used up and eventually the two of them discuss it but pick it up with both already knowing and not one having to totally explain everything.

Plus if the stuff about when he talks about her to the shrink is read it really jumps or kick starts things moving b/c then she knows exactly where he might stand and the depth of it; it wouldn't be conjecture on her part anymore or unknown....she would know exactly his mindset that she is not a crush or a fling but that he truly and deeply cares.

Yes this is exactly what I meant :thumbsup:. There's no way he is giving her his file so she must come across it and start reading. This is the really interesting part cause she could just put it down since it's Eric's privacy and all that. But if she doesn't.... then we know she really wants to read it and is interested on knowing what's in the file, which maybe she wouldn't do if it were anyone else.

Agree, she would know for sure and without a doubt he truly cares.

Honestly, I think she already knows the depth of how he feels. As for the next step, it's all very well us screaming at the TV, "JUST KISS HER, ERIC!" but I reckon the writers are going to do the whole what I like to call 'awkward-cutesy-how-do-I-express-emotion-around-him/her?' thing.

*sigh* I suppose it's more realistic given the fact that they've been friends for such a long time and trying to break that boundary into a romantic relationship isn't an easy one. But, it needs to happen - preferably before the end of the season.

Ooerr, I'm having a mini creative session with avatars and signatures here.

Anyone thinking of writing anything soon? FF.net is a little slow at the moment. I've got a one-shot floating around in my mind, not really sure what I'ma do with it, though.

On the new season front, has anyone read those script snippets over at spoiler tv? I'm rather liking episode four.
