Eric & Calleigh #31 - A Vote For E/C Is A Vote For Shirtless Eric!

So, have any of you guys seen the Tara TvGuide interview?!?! I'm a little worried, she talks about Delko having the hots for Tara and viceversa; But, first of all she is contradicting herself. Why? Well, she is saying that she has no idea what's coming up, second Corey Miller said that there are NO plans whatsoever to get Tara and Eric together. Third, the writers have been building up the E/C relationship for too long to just drop it like that, and didn't they just cut the Eric asking Tara out for drinks scene!!! Big indication that the writers aren't planning anything. I like Tara, I have nothing against her, I'm just not a fan of the actress. Finally, I think that Calleigh better move fast otherwise she might end up losing Eric, which at that point I would be very disappointed. What do you guys think?
 
At this point i'm not taking anything they say to heart. I think that they are trying to really confuse us so we don't know what is going on. I think that so many questions get asked about E/C to all the actors besides E/C that they may have desided to play with us just to keep us confused and not know when its comming.

Like last night, we where exspecting the retalliation Scene with Tara & Eric over the prank & then she was to ask him out for a drink. Well it did not materialize, I'm not saying that it will not show up in someother Episode down the road, but I think that now the Spoilers, press about Will they get thogether has now become a big game between all of us fans and TPTB & the actors.

I think the TPTB are giving the actor things to feed the press when they ask about the whole E/C thing, As for what Tara said about them having feelings for eachoher it could be a plant they told her to throw out to make everyone assume that they are going to start another three ring circus with Eric being the one with two love intrest instead of Calleigh. I think they like to see us get pissed.

I still think that we are not going to see it comming, like last night we got the small flirty scenes that we did not know where comming, and everyone was more focused on the Tara & Eric prank & whole story that they sent in the spoilers. So we didn't see it comming.

Same thing with wrecking crew, they said ooh its a big moment for E/C! True we got one small almost touch scene & a no i'm not alright, But what did we really get? nothing! They did what they set out to do! Hype us up about the episode dangling the carrot and we jumped for it like always.

Now we have Gone Baby Gone! I'm not saying it will be a bad episode but they are hyping it as something that effects the whole team in a major way. Now they haven't said anything about any E/C moments and frankly i'm not going to hold my breath, but will have to see how the episode lives up to the hype. So far the very hyped ones have not deliver very well. They also had a simuler plot On CSI Vegas! (Can we say another recycled story lines!)

I still think that they have to be reading some of our boards just to gage us on how to twist us for the next episode so they can put out the info they need to on our spoilers. They have to be stupid not to. The people that write for 24 said that they read their board to figure out what there fans want maybe they should take a hint from them!

Whew! Sorry to get on a roll guys, but thats just my hummble opinon!
 
Jennifer, my personal thanks for your post № 301. I couldn't enter to forum earlier, b/c I had some problem with my log in.

I liked Eric/Calleigh's scenes. But this very slow formation. At least, I can hope, that if they move so little by little to their happiness together, we shouldn't see that they have broken off and get over (as Eric with BV) in couple episodes after their join.

I hope, that E/C real relations doesn't become matter for just one or two episodes to endure.

maybe it's not such a bad thing Tara showing interest in Eric. Maybe Calleigh will finally act on her feelings then... I don't know.
I also don't want to see that they're suddenly together. I want to see it happen

I really hope that she does act on her feelings sonner than later.
 
I really trust more what Corey says that what the actrees who plays Tara says. We have said before that the actors don't really know what's going to happen but I think that Corey does. He not only mentioned that there would be no romance between Tara and Delko but that they were working on the EC relationship in which they were taking baby steps. It's been two years in which they have officially been building up EC an to suddenly make Tara Eric's love interest would be a waste of time, writing, chemistry, energy, not to mention redundant. Plus come on, Delko gets three cast members (Natalia, Calleigh, and Tara) and Ryan doesn't even have a love interest other than the crazy reporter?? It just doesn't add up IMO. Plus Eric doesn't have a simple crush on Cal it's much deeper so I don't think he'll just get over that and go after Tara.

The writers are driving us crazy. :shifty:
 
I not saying that they will put Tara & Eric together, I'm just saying that they are throwing stuff out there to confuse us into thinking thing are going to happen in an episode that don't to take our attention off of the E/C stuff and boost the raitings on certain episodes. Then they get our attension and slip scenes in where we least exspect them. I think thats what will happen when they finaly kiss. They will sneak it in on us with little or know fanfair and will all have one of those jaw dropping moments.
 
I don't think Eric and Tara will happen. IMO he is too much in love with Calleigh to let things progress past maybe a drink or dinner. I would love to see a jelous Calleigh though.

On a lighter note, anyone else hoping for a eric,calleigh,baby scene in GBG?? now that would be gosh darn cute;) well here's to hoping!!:thumbsup:
 
Well i havent seen any indication yet that Eric likes Tara or viceversa so im not worried at all, and like Hiphugger17 said, what Eric feels for Calleigh isnt a simple crush they are really deep feelings and its not something you can just forget about. Although i wouldnt mind seeing Tara try and then have Eric blow her of telling her that he likes someone else and Calleigh over hearing it and then have her running up to him kissing him...ok maybe not the last part:lol: thats just something she would never do but it would be nice to finally see her open up to him and its killing me we might have to wait until febuary :( it would be kinda nice him sending her flowers on Valentines Day or her asking him out on a date :)

I join to hope for that scene :)

My husband (who does not watch Miami but knows everything about it because of me) saw the flower scene and was like: she totally hinted. He came up with this scene for Eric to send her flowers because they have a case which involves pollen or something flowery as trace evidence. So they have the trace evidence and he uses that as an excuse to send her those types of flowers (you know so they can use them for the investigation). It has to do with the case but at the same time it's obvious it means something else. I thought it was a cool scenario :cool:.

Aww, that would be so sweet i can imagine Eric doing somethin like that and then them having one of those long looks at each other, i love them looks :adore:. What kind of flowers do think they would be?? hmmm

I can see that happening. I would love to see the look on Calleigh's face when Eric sends her flowers. :)

That would be so cute. I'd die to see a scene where Calleigh is holding the baby and Eric sees it and smiles at her and they share one of those looks. Or, Eric could be the one holding the baby and Calleigh could give him the look that says: "I so want to have kids with you!!!"
 
Of corse he would have to give her tulips! their her favorites. I doubt they will get to hold the baby. From the looks of it that is goig to be Horatio's moment of glory next week so they can show his softer side. But they could build a scene with all of them around the baby. That would be cute.
 
Ok, I figured I would post this b/c I just saw it over at TV Guide.com and in all honesty IDK WTF to think.......

Matt: If Calleigh intends to, I'd urge her to make quick with the Hallmark card. Because to hear Megalyn Echikunwoke (aka Dr. Tara Price) tell it in this video Q&A, Eric "has the hots" for the new lady coroner.

I honestly don't believe Megan E when she says that b/c Corey already told us that there would be nothing between them....maybe that is just how "she" reads into things...who know. But I will definately believe Corey over her unless I hear otherwise from Corey himself.

If it is true, another F*CKING traingle? :rolleyes: Enough already with that stupid noise. That wouldn't be baby steps, that would be circling the wagons!! And totally undo all the progress they have made. Not only with E/C but with the writing in general.

I don't believe her. Another triangle would be just stupid and I don't see why would writers do something like that. The only thing they would achieve by doing that is chasing away all the viewers.
