So do we have any new spoilers yet? I mean I know the strike has been over barely two seconds...but I'm hoping to here new spoilers like now! Call me impatient, but whatever...I want my HOT E/C!

Love all the V-day ficcies y'all are writing lately by the way...if I haven't reviewed yet, they freakin' rock!

 

What I'm thinking is, they decide, 'oh, no time to suit Eric up' and he just has to jump in the water (removing his shirt of course) and play hero. Then Calleigh can be all 'oh, he's so big and strong' and jump him? Are the writers still stuck? I like that idea.

In other news, I have FINALLY finished Resolute Breath. And it had a happy ending, so all is well in fanfic world (aside from the other story I haven't finished, but we won't go there).

Someone else write something *targets people who haven't written in a while* or I'll blast you with my sonic gun.

 

Well...we did see him without a shirt in No Man's Land (granted, he was hanging on for dear life). It is quite unfortunate that we don't have more shirtless Eric, though I must admit, I'm quite content to see any kind of Eric. For some reason, I find the Eric in Rio sooooo....yummy. I don't know if it's what he's wearing, or the fact that he's in Brazil...or avenging his sister's death, but oh my goodness, he is HOT!

Jodie, just for the record, I've been trying to write a V-day fic, but nothing is coming out! I can't seem to get all of the elements together in one story. I've got a strange smell OR a black eye OR the burning deal, but I can't get them all together...we chose some a difficult combination of elements (kudos to those of you who put them together!)
Regarding the J/C/E triangle, I'd have to agree that Jake and Calleigh can't be over quite yet. It wouldn't be very good writing if Jake just disappeared. There needs to be some resoltion, and I really hope it isn't overly dramatic...I do, however, hope that we get to actually see the resolution and all that fun stuff. I understand it's hard for TV shows/movies to tie up all loose ends, but at the same time, I think this is important and definitely worth their time to do so. This is something Calleigh will have to deal with eventually, and all we can do is hope for the best

Oh...and evidently I'm still completely incompetent when it comes to anything electronic. I tried to put up a picture, and they let me have it for a day and then said it was too big. I don't know why I'm so inept when it comes to stuff on the internet, but I could definitely use some help or a link or something so I can put up a stinking picture. About now, I'd go for a ferret with a cowboy hat...I'm just that frustrated. Any tips, tricks, etc?

 

Aw, I haven't been around for a little while, but with promises of new episodes, I should probably start hanging out here again.

My V-day fic's been up for weeks, though like I said then, it's... not a V-day fic.

Jacks - Write three separate stories, each containing an element. I'm sure nobody would object to that. And for the icon, you could always wait until March 9, when the board moves to vBulletin. AutoAdmin will be gone then, I think. But otherwise, just check the file size. Can't be over 20k for jpg/png or 60k for gif. Resizing the picture before you upload is probably a good idea, or if you want a CSI icon, there are TONS that other people have made. Look around the Fan Art board.

I think Eric and Cal need to star in a porno.

 

I think it's high time we had shirtless Delko. I mean, we get PLENTY of cleavage shots from Calleigh and Boa Vista, so why in the name of all that is holy can't we get shirtless Delko?!

Oh man. Eric and Calleigh, undercover as porn stars? :lol: :devil: I...don't even know what to say to that. :lol: But that would lend itself quite nicely to some shirtless Delko. And I get the impression that as long as he gets to be undercover with Calleigh, then he'd be just a little too enthusiastic about that assignment. :lol: :devil:

Lucy, thanks. I did try resizing it, but it ended up being distorted and ridiculous. I threw it away. I did not, however, think to get a picture from the picture board deal...good idea. When I grow up, I want to be able to adequately use a computer...

 

Eric and Calleigh should transfer to the CIA and go on super secret missions in exotic countries (I'm channeling Alias again) where they can *just happen* to book one hotel room. And then the fun begins. Someone needs to write a fic. Here are the prompts: Eric, Calleigh, hotel room. Okay, go. *waits*

This is completely unrelated to E/C, but Cristian De La Fuente, the guy who played the Chilean trace lab tech Sam Belmontes in six episodes of Miami (seasons 2-3) is going to be on the sixth season of Dancing With The Stars. I don't know why this amuses me so much, but I loved Sam! He was so flirty around Calleigh, and I could totally see Eric getting his boxers in a knot over it.

 

Ok so a new ep is finally out....no real E/C stuff but I figured this would get the fodder going

The title of the ep is "You may now kill the Bride" and in it a bride is shot and killed right before she says I do by a bullet to the head. The team investigates and it turns out that she was not the intended target. Her fiancee, a professional baseball player was hiding a secret that may have cost her her life. There are many things going on in the ep; for instance Stetler puts up a tally board which shows the performance of each CSI in the lab...apparently, or at least how Cal describes it, he is trying to split up the team and make everything every man for himself. Ryan of course, jumps all over this b/c he claims to be watching out for his job and sees stars in his eyes about the prospect of being employee of the month and interviews a suspect with the info that Cal and eric gathered; the guy lawyers up before Cal can get in there with some new found info.

Spoiler: Here's the fodder

Eric, while working the case, Eric meets the hoestess of the club where the bachelor party for the groom was held....apparently she was did a transaction at the lcub for a man who stole a credit card and racked up a $20,000 bill....B/c she did the transaction she is on the hook for the money and will owe it to her boss unless she can find the guy who had the card. She goes to Eric for help b/c fingerprints are used on every credit card transaction to prevent just that. Eric, who hesitates to help her at first b/c of all the times he was the 'nice guy' in the past and it always came back to bite him in the ass...tells her no but she slips him the copy of the fingerprint and in the end he decides to help her out b/c the same guy might be involved in their case, eventually Eric gets him to write a check; turns out the guy had tons of money already. He tells the girl to quit her line of work and she thanks him for his help....and says that she hopes to see him around, b;c she likes his and he says the same....as she walks away he ponders the connection they seem to have.

Let the speculation about that last bit begin. To be honest, I kind of saw it coming!!

Seems pretty normal. Cue jealous Calleigh and we're right on track. I'm more curious about this: "Calleigh walks over to the altar, meets a waiting Delko." Symbolism: Yay!

*giant grin* Foreshadowing, maybe? I'd like to think so. Somehow, I don't see that description being written that way unless it was intentionally symbolic or something. See, even the writers want an EC wedding, heh. So, wedding symbolism and the possibility of Jealous Calleigh? I want this episode.

It may not even mean anything, but that didn't stop it from brightening my day, lol.

Oh man, I have been gunning for Eric getting a girlfriend ever since BTK, when Calleigh had that little PDA session with Jake. But seriously, Eric's such a sweet guy and I can't see him staying single long. Now that he seems to have the bullet business under control, I'm not surprised he's ready to test the market again. Time to wake up, Calleigh.

I'm so excited.

I think the fact that I'm in love with Jonathan Togo (and the character Ryan).......as well as Adam Rodriguez (and Eric) doesn't help.

It's sick how much hotness is on screen when they do scenes together...lol
