I'm not too fond of him, either, but I know he'll be gone sooner or later, so that helps. It would suck if they actually made him a regular, but they won't cause JW is a movie actor.

The good thing about the West Coast is that the East Coast people see it first and let me know if it's worth watching or not. I love that. Yay, wine!

I just watched the epi. & had to suffer through the whole thing (& a disgusting J/C scene that made me want to puke!!) until the end when we got some really good E/C angst!!

And Jake isn't in his vest but looks retarded!! hes got a reg t-shirt on and a blaizer!! wardrobe obviously just HATES him!! not that i blame them.

I'm excited for the "really good E/C angst" though...(thanks brooke!) not cuz it's angst ( :p ) but cuz it means we got some kind of E/C!! Score!!

Well there was interaction of course you all know that its because he told Stetler about J/C (There should be a puking smiley) Anyways Eric left Cal a message after he talked to Stetler and apparently she didn't get it fast enough cause she was mad when they went to a suspects house. She seemed pretty bitchy of course and I hate to say it but she was disappointed when Jake told her that they couldn't work the case together anymore because of the new rule. *place puking smiley here*

So my plan totally backfired on me, because now I'm so drunk I don't even remember what happened in the episode.

Except I'm really glad that Eric told Calleigh he's not happy with her dating Jake. Fuck, somebody had to tell her that and I'm glad it was him. It also confirms that Eric still has feelings for Calleigh.

As for Jake, what an IDIOT. Who in their right mind would choose their JOB over Calleigh? I hate to compare, but Eric would've taken it to the hire ups and he totally would've fought for his relationship with Calleigh. Jake's intial reaction? "Yeah, um, my job is more important than you? So maybe we should just cool it." What? Idiot. Leave, please.

I'm kinda glad Calleigh got her comeuppance, though I don't think she and Jake are over yet. And at this point she's probably going to blame everyone else. But I think when that stuff in episode 9 happens it'll open her eyes and make her see that maybe Jake isn't as great as she thought he was. I hate what this storyline is doing to Calleigh. It's turned her into such an idiot. Bring the old Calleigh back, please.

See, this is why I want people to disappear Monday nights, they talk too dang much and make me miss important shipper moments like Eric telling Calleigh he doesn't like her with Jake. Has that been YouTubed yet?

Jake is a selfish bastard, no doubt about it. But hell, Calleigh has brought this on herself so she gets very little pity from me. It still amazes me that the writers have managed turn her into a veritable twit in such a short period of time. Hopefully she’ll snap the hell out of it just as quickly. Maybe she'll finally take of her self-imposed blinders and realize that Jake is always looking out for Jake. He may like her and all, but when push comes to shove he'll always put his own interests first and that’s not going to change anytime soon, if ever.

Oh, and hooray for an update on TCOTE, Caro. Your timing couldn’t be more perfect.

ok I totally hate that Calleigh seems so involved in the relationship with Jake. She was so freaking dissapointed when Jerk told her that they couldn't work the crime scene together.I'm sorry for being such a downer but I'm just so not happy with this. :mad: And I just felt so sorry for Eric when he was trying to explain everything to Calleigh. There has been so much of sad Eric I mean hasn't it been enough? :(

That was the episode's saving grace for me last night, was Eric telling Cal he didn't like her being with Jake...otherwise I might have followed my initial reaction to the other 49.5 minutes of the eppy already passed and throw something at my tv...hard! :p I am really not a Jake fan...the man is just a jerk! And yeah Caro had it have been Eric, he would have fought that rule tooth and nail, or lost his job...but not lose Call...and I think she would have too...did you see how easy she gave in to Jake...no argument, nothing...not that I want her to fight to keep him (please no!) but the old Calleigh would have at least argued with him! :p

At least she can't ever say she didn't know how Eric felt! Short of declaring to the entire lab outright that is madly over the moon about her...she knows how he feels! :D

I love Jake Jerkly!!!! :lol: the name of course ;) And I totally agree that Eric would have fought for their relationship. When Jake said the "maybe we should cool it" or whatever, I was like "oh here we go; we all know he's a jerk how come you don't see it Calleigh??!! :rolleyes:" It was so expected from him to just say something stupid like that!

You are so right. Jake Jerkly (by the way, love the name too!) was only told that they can't work the *same* case...not that they couldn't work in the same stupid police department! There's more than one case to be worked at a time...especially in a place like Miami! Jerk could have easily worked other cases, cases that Calleigh isn't working, so the fact that he said they should "cool it" makes him all the more the Jerk that he is. Can they make his character any more unlikeable?! So I second your thoughts...Leave, please.

I watched it completely sober and even I can't remember what happened, other than the E/C/J, E/N, and Jake liking football.

You know, maybe it's just because I like Jake, but the E/N scenes bothered me a lot more than the J/C scenes ever could.

It was sweet of Eric to try and get a hold of Calleigh immediately after he blabbed to Stetler. I mean, he could've lied and pretended he knew nothing about it, and in that case he could've been there for Calleigh after Jake upset her. But I guess he just can't lie to her, aww. I wonder though what this means for their trust?

Also, why did Stetler go to Jake and not Calleigh? I keep getting this confused - I thought the lab and the police dept were two separate entities, and that was why it was okay for Cal to date Jake, but not Eric? Well, doesn't this just blow a massive hole in Calleigh's logic? There's got to be another reason there as to why she's running from Eric, because "we work together" just does not work anymore, especially after last night.

Also, yay for Eric calling out Stetler about these new rules with regard to him/Yelina! Wasn't that what I said yesterday? :D

There's a missing scene fic there, with Eric and Cal in the Hummer after Jake decided it was time to step back. I want to write it, but it would probably end up with the other 800 unfinished fics on my computer.

Last nights ep was..........hell I don't know what it was!!! I barely followed the case. Anyways JC scenes were SO horrible guys!! I felt like I wanted to hurl!!! Same thing goes for Eric and Natalia scene together. I mean I know he was just helping her out and all but I still didn't like it. The Eden fans must have been having a field day with that scene though! :lol: I felt so sorry for Eric when Cal got mad at him. And YAY he said he doesn't like her being with Jake,well actually he said "situation" with Jake but still. The next few weeks are gonna drive me crazy!!

On another note I can't wait for their first kiss!!! EEEK I might just die right then and there on the spot!!! :lol:
