Oh sweet dog I just saw the yahoo clip with Eric and Stetler! Calleigh is going to be pissed! So here are my thoughts: I honestly don't think Eric did that on purpose, I think he honestly thought stetler knew something and didn't want to mess around (then again, a part of him may have just wanted to out the whole thing...) and then there's that whole self-preservation thing. If he thought Stetler was basically asking him to talk to Calleigh and Jake about their relationship, of course he's not going to touch it with a ten foot pole! Honestly, do you want to be the one to tell Calleigh she's in an 'illegal' relationship (so to speak). Maybe he just wanted Stetler to feel the wrath of Calleigh rather than Eric himself feeling it, and that is understandable!

Jodie, that's really funny! I wonder how many people watch the show just for various actors' bodies...I was watching Las Vegas, and while there's still a lot being shown, there's a bit more modesty (though maybe that's just with the new girl)

On the other hand, I'm currently sitting in a coffee shop and there is a teenage boy with bright blue eyeshadow making coffee...if it wasn't so freaking cold outside, I'd think I'd been transported to Miami.

Lol at how people are making it out to seem like Eric's a selfish little bastard who is jealous of Jake and Calleigh's relationship and tattle on them like a third-grader. There isn't anything sexual about the E/N hug or whatever, which is why Eric couldn't possibly have known that Stetler was talking about him and Natalia. Stetler is so damn vague about the whole thing that it makes sense that Eric thought he was talking about JC, since they're the two people who actually are dating in the department.

Oh I think Eric knows after Stetler walked away that he just unleashed the beast that is Calleigh's anger!!

I highly doubt Eric told Stetler out of jealously...from watching the clip he was being totally innocent; he made an assumption and a mistake. What happens b/c of his mistake will be Cal pissed at him but I don't think she is going to think he did it on purpose. Mad about it; yes. Thinking callousness is inbedded in it; I don't think so. Not after Eric said last week he didn't have an issue with her and Jake. Again, I think it is more b/c she feels he broke her trust about her private life and that her private life is now public to of all people, Stetler.

Oh sad...I'm replying to my own post...oh well. So I'm rewatching bang bang (Oh bless wifi!!!!!!!) and I just have a couple things I'd like to bring up...
1. The coffee machine scene between Cal and Jake--Jake: When would I ever make a macchiato? Cal: You would make one every morning...after we get the machine.

I'm sorry, but the look on her face was priceless! I realize she was talking to jake, but it could totlally have been a cute little E/C flirty moment...if you cut out a little picture of Eric's head (and torso just because we don't want him wearing that stupid vest) and held it over Jake's on the television screen, she could be talking to Eric :D I realize we're not talking to Jake because he wouldn't give Cal her coffee maker, and yes, he was kind of a punk about it....but it could have been a cute E/C moment. (For the record, this post was not written while taking any hallucinogens! I'm not drug-induced crazy...just normal crazy)

2. Also related to that scene (the whole condom thing) What on earth?!?!?! Jake: well if you're going to pick it [the condom] up, you're going to need to put on a second pair of gloves.

Is he just being egotistical male 'my woman doesn't touch anyone else's semen' or what? Anyone have thoughts (oh, and just so this little observation is E/C related, here's all I have to say: Eric would be all like 'my woman')

Man...I need to get out more!

I think the rule Stetler talks about is pure shit. Two people who are dating couldn't possibly sexually harass each other. In these situations, both parties would just sign a few documents that say they know what they're doing and that if something goes wrong, they won't blame or sue the company (or in this case the department) and will deal with it on their own. So this is good. The writers are making up some bullshit rule to disintegrate J/C, but that can easily be dealt with when E/C get together. Horatio is not gonna bat for J/C, but I can guarantee you he'll do everything he can for E/C.

As for tomorrow's episode, the next two weeks are gonna be really hard to watch, but I think episodes 9 and 10 are gonna be great for us. When Calleigh realizes what a jackass Jake and that Eric's been on her side all along, she's gonna feel like shit and we'll be back in the game.

I definitely agree...he wasn't doing it to be spiteful. It was a logical conclusion for him to come to, and yeah Calleigh might get upset, but she knows eric and he's not vindictive...he has no reason to be (especially not towards her)

Eric only says what he does to Stetle becasue he has her on the brain. He wouldn't have jumped to that conclusion if he wasn't thinking about her.

yeah you can't help the guy if all he thinks about is Cal and he made the right assumption thinking that that is what Stetler was talking about given the kiss in the middle of the lab last season.I just can't see Eric being vindictive when there has been no reason for him to be up to this point. He and Jake haven't exchanged words about J/C and he told Cal it wasn't a work problem and gave no indication it wasn't a personal one right now. If he was really upset I think he would have made at least one or two subtle remarks to Cal by now about it, if it did.

Tough, he's all mine now. :devil: :lol: But I put him to good use. The evidence of that good use will be posted as soon as my beta is done with it.

Maybe there will be more tension between E and J later. I mean, he has been casting the both looks, but hasn't said anything. And I don't think he will unless Jake or Calleigh brings it up. He's trying to be polite. Bless him. :lol:

It would be funny if Stetler confronted Calleigh about it and Calleigh asked him, "how did you find out? It was Eric, wasn't it?" And Stetler proceeded to show her a tape of her and Jake kissing in the middle of the lab. ZING!

I'm an Eric fan before I'm a Calleigh fan, so I hope karma gets her good.

The department has the right to discourage dating amongst its employees but not to completely ban it. Besides, Jake's a detective and Calleigh a CSI, which means that they are not even in the same chain of command so their relationship doesn't even warrant a transfer.
I don't want J/C to end on some technicality, though I suppose they could forgo all realism and ask that one of them get transferred and Calleigh wants Jake to do it since the first time they broke up, it was because of him choosing his job over her, but Jake refuses again, thus assuring Calleigh would realize the same mistake she made X years ago. LAME.
