The opening was so good. Eric is in bed, he wakes up, Calleigh is not next to him. Calleigh is shown getting ready to take a shower, then Eric takes one. Then both are getting ready for work, looking at each other lovingly.

There were lots of scenes with Ryan and Calleigh which I loved only because I love their friendship. Their last scene with Eric disappointed me though. Eric was mad at him while Calleigh looked hurt. I felt bad for Ryan. Even though I understood where they were coming from, I still didn't like it. Other than that it was a good episode!

Is it "overkill" to include 15 seconds of Eric & Calleigh in a quasi-romantic setting during an episode which centers around Ryan?

Personally... I say "no". If they put 6½ minutes of E/C-ness into this episode, THEN I'd feel like saying "c'mon, guys, this is way more than enough, focus on Ryan"... but I think all we're gonna get in this episode is those 15 seconds and I'm fine with that. I think it's hardly offensive and I feel it was actually incorporated quite well into the episode.

I don't think it's overkill at all. Fifteen seconds is nothing. If people quibble over the fact that the writers gave 15 seconds of face time to the E/C storyline, then they have bigger issues. They are purposely looking for things to whine about instead of just focusing on how the whole episode and storylines flow together.

In this clip, I love how they compare mornings. E/C are having what seems to be a pretty normal, pleasant morning. Ryan is well, not having a pleasant morning. :lol: Poor Ryan. I hope he'll be okay.

But I digress. I think it's good they put in the E/C part mixed with the Ryan part. There's a good comparison and it allows us to see a lot of the team outside of the lab.

OMG the pictures.....are just that great!!!!!!! yeah and the V (towel) just says all the right things ...and if you notice the bed behind them is unmade...that just a fanfic dream...can not wait...poor Ryan...

OOOHH this season is so great! I love all the secrets, gossip, and drama...not to mention the heating relationship between Eric and Calleigh. I am so excited at how next season will be. If they keep it up, next season will skyrocket!! I'm on the edge of my seat counting down the minutes to the actual ep...thanks so much for posting more info about the opening...can't wait to see for myself

Are there any scenes beyond the one in the beginning? I'm not expecting any because that first scene sounds like it'll certainly be enough to make me very very happy.

Is anyone worried that, for a TV couple, E/C are actually moving a little FAST? I mean, I'm not complaining about all the little tidbits we're getting, but in the world of TV... since they officially went canon, it seems a little fast. We've seen a LOT more than I thought we would. Should that worry us?

E/C do have scenes throughout the episode together, but it is strictly professional. Most of Calleigh's scenes are with Ryan. Eric has a few with him too.

I don't think E/C are moving too fast. They've known each other for years. Their feelings for one another have been building for two seasons now. So I am not surprised at the pace E/C are moving at. The only thing I worry about is when they are busted at work, what will happen. I doubt they'll break up which means the only other solution is that the team break apart by having either Eric or Calleigh move to another shift

I don't think their moving to fast. Must remember that TV time seem much faster then the actual time they've been together. I had no idea they've been seeing each other for 2+ months, I thought it's only been a couple of weeks.
