Episode 7x14 - 'Smoke Gets In Your CSIs' ***CONTAINS SPOILERS***

I think it says a lot about how excited we are for this episode that we are already on page six of the 7x14 thread and it's still sunday :lol:. We haven't even seen the episode and we have so much to comment on. I think that it also has to do with waiting two weeks for it and we are all Miami deprived.:lol:

Emily is too much though....only she would admit she fell asleep!! Most actors hate having their characters be unconscious b/c of LACK of dialogue....she seemed to actually enjoy the break!! :lol:

I think the gum was for the scene where she had to have the tube in her mouth, you know, to make it stay.

Gum wouldn't help the tube to stay in place. Normally,the tube is taped in place,or held in place with an elastic type band.Tape isn't used on television because it doesn't look attractive. Gum may used for dry ,irritated throats,so Calleigh may get to chew gum after the tube is removed.

I imagine it kind of like during "All In" when they're all there to rescue Calleigh. Since she has been there for the entire show, the guys really do protect her, which I think is really gentlemenly. (yea, i dont know how to spell that :D)

Anyways, I can totally picture them kicking the guys butt, and then bringing him in after they arrest him.

Stetler: "Horatio, what the hell happened to him?"

Horatio: "He fell."

Eric: *to himself* "Into our fists."

As for the gum stuff, I do think it has something to do with her waking up and not being able to talk because of the intubation.
Once she wakes up, she won't able to talk because of the tube she had down her throat.
The way she told it, it sounded like it will be because of her physical situation ;)
 
I've been reading all about the gum thinking gum what are they talking about? Then I went back as looked at the ET interview again and realized that I thought she said gun. I'd been thinking about whether or not she had ever used her gun (you don't see it as often as you do the guys) and all this time I had misheard.
So GUM it is.....maybe she gets to chew it after the fire because her throat is sore?

Yea, that's what we're all thinking. I dont see a purpose for it otherwise.

I saw it too! She said you can walk out of a fire thinking you're fine and then it later hits you. Which is what happens to Calleigh in this episode, she continues on with her work and then it hits her and she can't breathe. I can't wait to see this episode!! Too bad the sneak peek clip wasn't longer!!

I'm excited! Today's the day! I was actually awake at 3:30 this morning because I couldn't sleep...probably because I am just so darn excited! :D

School is going to be impossible today....:lol:
 
Haha, I'm sorta glad I have classes all day til 7 tonight so I can distract myself....Now when I get home, I'm not sure what I'll do....Hm...I'll probably take the longest shower ever and cook the most complicated meal ever and take a long time to eat it. That should take up 2 hours!
 
I have to go to work!!! *Cries*

I'm going to be thinking about it all day and my manager is going to laugh at me because she knows how much I love Miami and anything that puts Togo in the limelight will have me drooling! :drool:
