In "The Deluca Motel", Eric finds out that his biological father's name is Alexander Serova(spelling?). This sounds like a Russian name. Ivan Snarnoff is Russian mafia. Eric's mother said that she kept the paternity of his natural father a secret because he was a "bad man". She begged him to let it go. Also, in an earlier episode (I believe 7.03 Raging Cannibal), Eric makes the comment to Ryan about the dead Russian's tattoo. He says that it is Russian Mafia, that he did research on his Russian background and "he didn't always like what he learned". I'm wondering if his father is in the mob with Ivan Snarnoff. Or maybe Ivan is his father's alias? :wtf: I don't know but this has to lead somewhere. Especially now that Ivan is watching the entire team! This could get good. What do you all think?

It was a pretty good episode. I really liked the cinematography in the beginning.

Ryan fighting...ha, I laughed when he got thrown on the door and Horatio saw because that one part was too fake. It looked like he just walked up and face planted the door! Like he forgot the door was closed or something!

So how about that kid is soooo cute?

I guess Ryan can beat the crap out of somebody but he really can't hold his gun.....I don't think it's really smart to run up to someone in the perfect position for them to knock the gun out of your hand. But he did beat that guy down...Both of them grunting/yelling cracked me up though. Especially Ryan's battle cry.

I didn't want claw grabber guy to be guilty! He looked so innocent!

Thanks a lot TPTB. Drag out Eric/Calleigh EVEN MORE!!!!! Has 7 years not been long enough for you?!?! The truffle thing was sweet though.

I have a feeling something with Billy was cut though. After Ryan told him he would see him again the kid was like, "No you won't!!!!" and he was kinda rude about it. I thought something else was coming, but then the credits came up and I was like....oooohh kay??

New lab tech dude is starting to become my favorite character now. We need to start a thread on him. He makes me smile.

Ha....Ryan's face when he saw Horatio made me think he was thinking, "How does he know to show up everywhere?!"

I liked his semi-emotional scene where he was yelling at the Mark dude. I'd be pissed too. And kinda confused. What do you do when someone who helped you get through something falls back into the same habits?

Man, Calleigh/Emily has pretty hair!

Then ending freaked me out though. I bet someone gets shot in one of the last episodes this season.

LOL look at Eric's face when he puts the truffles on the desk. He's like, "Oh yeah, I'm cool! I know the ladies!"

I wasn't really expecting a lot from this episode and I'm glad to say I was really surprised .

Ryan's storyline was really good. It was interesting, easy to follow and made me feel for him even though I usually don't like him a whole bunch. The fact that his sponsor was in all that trouble and that he was dragged into it while just trying to help is really sad and it was played out nicely.

Love Frank, what more can I say?

Calleigh definitely loves horses!! :lol: She was so smitten by them troughout the episode plus it was good to know a new small detail about her childhood.

So at the end when they took the pictures of Eric, Calleigh, and Ryan why wasn't there one of Natalia? She is a CSI Level something, right? I have to go watch season five again and see what exactly is her official position in the team.... I'm confused.

Interesting. That could happen, Ivan could have connections to Eric's father and that could definately create problems for Eric and possibly the team as well. Ivan looked pretty confident when he was being taken away, he knew his plan was already in action to destroy H and his team.

Aha, I agree. Miami is sort of doing what we want, showing us personal parts (well, letting us know, not showing) but making it stupid at the same time, since we don't know anything about it yet, it's sort of random and just out there.

I also agree about the part where Ryan was "shoved" against the door. It really did look like he just sort of walked up to it and put his own face against it. :lol: I found it kind of funny.

I can't say anything about Ryan's fighting except how sexy it was, and that there could have been some blood! Sorry, I'm a Ryan lover. :lol: Loved all the yelling and how scared he looked when Horatio ran in with his gun drawn.

The thing is Natalia was not in the first scene of... Power Trip, was it? When they showed them doing the personal things and being called into work. So now I'm wondering if her character has less rank or something. IDK just wondering.

Oh and please not another character getting shot! We have enough with Eric and H to last two more seasons :lol:. That last scene with the pictures was really freaky and I really hope they do this mob story well cause it could end up being another mala noche or cliché gang/mob story.

Loving the new lab tech too.Maybe the revolving door will slow down for a while and he'll stick around.

LOL!! You and me both! I too was wondering where he got those truffles so fast, but still it was sweet to see him get them for her. If only he could do the same with the flowers she hinted to him about.

As for Ryan and Billy. I didn't think Billy was being rude, I think he was disappointed, sad that he wouldn't be seeing Ryan again. It looks like Ryan's sponser is taking him up on the idea of leaving Miami and starting his life elsewhere.

same here!! i had a friend over, and when she heard billys line, she was like, "thats so sad!" and yea, we got into this whole thing..but gosh, my heart broke for the little guy!

i also mentioned something about her hopefully mentioning the truffles....that would make my year!:thumbsup:

i love the new british lab tech...he's a great actor too
