Episode 7x13 - "And They're Offed" **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

I think what Billy meant when he said Ryan wouldn't see him anytime soon was that even with Ivan in jail, he has friends who might take revenge on Mark and Billy and they were probably going to be put in the witness protection program... and that would mean that they couldn't have any contact with their family members or friends (including Ryan).

Oh and please not another character getting shot!
Let me mention that on Criminal Minds the fans were, like, "Garcia got shot this season, the season can't end with someone else getting shot". And... it ended with someone's car getting blown up, leading the the worst cliffhanger EVER. *laughs* Sometimes a character getting shot is better than the alternatives.

I liked the episode:
-Ryan's fighting was a bit funny, but also kind of cool.
-Ugh. More mobs.
-Damnit, Calleigh, you tell the boy to make his feeling more obvious (than they already are), and then you aren't there to get the hint? Bad!
-Travers slightly exaggerating his accent when he said the line that was something like "Every good Englishman has seen his fair share of the Derby" made me literally laugh out loud. I like him; I hope he sticks around.
-Natalia is a CSI. Maybe we should include her in these "let's get the team" storylines, eh, PTB?

I loved this episode. The murder at the racetrack was something different for Miami.

I really liked Ryan's storyline. It was great to see Ryan in a positive way--instead of his gambling problem or Erica Sikes drama. The interaction between Ryan and Billy was adorable. I also think that Ryan looked hot during the fight (something about a guy fighting is sexy to me, dunno why).

Calleigh's interaction with the horses was great. I like that they added a snippet about Calleigh's childhood. Didn't much care for the flirting between Calleigh and Terrence though.

I love that Eric got the truffles for Calleigh. :adore: I hope we see some follow up with that (not gonna count on it though).

I wonder if the picture taking had anything to do with Eric's biological father. Maybe? I'm guessing that we haven't seen the last of Ivan.

Can't wait til the next episode.

I thought it was overall a pretty good episode.

Interesting case with the mob and everything. But seriously, is there nothing else happening in Miami?

I also like the new lab guy :) I hope he stays around for a while.

Billy is adorable and I love the interaction between him and Ryan. It's terrible all the stuff that he had to go through though, but I think with Ryan's help things will start to look up for him and his father.

The Eric and Calleigh thing was cute too. :)

I like that the writers have really started to add more hints about the characters lives outside of the office. Here's hoping they keep it up!

I'm just wondering where Eric got those "not even sold in Miami" chocolates so fast!

LOL!! You and me both! I too was wondering where he got those truffles so fast, but still it was sweet to see him get them for her. If only he could do the same with the flowers she hinted to him about.

As for Ryan and Billy. I didn't think Billy was being rude, I think he was disappointed, sad that he wouldn't be seeing Ryan again. It looks like Ryan's sponser is taking him up on the idea of leaving Miami and starting his life elsewhere.
Too bad Calleigh wasn't there to get them from Eric in person. That would have been nice. *shrugs* Yea, now that I think about it (and I've read a lot of other posts) I think Billy was probably just sad/mad about his situation, not at Ryan. I'm sure if had to all of a sudden move away and not see anyone I know again I'd be a little frustrated too...

So it wasn't just me, because I was thinking about exactly the same thing. How he get it so fast:confused:. Though it's even better, I mean how much he must loves her if he did it for her.
And yeah, you're absolutley right. I wuold love to see him giving her those truffles, but maybe we'll get a chance to see him giving her flowers?

That would be nice if he gives her flowers in hospital:)

I think that the boy and his father are going into witness protection because of setting up Ivan Snarnoff. That's why he said "No you won't " to Ryan. Billy knows that he is probably not going to see him.

I really hope the new lab tech guy stays in the show like they do to Valera. What's guy's name again?
Travers...Dan Travers maybe? I'm too lazy to go check right now.
Michael Travers I think. Dan was Cooper's first name, I doubt they'd use it again. :p

Yea...Michael Travers sounds right. i think he's a good actor for the ew scenes we've seen him in during season 7 so far

I just love Travers :adore:
He's one of the best labrats they have ever had in this franchise, IMHO.
He's a very nice person, very polite, very smart and classy :p. I just love him!

MOB AGAIN?

.

I don't know... there were some parts in the episode that were really really good. I liked the English labguy, I liked the fact the team gets together after work (even if they didn't show it), I liked the horses (Horsies! Horsies! Yay!) and Calleigh going riding... but overall the episode couldn't really hold my attention. I wasn't glued to the screen as I have been before. And mob... again... and the Russians being the bad guys, that's sooooo cliché! I had a bit of a deja-vu through most of the episode I'm afraid
