David Caruso played Detective John Kelly from 1993 to 1994. Kim came in as Kim Delaney came in as Detective Diane Russell in 1995 until 2003. This is according to imdb.com.

ETA: Not sure why you are asking this in a season 6 episode thread when Kim Delaney was gone in season 1.
