I know it's a lot of people's dream to have Horatio either disappear or his time be substantially reduced, but if that were to happen I think a lot of people would stop watching this show.

I don't want to see Horatio away from the team for half of the season or even one or two episodes! Like him or not, and I know that a lot of people don't believe it - but it is true, most polls show Horatio to be the most popular character on the show. Whether it's people watching because they truly like the character or because they just like to laugh at the way he's portrayed, he always has a number of points above the next highest character in popularity (next up is usually Calleigh). Lose him and the ratings will take a hit.

And I know that we were left with the strong insinuation that Horatio beat up the pedophile, but when did it become fact and when was he pronounced guilty? Technically we didn't see it happen and we have seen no evidence that, in the end, he did. For all we know he simply scared the crap out of the guy - which isn't hard to do with spineless cowards like pedophiles.

I know that a lot of people feel that it's just hopeless denial to even think he didn't. But I guess, being an American, my rose colored glasses aren't completely gone and I still believe that someone's guilt should be proved beyond all reasonable doubt before they are convicted in a court of law or in the court of public opinion.

There are a lot of things Horatio has done that I take issue with and I feel he should be taken to task for, as there are with quite a few characters on the show. But I think there are enough situtations with Horatio that we've actually been allowed to witness that we don't need to assume his guilt in one that we didn't.

Don't get me wrong, I like the character too and sometimes feel its unfair he takes a negative rap for his characterization but considering he went rogue in Rio, I believe most people would conclude that he did beat him up or rough him up in some way.
 
Yeah, no offense to David Caruso or anything, but Horatio is just there at times. I think we REALLY need him for the opener, cause Horatio deals with the really dangerous mob stuff really good. And put him alongside everyone else = unstopable team.

Dear writers: you're doing a great job, please give Emily Procter what she asked for: to jump out of a building and MOST IMPORTANTLY deal with her childhood issues.

Please don't let Eric die! I know that's like a 90% chance but, I'm asking from now.

I want and action packed, flying bullets, girls screaming (hopefully Calleigh), lab invasion, Eric in blood, guys speaking Russian and loads of people dying - season 8 opener. please:)

Yeah, I'd love that!!!! But, hopefuly, without getting injuried, please :p And we really need to see her childhood problems again, I mean, since s3 that we don't see that, well in s5 in Just Murdered and s6 in My nanny she mentioned some things, but I'd really love to see someone of her family :)
 
Continue to improve screentime for the characters that need it.Keep focus on team dynamics,crimes and forensics.Learn a little more about Frank's and Ryan's background and finally a really good story for Natalia.

Let's try meeting members of Ryan or Frank's families, or meet someone from Natalia's past -- bring forth Ryan's OCD, or explore Natalia's abusive past (the underground place she stayed, women she may have met, ect).
 
Yeah,Calleigh family history as the daughter of an alcoholic should be explored becouse is part of who she is now and reacts the way she does.A sister will be fine as well.Maybe someone completely different from her that flirts with Eric.JK.
 
In addition to family background for Frank and Ryan,and story for Natalia, a little info on Tara's fate. If Tara doesn't return did she go to prison,rehab, have her license revoked,etc?

Would it be too much to ask for a cross over epi with LV or NY this season?

Also, even though Calleigh is my favorite character of all time, it would be nice to see more Natalia. She's my BFF's favorite and I know it would make her happy.

I'd also like to get through the next season without any main characters leaving or dying.

I know it sounds strange but, I would like to see the inside of Natalia's house we know she lives in a pretty expensive neighborhood (Shattered 4.10), and we've gotten to see at least the bathroom if not the bedroom part od Ryan, Eric, Mairsol (living room in Driven) and Calliegh's houses or appartments. I think it would be nice, because it would give a sense of her personality and what she is like outside of CSI.

I would also like to see Ryan and Natalia interact with their family too, I think that that would be a very intresting twist on these characters.

It's not strange. ;) I've always wanted to see it as well, & it's something that helps connect you to the character outside of their work environment, so every once in a while, I think it's a must.

Yeah I would like to see that explored also. Maybe we could finally see what Duke's been up to. Though I always pictured Calleigh more with brothers than sisters.

It would be so cool to have another crossover. I would especially like it with Vegas since it's been longer than the one they had with NY. If the Vegas CSI's went to Miami again I would really like for Cath and Nick to go.

If you ask me, a cross over based on the current storyline would work but it would likely be with Vegas as the folks in NY have their own problems at the moment.

I know this is wishful thinking but would a crossover involving all three CSI's work?

Actually, yesterday I read a FF that had a crossover with all three CSI's, but that would awesome!! Maybe a serial killer that attacked in all three cities or something :)
