LB I agree, but you could even get jealous Danny by having Linds mention a guy in conversation and Danny overhears and immediately jumps on it, "Wait who's this guy, Montana?" and then have her be like, "Relax Danny it's just my brother/friend/etc." And he gets a little embarrassed for being transparent and Linds gets this happy smile cuz she knows he was jealous for a sec!
But Angst is my fav thing ever! Love it!

And as far as triangles in fics go, I can handle those, because there is a 99% chance that they will turn out with the people I want to end up together actually ending up with eachother. On the show, I have no control

the looks exchanged between Danny and Lindsay in RSRD when his badge is being taken away...and I am totally curious as to whether it was [Lindsay looks at Danny sadly] or what...
LB that is one of my favorite moments between D/L...I think because there is so much depth that shows in just those few looks. It's like Danny is trying to draw strength from Linds, yet at the same time be strong in front of her in this humiliating experience and Linds is trying to be strong for him, and show him that she knows he's innocent all the while her heart is breaking for him having to go through this in front of everyone...so yeah not sure what that script note would have said, but I think it's an awesome scene!
