Wow, sounds like the new girl is going to be hated, even though she's likely not going to be brought in as a love interest...
On the chance of sounding... I don't know, shallow maybe... shoudl we not wait to see in what context they bring around this new chick before we bash and torture her? (I really don't want to become one of those character haters - think about how much we hate the peopel who bash Lindsay left right and center... I'd rather not sink to that level, at least not til we KNOW the character...) Just my two cents.
Running away now.

I think Danny was just being a smart ass in Summer in the City, kind of like the wheat comment in Stealing Home.

Hey Cfar, I know how you feel. It took me a long time to admit to people here that I really didn't warm up to Danny at first(again ducking the flying objects). There was always something about him that intrigued me, and he's definitely cute, but I didn't always like him last season. This season, I've really come to like him (and now I even like him when I watch season 1 episodes) and he's become one of my favorite characters. I'd like to thank Lindsay has something to do with that. The way he went after her in "All Access" and how he was sort of 'mentoring' her in "Live or Let Die" showed some growth on his part. Now there will always be an edge to Mr. Messer, I don't think he should become a Mac or Hawkes type person, but everyone has to grow up sooner or later. I think with Lindsay he knows that he has to be a man and not a boy. IMO :)



**Thinking of a way that Iheart can combine angst and comedy into her fic---did you include the ants and Lindsay pushing Danny off the canoe?? :lol: :cool:


Cyko---I agree. Let's wait and see about the new girl. Then if she is awful, we'll allow IHNC to lock her in the basement. Just Kidding. Give her a chance! ;)

I don't hate the new girl...She may be great. We don't know anything about her yet. So long as she doesn't keep Hawkes from getting screen time, we're good ;) :lol:

I didn't really like Flack all that much at first either *ducks big huge flying objects* but I adore him now. But yes, I suppose we should hold off on the hate until we know the new girl... :p

As much as I love Hawkes, I do not want Danny to turn into him. His competiveness and other querks can endearing in a way. I just want Danny to be an adult version of himself.

I think that's what makes Danny and Lindsay a good couple. He grows up around her, knows he has to be serious because that's what she needs.

i don't want danny to grow up too much tho. i think he's cute how he is, but linds definitely brings out his mature side.

BTW: Happy 4th of july, even tho i'm english! ROFL!

I don't think we should judge the new girl yet. She probably won't even creat any problems.

She's really only a B-plot character thus far. I just don't like her because it means no Flack. :(

Isn't that where we should all be?

Flack's just this guy, you know... Right. Well, he's a great detective, smart, funny, snarky, and he's definitely got the goods in the looks department. In general I think he just adds a lot to the show and it'll be sad without him for a while, especially after the S2 finale. I hope we find out what happens to him -- how he recovered, etc. Because we all know they couldn't kill off Flack.

I see you have a FM Radio Playlist thread up there, IHNC. I'm making a fanmix-- I actually already have the list of songs compiled, I'm just looking for five mp3s of certain songs that I don't have.
