hello everyone

so I finally seen the episode and what an awesome one it was.

I tried to go through all the posts but it were simply too many

but I loved the phone call. it was a way for them to be close but still maintain some distance. sometimes its easier to write it down or talk on the phone then face to face.

Im glad that she didnt go to him becuase they definitely need time to sort themselves out before they start to sort them as a couple out. maybe a late night calls could be a way to do it. talk without getting distracted by the others physical presence, because lets face it, they simply cant resist each other and having sex is the last thing they need right now

I need to re-watch some scenes because I seemed to miss some nice nuances but I dont mind :)

as for the exit of Lady V - I never hated her per se. I just dont like people who mess with my ships - for whatever reason. as for her character, I never really cared either way. Im glad she had a dignified exit but Im definitely not missing her.

as for Danny telling Lindsay - Im torn. I dont think they can start over until they put all cards on the table but on the other hand I dont want Lindsay to suffer anymore and I had enough drama and angst to last for another 3 seasons

Right to get back on topic, any ideas on what their next case should be? Basketball was a good one IMO cause it was nice to see the banter start to come in. Loved Linds's look of confusion over the 'Crime of Patience' cheerleader.

Welcome, Weapons_Tech!

So, a new case. We had football, we had basketball, next should be baseball. Oh, this would be nice. :D

Since last episode I'm really excited for the new ones again. Maybe it's because I have absolutely no idea what might happen next. With last epi, they really surprised me (and this time in a good way! yey!). After not giving us much DL this season, and after PF, will we get more scenes in the last two episodes? Will we see DL getting closer? Will we see Hawkes calling Lindsay 'Montana'? Or will Danny say it? So many questions. My wish would be some DL scenes like the phone call. It still makes me squee, whenever I think about it.

synchronized swimming? I mean we already had baseball, basketball, american football, golf, that chicks-on-rolleskates thing, martial arts etc. would give the boys something to look at :)

I think I would like to see something that would leave Danny in completly uncharted teritory but be familiar for Lindsay - like horses. I think I would like to see her with a horse. dont ask me why

Carolina - I agree that it was better for them to have that conversation over the phone as it allowed them to be honest about how they felt. I felt that they both showed their vulnerability and Danny seems keen to talk to her. I still don;t think that she knows about Rikki though...and as much as I do not want any drama, I think she deserves the truth.

Peaches - I am not sure what case they should have next. Maybe something about bugs??? that seems to bring the banter out. Banter is good, Too much angst is bad!!

yeah, thats why I said I was torn. becuase she needs to know. I just think its gonny hurt even more then id had hurt back then. and maybe Danny is realizing that too.

and yay for bugs. they connect so well over them. and its always fun. what was the last time they had a bug case? DoWaR or did I forget something?

In regards to problems posting, my comp was a little funny but I chose to stay permanently signed in and that worked for me. Before then, I was copying what I wrote before sending it, lost it then pasted instantly. Make sense? Nah.... :D

I wanna see some appreciation of the boys in the next case, they've had plenty to look at re: psycho cheerleaders & roller derby chicks. Time for some hot guys that causes the girls to get all flustered while interrogating and the boys to get a little jealous. Firemen? Pit the NYPD against the FDNY. I'd like to see a little comedy slip back in to the mix.

I like the idea of bugs again. Back to basics and all! :D

Edit - Oh, I've only just discovered I can change the page layout - it's now 'Something blue this way comes' Oooohhhh! :lol:

I wholeheartly second that. what about Chipendales? or male swimming team? or an art class doing acts? oh, so many possibilities and so little time :lol: we definitely need some lightheartiness. it would do us - and them, really good

I only have one problem with what you mentioned, Peaches, that I cant actually copy what I write down, so when something gets lost it stays lost.

I'd really love to see some lighter episodes. There's so much they could do. Like in season 2. I'd love to see them (especially Danny and Lindsay) working a case together, like the superman case, or a scene like the one with the bugs. Or the condom spray. They are just tiny little moments but they make the episodes so much more fun to watch. This season was very dramatic. Next season should definitely be lighter.

I think when she knew it would've come up in that phonecall, I have a feeling that she suspects something and is therefor a bit scared of actually having that talk...she knows it will hurt her more...

Yeah, they've both lost several people they cared about all through violence and he now more than ever understands what made/makes her take some distance to think every now and then...

LOL, we are still having a Summer in May too...I just heard that this was the hottest Pentecost weekend ever :cool:

But when he doesn't tell her, he will be the one who keeps suffering, because this secret will get heavier and heavier to bear the longer he waits...

Hey I am back! Still not unpacked and on my own computer but oh well....

Sheesh, I think I will only answer the last question :lol: Oh, and welcome Weapons! It is very VERY crazy in here :D

The question I will answer is about what the next normal case should be...I agree with peaches firefighters! Not only will we enjoy them fire fighten guys, but we get to see the hot tension of the NYPD and NYFD! :drool:

ETA: Quick question, if Lindsay did go to Danny's place wouldn't she of gotten there as Danny is talking to Rikki? If you guys already discussed this thoroughly sorry! :)

throughtout the whole good-bye scene I kept thinking that Lindsay is gonna appear any moment now and then needed to remind myself that this is not a telenovela. :lol:

Dutch, I agree that she needs to know. Im just sick of all the drama

We will never know, since we first have no idea how far from Danny's apartment she was when he called and second we don't no how much later Rikki showed up at his door; but since he called Lindsay at 10.00 PM I don't think Rikki was there much later. And Danny and Rikki's conversation didn't last that long, so the chance that Lindsay might have walked in on them saying goodbye seems highly unlikely...

Meg! I'm so glad you're back! :lol: It's been forever!

I don't think Lindsay went to his place and if she did, they would've noticed if she randomly appeared. That and for some strange reason I've put my trust in TPTB that there is not gonna be anymore ridiculous angst (for a couple of weeks).

Firemen vs Police - just too many routes one can take with this. I get the feeling that it will all come down to a face off after the investigation. Basketball court anyone? Maybe a visit to the Old Skool handball ground? :drool: Sorry, just getting myself excited over WifeBeater Wednesday!

I would have almost laughed if Lindsay showed up at Danny's apartment as Rikki was saying goodbye to him. Thats just too much.

I read something about this in a spoiler box in the previous page so I figured I should respond about it, in a spoiler box. If Hawkes calls Lindsay "Montana" I will flip out. Lindsay probably will too. She will either be smiling because its cute, or have some kind of minor mental breakdown because she misses Danny calling her that and she gets reminded of all the good times they had *cough* a game of pool, anyone? *cough*But either way, I wouldnt want Hawkes saying that. Its Danny's thing. D/L all the way :thumbsup:
