Is it possible that lady V is coming back to be one of our new seasons victims?? Well I don't know if it possible or not but it's an interesting idea and it wuld also be a nice closure to the whole Danny/Rikky staff....

I don't think so because it was said that she was coming back for more than one episode. I don't know if I could handle seeing her dead over and over again. That would really, REALLY horrible on the part of the writers.

I personally think with the trend of the way the writers are writing, Rikki will be introduced as a fling with Flack and Danny will be furious...wait...this isn't General Hospital...oops! My bad...:p

How about Romeo and Juliet for them? *Imagines Carmine in tights and rolls on the floor laughing*. Actually that made me think of West Side Story which would be absolutely PERFECT for them. :D

If she came back as a victim, she wouldn't have to be dead over and over. They said a few eps, right? That could mean only two. Maybe in the first ep she gets kidnapped and they are looking for her, but don't find her till the second part. Then when they do find her she's very badly hurt and has to go to the hospital where she later dies... or maybe gets stuck in a coma like Louie.

I'm more and more trying to convince myself (and why not, since we have no clue what her return will be about :p) that she will be back to actually help the D/L relationship :cool:...maybe she'll say or do something that makes Danny realize how truly stupid he has been and how Lindsay is the only one for him, or perhaps she pulls another stunt like she did in AitF and starts threatening (or worse) people again and somehow endangers Danny...

Let's keep thinking positive thoughts people, we aren't going to get anywhere with all these negative thoughts. I agree Dutch, it doesn't have to mean it is a bad thing that she is coming back.

:lol: For a second I thought you meant Lindsay was the one to pull a stupid stunt in the episode and I got really confused for a second...I actually have forgotten what happened in a lot of the episodes from before the strike. Now I know what you mean...Lindsay pulling a stunt that endangers Danny? Maybe his libido :devil: Oh good Lord I'll stop now!

Why is Peaches so happy?! Well.... Guess who got her Season 4 Part 1? That's right, me! :lol: As it only goes up to episode 12 I can make believe in my little land that nothing else will happen, it's still unwritten. Anyone seen my free UV pen? Not amused. Although the lack of Part 2 is causing my OCD to go into overdrive. I would've bought the season as one whole set but that would mess with my collection (how freaked was I when OTH Season 3 was half the size of Season 1 & 2? :rolleyes:).

Wait, wait, we're killing her? No, no, NO! That would lead to unnecessary angst and no doubt guilt for SMM - you know it's true. That wouldn't be closure, that'd be agony to watch. Can't grasp the concept of more DL angst, not at this time of the day. *shakes head*

Hand holding whilst arguing is my kinda fluff. Ok, so it doesn't appear in the subtitles but in fairness the subtitles don't mention half the stuff they actually say. Condom Spray! I'll say it again, he totally checks her ass out as she says, 'Allow me to demonstrate' then the dirty (sorry distracted by SMM's shirt porn :drool:) looks when she starts spraying. :lol:

He checks her out in the Jaws episode too doesn't he? Awww, it's pervy fluff. So what will the next trip to the field involve? I'm wanting something more impressive than the Statue of Liberty. More bombs? A sequel to the James Bond car? ;) With pink flames this time :D

Woah, we got really quite guttery there didn't we? Love it! Danny endangered due to his libido. Brilliant! Can we have this in a car? The James Bond car!

I so have to agree with you on this one, whatever happens it's got to be realistic. That being said, no babies, no weddings, no false declarations of love, no chasing around looking like a sad puppy, no 'I'm done with grieving let's get back together now', no glossing over the issues, no 'let's get back together but I have a secret' followed by, 'looky here, Rikki's back and she's gonna tell you my secret', no more confusion, no more ptb saying one thing then showing the other, no more being driven to desperate searches for the use of 'honey' (subtitled or otherwise).:lol:

Please some of this; clarity, honesty, gritty and angsty confessions, apologies but make sure the other person knows what it is you're apologising for, something to indicate the state of D/L play pre-Ruben, show Danny's grief/guilt affecting him in other ways.

Leading to this; banter, fun, lighter moments, friendship leading to better things (or even, at a push staying as friends but retaining the chemistry that we love), and finally when and IF ready let's head for the gutter. :)

Okay, here's a happy thought. Maybe Rikki will come back to inform Danny that she's engaged or married to someone else and that she's really happy and that he helped her get past her grief and she's grateful to him for that. She kisses his cheek, tells him goodbye and leaves. On her way out of town with new bf/hubby, they witness a crime/murder and so she has to go to Danny again to tell him (this is in her second ep) what she saw. Then after all of that is settled and the murder is solved, she leaves town with new bf/hubby never to be seen by Danny again. :D

Seriously though, D/L definitely need some resolution to their current predictament. :)

That would work out potentially. With Rikki coming back, it is just interesting to see what ways she could come back without being too much of a soap opera.

We may not want the whole glossing over the issue or them getting back together without any issues but I think that is what is going to happen. At this point I will just take what I can get. I don't want to see marriage talk, babies, and flufftastic scenes at this moment. I just want them back to that light hearted fun they had from season two and the end of season three.

Peaches, doing it in the James Bond car sounds brilliant! There is that guttery mind of yours that I love so much! ;)

No more speculation please! We're only depressing ourselves and some are starting to display worrying aspects of their personalities. Killing her? Really? :lol: At this rate, the DL thread is turning into the 'Why Rikki can't come back' thread.

Ok, granted my last post was verging towards guttery but I believe I did not go as far to state that DL were actually fully getting it on in the James Bond (with pink flames!) car. I do like that idea though Meg nice work! :lol:

Yeah, I'm also at the stage where I'll take what I can get too. Just give us the smiles! Or at least Lindsay checking out Messer's ass for a change! Little light heartedness? Wee bit? No? Fine, let her accept a coffee quite happily from him. Even smile, not flinch when he holds her waist as he moves to see something. Personal space? Let's lose it again and get them bouncing ideas off one another again. Not saying they have to go down the anonymous phone call route again (who wrote those fanfics? Fabulous, anyway! :devil:) but have them discussing cases when they aren't working the same one. This way, we're getting character development individually, have Lindsay out of the lab and into the field and back to bantering with Danny - at least to start off with. Then comes Lindsay's sneaky looks to match SMM then enter guttery scenario. :D


*Peaches runs back to scare the living daylights outta herself with Supernatural. Dean Winchester has an axe :drool: :drool: and yes, there probably is something in your closet! Also Insane Asylums? Why, why, why? Why would you ever walk in one? At night? Don't these people realise they're in a horror show? I love this show but it freaks me out!*

Hey, there's an idea for a D/L fic. Have them have to go alone together into an abandonded insane asylum where a body was found. Lindsay would be scared and Danny could protect her. Or would it be the other way around? :lol:

At this rate I think it's far more likely that Lindsay will be visiting Danny in the asylum rather than them being there together on a case. :lol:

And no, I really don't want Danny protecting Lindsay in S5. I want her strong and kicking ass, even if it's his!! :lol:

I agree. I want to see her being strong, because she is. Hey, we don't have to see Danny protecting Lindsay, but Lindsay protecting Danny would definitely be something I'd like to see.
What I really want to see is some teasing. I'm really missing that. Some good old DL teasing would be cool.

I miss teasing too. Watching season 4 over again is making me like DL less. Don't get me wrong I like them, I ship them, but the bantering that drew them together just wasn't there. It really is difficult to watch these two with so much drama. It was almost better [gulp] when they were just flirting, not actually an item. nce they got together, I feel like verything went down hill. If TPTB could incorporate the 'old' DL into their dating, it would be rockin'!
